The lengthy downtime was simply to make stuff available to everyone, dropping the sub requirements for forum and game access and all that. The last forum structure update was far quicker.I can count to potato.

No, I think it's a common complaint whenever a website introduces a white background - which is by far the most unpopular aspect of the new update here. I recall the same thing, for example, when the old Massively site made such a change a couple of years or so ago. People set their monitors to a contrast/brightness level that is right for e.g. gaming and then find the white background is really glaring on the forum. For those with sensitive eyes or medical issues with their vision it can cause headaches and other problems. It's the one thing that needs to be changed quickly in my view, the rest of the changes are very positive.3 -

The biggest issues for me are the narrow font and the fact that on large screens, at 100% zoom, the side bars take up about 1/3 of the screen in bright white. I feel like I'm trying to read a newspaper from across the street with spotlights pointed at my face.2 -
Ignotus✭✭✭I mostly like it. I think it would be better if the blue up top reached all the way down the sides somehow though. The white is a little straining to me, but not too bad. I think it would be really beneficial if there were 3-5 user-selectable themes.- change the current one to be more blue
- then add one that's more green (the current color seems to be between blue/green to me personally)
- the old brownish scheme
- black or dark grey
- some other color (red, purple, orange)

Good to hear. I have a plug-in to filter the bright white, but it makes the site look terrible. Of course, bad colors are preferable to migraines.

Bc1151✭✭✭Zenimax has to understand that most people that play games hard core live in a dark low-light room to enhance perception of the screen, Or at least I do lol. Point being that a lot of hard core computer users have high light sensitivity; I for one have a problem viewing this forum for more than five minutes at once now,
Please add the feature for a theme chooser on the forums.
