I agree. Kind of a waste of time crying and complaining and trying to fix something that isn't in use yet.
Alternatively - discussing all the options so that what is implemented is as efficient as possible at the start may be better than trying to throw in a load of fixes later on.
    Agrend on the premise that
o Good requirements lowers the total cost of fixes by taking care of problems logically before fixes are needed.
o Bad requirements induce feedback processing, more devs, more QA, and subsequent redeployments.

Also seems silly and lazy to want to use Champion points on characters that didn't earn them (in my opinion). You want the Points, play the character and earn them.

Otherwise us bored VR14's will just dominate and exploit the system...lol

I wasn't complaining about the system. Was asking a question :-p

As you say, why should Champion points be used on other chars then the one who earned it?
I THINK the answer to that is, quite alot of players dont have 1 main char (I do).
So they like to use the points they earned. Not loose them if they dont play 1 char anymore.

I can accept this, even if I think Champion points should be character specific, just like skill points.

However, I was suggesting a mid ground. Champion points could be used on any of your LEVEL 50 characters (not below like it is now).

All your Level 50 chars who earns points can use them. But when 1 points is used, another character should not be able to use that point too.

The system right now gives all your chars access to all points. If you have 100 CPs on 1 char, then all chars will be able to used those 100 points. Each!

I think this is to much. Bound to account, ok. But a used point should get used.
All your chars earned CPs anyway?

I think getting as many views and suggestions from all kinds of different views is the best way to find a good solution.

We don't need to agree. In fact, its WORSE if all agree on a subject, because then you miss angles and views you could used.

We agree to disagree, but still have a good discussion. Zenimax is listening and maybe several of our suggestions, that are totally against each other, will help Zeni to make a better system.

For example. I LIKE earning my things in ESO. I LIKE when encounters are so difficult that you wipe for hours, for a small mistakes. I LIKE the random chance of good loot.

Some people don't understand that at all. Of course not! We are different.

Some players LOVES getting everything fast and easy. 10 mins to get the best items in game is the DREAM from some players. I do not understand them...BUT, Zenimax gets all views and work out a system that works for most :-)

My view, I paid my dues. I got a char to 50+ and earn those points. I should be able to use my rewards on my other non 50 chars.

I have 3 vet chars, however they are some players who make alts all the time and to be fair to those type of players. They be able to use the points on their non 50 level alts. They just need to get one char to level 50 to be able to spend those points.

I want to see how this works before I decide my position on the account wide use of points. I can see several different view points on this. One possibility is the desire to give vet players more re-playability.

And this brings in a question I just thought of. Will people who start playing after the vet system goes completely byebye get those 14 extra attribute and skill points?

They will have to, as will anyone who is only part way through Veteran advancement. Either that, or they will remove them completely, but that's less likely since they only just introduced them.
It's likely that the points will come every 1,000,000 XP above 50 as they do now, just without a rank association, or will instead be tied to a specific champion point. (Or you'll get 14 points straight off when you hit 50, but that's less likely.)

I think the CS system will add a Skyrim feel to the advancement of the characters in ESO. Bringing the tree, ESO constellations lol, I think will help make better players. I feel as of late if you don't do what everyone else is doing you won't have all the best gear/loot. Everyone wants to DPS not tank or heal. So Beth and ZOS hurry up and release, I want to see what this is all about, you already have my money, lol.

On a side note, is there any future on a new single player TES?

So a couple things on the pvp stuff.

    1. I think the system ESO has now is pretty unique and fun, however most can agree that there can be some improvements.
-When you are in a group it would be nice if the leader could have a set of commands that would pop up in white bold print above the health bar for the rest of the players. This would make it a lot easier to work as a group, because you don't have to constantly squint at the comment bar while in combat.
-Also have the opportunity for group leaders to communicate with other group leaders, so multiple groups can strategize across the map. (Im pretty sure you can do this already, but the simpler the system the better.)

    2. Horse Combat. We all want to be able to fight on horseback, which was available in Skyrim. My guess from the pictures above that horse combat will be issued next update, but here are some suggestions on what I think would be really cool.
-Horse Armor and weapons. It would be so awesome if you could outfit your horse with dope armor, obviously have to make the horse's stamina go down but it could take more damage. Also having weapons specifically for horse combat would be so fun. For example, lances, bow, and sabers; swords designed for mounted combat.
-Your horse should be able to die. It is really sad, but more realistic. I know how much a horse costs and I think if your horse dies, you could summon it again once you have left combat. Having your horse die and being able to fight on horse back would add a lot to game, and game strategy.

Feel free to comment and share your thoughts.

I'm pretty excited for the CS system to be integrated. I took some time off to Alpha test and then play ArcheAge at release (much to my dismay).

My gaming community came back to ESO when we heard about all the new releases coming up. Dark Brotherhood? Score! Stealing stuff! Makes me reminiscent of many hours looting useless items in Balmorra in Morrowind.. Wait.. I can be a bounty hunter? Sweeeet.

The CS system is a nice cherry on top. I'm pretty excited to see it.

For all general nay-sayers and folks that are picking apart things before it launches, remember these devs actually listen to the community (unlike Trion, who banned a few members of my guild for speaking out on very broken aspects of ArcheAge).

Warms my heart to know that ZoS shoots it straight to us gamers. I'd rather see all these great updates and that the devs are getting in touch with us than the blanket statement "We're working on a fix" for literally every issue.

I'm a bit curious to see if the CS system reminds me a little of the Legacy system in SWtOR. Gain exp/legacy exp.. use legacy exp to unlock perks that can be either account wide, or character only. Perhaps ZoS might have a balance of this. Either way.. I'll be happy to be done with these veteran levels.. as I regret not leveling more quickly and now am looking at 9 more vet ranks to go -.-

Thanks again ZoS for continually to work on the game. Us ES fans appreciate it.

And a side note.. that's more personal ... why are you wanting to use a game pad to play a PC game.... that just makes me want to facepalm. And as someone who just bought a new rig and has amazing peripherals whyyyyy a game pad.

though I do agree.. that freaking Q-quick slot wheel drives me bonkers. But as with all ES games, if you don't like it then get a mod to fix it.

I love love the fact that ZoS has allowed mods. Now if we can only have a Super Creeper mod when the Justice System is implemented I would be eternally grateful.

You can effectively do that now by equipping the same weapon type in second slot. Many of us already do that. 1h & s. 1st bar/ 1h & s. 2nd bar :)
