And this is what killed PVP for me in this game.
Also for those saying this is an exploit remember that the mechanic is working as intended (not bugged) so no exploiting is happening, just the fact it's a horribly unbalanced mechanic.

Come on now @Turelus you can come to our Christmas party tonight if it will cheer you up

And this is why this month I've been doing writs, pledges, trials and other stuff. Thanks to this, AD has reduced the score difference from about 10k to 4k in one night. That's another 6k points in a few hours. Impossible to pull off without this bonus+map grab exploit.
Map grab wasn't an 'exploit' we saw an opportunity to crown emp and took it with coordination from 5 guilds + some zone pugs this then enabled us to cap the map.
The fact we got the bonus after doing this if it is based off last 2 days + activity is valid.
The amount of the bonus is the only questionable area.
And this is what killed PVP for me in this game.

Now PvP is all about AP farming in Thorn. What's the point playing and trying to win when ZOS promotes not playing, at least for one faction...
This week I never once saw that AD where so outnumbered that they should deserve low pop bonus.
But if devs said it's working as intended, then it's seems working fine, as a tool to drive away players from PvP. Wabba left...

Yet AD is on par population-wise with the other factions from what I've seen.
Edit: Also, every factions PvP population suffered heavily. I made an alt earn a few hundred AP to see how many players have Thornblade (DC) as their home campaign, and it's not even 2k. That's extremeley low if you ask me.

What kills PvP much more for me is the dedicated AoE spam from groups and guilds, with seemingly no other purpose than to lag everything to ***.And this is what killed PVP for me in this game.

Dont tell this to anybody.. Just between you and me please...
Izanagi is a hacker he hacked the ZoS eso servers and when they took the whole map the he activated the low pop bonus..Thats how they do it.
Highly confidential, dont forget this.

AD really has a low population !!!

DID notice it was referred to as a glitch not a bonus.
Good to know there are senior yellows who are concerned about this.

IF this is true, I'd like to see the matter investigated by ZOS and the banhammer used on those responsible for exploiting.

I would agree, although I'm still not willing to take a events reported by someone who's friend saw something.
They states on the ESO show that these bonuses are calculated over days (at least that's what I remember) so manipulation is like they said pretty damn hard to achieve.

Yes, I understand. I wouldn't accept this as certainly true if I heard it as you have, second hand. Unfortunately, I heard it from a guildmate and believe he is telling the truth. I was told the names of the people involved though of course I can't mention them here. I would happily pass them on to any official investigation of this issue.

I would say you should pass them on to ZOS, in the least they could then check their logs to see if anything fishy did happen.

I have friends that told me that DC are exploiting the mechanic aswell to get a two front war on AD!111 /s.
Sorry, you still just sound deluded. You are stuck in some withc hunt for AD now, Just accept that the mechanic is broken and will therefore be changed.

Except nothing on the map supports you as it does me. Heh. I've been told by an AD player that serious shenanigans are going on. Without the low pop bonus (which it still isn't clear you have genuinely earned!) you'd have been nowhere for months. By doing this you are wrecking the best person to person combat game there has ever been.
If you are a part of this abuse then be ashamed.
