@ZOS_JessicaFolsom‌ hey i just wondred if it will be voice chat for pc? like maby only for groups or something, so we dont need to stop and write to give comands or ask for suport. i know we can use teamspeak or other software but having in game voice chat would be nice.

It would be good to know whether "We’ve also added voice chat" means that ZOS have implemented their own voice chat into the game, or if they have added integration for XBL and PSN's built-in system voice chat software. If the former, then chat for PC as well is more likely; if the latter, then it is less likely.

I wonder if they have implemented an oops button for the justice system, if say a player accidentally attacks an NPC in town. A way to auto yield and stop combat as an "oops".

Guard says: "Pay for your fine or do the Time."

In single player TES, games if one does not have the coin to pay the fine for a crime, one can go to jail and sleep it off or try to escape. Not sure how that will work in a MMO game, since our char can not "sleep" in real time.

There's no jails coming with the Justice System straight away, but I think they said they may look into it for the future.

In Oblivion, you could yield by holding block and activating the character; in Skyrim, sheathing your weapon was considered a yield. They may implement something similar here. You may still be fined for assault even if the yield is accepted though.

I just wanna post my disappointment on Bethesda and the entire Elder Scrolls Team.
How could you do this to PS4 and Xbox players?
We are waiting over a year for this game.
There are no excuses for this delay. The pc version is up and going, new updates every time.
Just say you wont deliver the console version and end this joke.
I was crazy to buy this game. But I will not buy anymore.
If you have to wait more the 1 year to play a game that is ready, what kind of service do you expect to receive? I expect nothing more from you.

Looks like it will be pretty awesome. Any chance we might get the ability to keep our character centered on the screen regardless of zoom state? I am longing to lose the shoulder cam.

We could choose to spend 5 minutes in jail and have all of our confiscated goods stolen and an option to attempt to break out of jail, sneak to our goods and leave. That would be cool.

It is great news to get extra content for ESO again and it is these changes that provide extra fun and excitement in game.

The justice system will probably mean that a lot more characters will be creeping around (like I have to in Craglorn at the moment to avoid the VR11 monsters).

Having to support game consoles is also going to put more strain on the team at ZeniMax and every release from now on will have to take account of how the console UI will be affected.

We do need more players but consoles will have an advantage especially in PVP (which I have avoided so far) as game controllers are made for the purpose. It was mentioned earlier that it would be good to able to use game controllers on the PC version and that would be a positive step.

Can't wait to try it. I hope the download doesn't take all day for me like the last major release did!

    Awesome! B)

Love it all! Even though I would reaalllllyy like the Imperial city right now!

It makes perfect sense however, to phase in the justice system first, since we get so many changes to all kinds of combat. Slow balance and "tweaking" really works well.

"All Hail heavy armor, Stamina, Werewolves and Bow!"

I am not to happy about being able to use Champion points on level 1-49 chars.
Why is this needed? Takes what...1 week to 50? (Please reply if you got a hunch)

Oh, please don't bring back Forward camps. People learned to res!
I wonder if the side effect of no forward camps in Cyro to make people res, is similar to the side effects of players being able to form dungeon groups without a tool? B)

Consoles will be on separate servers, also separate from each other.
Multiple reasons for this: most obvious is that pc has mouse, keyboard and mods, all have keyboard for chat, most guilds use teamspeak.

Not so obvious but more important, integration with xbox and playstation networks makes it hard to have on both on one server as they don't like each other. You can have pc and xbox or PS3/4 players playing together but not xbox against PS3/4.

You can put out patches then ready on one platform is another benefit.

The only people I know who did the content from level 1 to 49 in one week were those who could afford to play 24/7 while wearing diapers. Everyone else takes longer than that.

I suspect that the easiest way to share those points is by sharing among all characters. I have no idea how this will affect game play and am really looking forward to trying it when it comes to the PTS in January. (I hope earlier).

...We have completely replaced the PC user interface with a console-specific UI designed from the ground-up with a controller and a living room play experience in mind....

Love the coming updates, but this here kind of blows my mind.

You mean--seriously--the Quick slot wheel was NOT done that way because you were designing for consoles??????????????

Then... WHY? What's the excuse for this UI horror?

amazing, now you just have to fix all the old bugs + the bugs you have introduced in each patch, get the launcher to stop false patching and lower the monthly fee a bit and you will be doing great things....or at least reasonable things.

    Interesting update

Good to see the console is still being worked on...can't wait to switch my PC account to console.

Looks like PvP is still suffering with no end in sight. Interesting. I hope it's been worth the pain to see a seamless console launch.

I like the news mentioning the Imperial City delay. Better to get it right than ruin another portion of PvP (it's bad enough).

At the current rate my bet is the Imperial City, Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood will hit sometime mid summer. I hope to jump on here and hear things are going well.

It would be nice to see the guilds come back to the game. I'd love to reform the League of Shadows and jump back into ESO and PvP....

    We'll see.

PS I used an X-Box controller for the PC version. Played awesome.

Yeah, level 50 everyone can get. I still do not understand why the champion points would be usable on level 1-49 chars. To pool your champion points is ok, even though I wouldnt mind if the pool was for all your chars, but once you used a point, its used.

I think it would be better to have all lvl 50 (all Vet ranks are level 50) earn champion points that goes to the same pool. Just like they described. Then you can choose what char to use the Champion point on. But not use the same point on several chars.

Anyone got a feeling why all chars can use all champion points?

That all Level 50 earns Champion points to the same pool makes sense, since that gives LOTS of different playstyles the ability to progress. No one gets "hurt". That Char you might not want to play anymore, who got 20 unused Champion points, will go to the pool and be used on your other chars. GREAT!

I just dont understand why 1 Champion point gets USED, that all your other chars get to use that point too? Why?

Agreed to both points. I don't understand why a character under Level 50 can use Champion Points when they are supposed to be an aspect of Veteran progression. I also don't understand why one CP can be used 8 times.

Cyrodiil is great, but 8 months of the samething has run it's course.

I wish I had been subbed the whole 8 months so I could adequately gauge your concerns.

However, years of the same thing was quite fun back in Dark Age of Camelot. Guess that shows how the players are changing.

A big chunk of the players (I'd guess at least 1/2 for new MMOs) only stick with a new MMO for a couple of months...so definitely changing.

Since Age of Conan, pretty much every MMO I've played, seems like the original guild you start with is HUGE and dies off after about 3 months because everyone in the guild quits playing.

The lag in Cyrodiil will hopefully get fixed when they do the class rework next patch and i'm thinking they'll be removing the aoe caps then.

Once AoE caps are gone, you won't have people stacking for long periods of times in one spot spamming Impulse or whatever...because that fight is going to be over very quickly.

Or they could remove healing spring and get rid of 1/2 the lag problem.

I'm really getting tired of seeing my own faction stack spamming this when I'm running past them trying to get into combat...

How about this? (Suggestion from me!!!)
    1. The champion system is just like they described, but.
    2. Your account have a Champion point pool where ALL your account characters at level 50 will share, add and use Champion Points from this pool.
    3. Any Champion point that gets earned by any level 50 on that account, goes to the Champion pool. This pool is available to use on your Level 50 chars at any time. Just like skill points
    4. When a Champion point from the pool i is used on any char. Its used and cant be reused (Unles respec)

    How about
All level 50 can use CPs from the pool. but once they use that point, its used. just like skill points.

    Question:

Why not give the option to a "respect" for champion points. This way all your chars does get access to all your CP, but not at the same time.
The respec SHOULD be Much more expensive to do, so only players who WANTS a specific build, will consider doing it.

    Reason from my question:
We don't need more bored Vet 14s, who used EVERY SINGLE SKILL in the game. Because they can respec 500 times. They are still dead bored in Craglorn, blaming the bad group tool. SOME found their way to Cyrodiil to get the rank "Cannonfodder".

My suggested system would be like this:

    One fictive account:
Char 1: Level 50 with 20 USED Champion points
Char 2: Level 30 (They confirmed only level 50 will gain points)
Char 3: Level 50 with 20 USED Champion points and 10 UNUSED.
Char 4: A new Level 50 and new to Champions - This way, the points on other chars doesnt go wasted, IF they dont use them or respec them?

The upside to have a dynamic Champion point pool, is that players will choose more carefully. We will see all kind of new build and the best of all, Character progression is for everyone. SURE...you dont grind 500 levels an hours. You dont raid trials, you dont get groups and what not.

ANY exp gained with ANY level 50 char will all players development until spell crafting.

All players gets the development SPEED they put into Tamriel.

Would not this be better then throw out Champion points all over?

I like and do not see a reason to change the CS system now. It is very close to the Rift Planar Attunement works. I really like that system as well. I am happy how the CS is coming to ESO.

We need to get CS a try, before we request any tweaks of it.

No, I didn't miss what Zos said. I read it. Pay attention -

Update 6 is so large that we’ll be holding the Imperial City PvP area for a future update. With all of our QA and testing resources focused on the far-reaching Justice and Champion Systems (along with other systems impacted by the update), we want to be sure that the Imperial City is fully ready when it hits PTS and moves on to launch.

Nowhere did Zos say Imperial City is done. They said want to be sure that the Imperial City is fully ready.

I agree. Kind of a waste of time crying and complaining and trying to fix something that isn't in use yet.

Also seems silly and lazy to want to use Champion points on characters that didn't earn them (in my opinion). You want the Points, play the character and earn them.

Otherwise us bored VR14's will just dominate and exploit the system...lol

Alternatively - discussing all the options so that what is implemented is as efficient as possible at the start may be better than trying to throw in a load of fixes later on.
