I can, and will join, but only have 2 max-level provisioners. I will still submit my results...

If the recipe was readily available this would be a really good thing. But given how hard it is for someone like me to get the recipe, with only one character doing the high level writs I might not get all the fragments for months. This has turned out to be just another way hard-core gamers can make large amounts of in game gold and leave casuals even further behind. Not what I was hoping for from these boosters at all.

I am 0 so far... It will be interesting to see how long it takes to get my first fragment, but going on the figures here so far, I won't be anticipating one anytime soon.

They are buying the fragments on the open market at 500k a frag or more.

Are the fragments really selling for 500k+? I've only seen people offering 100k. The fragments are very difficult to find in the guild traders as "trophy" doesn't seem to be under any of the filter able options.

Do you mean you need to be able to craft Psijic Ambrosia in order to get recipe fragments as writ rewards? I only have points enough to make blue recipes because that is all I actually use in the game, but I still get purple recipes from writ rewards (stuff like "Tears of Joy" and "Secret Chef's Pork Roast"). Is Psijic Ambrosia different? I have no intention of ever making it, but would still like to get fragments so I can sell them just like I sell purple recipes.

No. According to the patch notes you have a higher chance of getting a fragment if you're doing a higher level provisioning writ. The highest level provisioning writ comes from having 6/6 in Recipe Improvement (requires Provisioning 50 and allows you to craft VR10 food), so that's what you need to maximize your chances. You don't need to have any skill points in Recipe Quality to get the recipe fragments: the 2 fragments I got both came from characters who had no skill points in Recipe Quality.
