Got bored with logging in everyday just to get home keeps back. I've been having more fun using my NB to Flying Blade people from stealth, /w them "I wanna play a game...", and then continue to harass them
Thing is I see population, there are a lot of DC around. Just, leaderless and ineffective for the most part.
I did see the Empror/Karstyl group up until recently, what's going on with them ?

Actually wait, I have a better idea, how about ZOS changes PvP so you can only play it between 6PM and 12AM EST?
Excellent work lagspoiting the server, Ep. You have a lot to be proud of.

Well ***, they tried doing it legit for 12 hours and couldn't even come close to entering Arrius . So of course this was the only way.
ZOS, in its silence, must endorse the play as "working as intended"
If they don't, then say something. I see the thread in which the guy admitted to it is now gone. Makes you think huh? All these threads with us calling them cheaters, them calling us cheaters, the other calling both cheaters, and the one time someone admits to it, it's erased, with no explanation or mod saying anything.

Yeah, that was my thread. ZOS messaged me why they closed it:
"We are contacting you to let you know that we removed your thread titled "(Thornblade NA) Scroll taken from Ghartok Temple... how?"
We removed this because posters were discussing and explaining potential exploits, which is against the Code of Conduct."
Those who took the Scroll knew damn well it was an exploit. I'm not mad at all of AD for it, as several AD commented on the thread that they were disgusted by their teammates' taking it, just at those who did it.
Try as they may to justify it not being an exploit, the Gates are locked for a reason: you're not supposed to get in without taking the keeps. Period. Why else do the Menders there deal 10k damage only when the Gates are closed?

We must continue to dominate the inferior factions and prevent these days from returning!
Come my fellow Pact brethren, we must push them back to their spawn gates and hold them there indefinitely! Charge!

They guy explained exactly how to do it. They had better fix it now. Hot patch? It'd be easy.

2 surefire ways:
1) Put gates on the Scroll Temples that are only open when the keeps are captured.
2) Put an insta-kill barrier at the Gates, like the ones around the Cyrodiil starting areas.
Probably wouldn't take too long to implement either.
Actually some of the top AD players are now on EP side is another of the issue, having been back some now and following names like I do at times, is sort of why AD has been suffering some of their most deadly are EP side now. Really wish II could say who but stupid rules get me in trouble, may have been why AD has flopped some recently. But yeah DIE switching/leaving is not good for AD

I will agree that all those groups/guilds leaving AD for EP has single handedly caused the fall of AD and the rise of EP.

As for that scroll that was picked up by its rightful EP owners, it was grabbed fairly with several AD around it at the time. Most of the EP around the scroll (as I was) and in my group were dead when that happened.

The scroll was lag picked up, I know because I was also there. There were AD literally standing on the scroll using every ability they had and it did nothing. I did not bother because I know the result of this, it was not by chance that a massive chunk of the EP force just decided to ignore everything, run to the scroll, and spam try and take it while not taking damage... we all know its feasible/possible because of lag. Calling it fair is a bit of a stretch
Alas I don't blame the player, I blame the game that leads to these inevitabilities. The environment we have to use leads to these outcomes given player behavior, nothing can change that except fixing the environment.

Interesting. The lag supposedly prevented the scroll taker from taking damage yet somehow I died at the scroll pedestal a few seconds before he grabbed it. This lag that prevents players from taking damage also somehow wiped about 90% of my group and several other EP players as well. Very strange.
Perhaps even more puzzling, after masses of EP rezzed back at Alessia to help the scroll runner (which surely cured the lag problem since AD and DC blame the lag on EP and never themselves), Roe still fell. Is the lag (or absence of it) responsible for that as well? Or could there be another explanation for both events?

Well, looks like we don't have to worry about that anymore!
From the 1.6 patch notes:
"Ferocious Leap (morph): Fixed an issue where using this ability was unintentionally allowing you to jump up keep walls."
So no more using it to get through closed gates. Goodie.
as an EP i say yes, please do form an AD/DC green alliance, way too many ppl are playing EP right now, everything has been zerged to death before i even get to the fight on thorn
you can thank your dk emp group for that, but im not bitter, or crying for nerfing dk's or emp, just want some help balancing the map.
