Maybe someone want to pay 1000$ to oneshot all in PvP?

It's the little button on the front of your computer.

Press and hold. There is about a 3-5 second cast time, though.

Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

im against anything else that involves payment! i think we should be able to create a vr1 character if you have a vr14 character.

The world just isn't that good. Making it a financial transaction however makes sense in a capitalist system. Making it free when it could be paid for doesn't make sense. This is why many MMO's charge extra for creation of high level characters, outfits, mounts, etc.

I don't understand people... I really don't. The leveling experience is the most enjoyable part of this game. End game is just boring. Why rush there?

I just want to say one word to you. Just one word and it's not plastics. PvP.

I created a High Elf Templar but I still don't know if I want to go through all the lower level content again so maybe I would take advantage of this if it was offered.

What about having two main buying options for the game? One the whole game at full price where you can PVE and PVP, basically what we have now. The second option (at half price) would only allow you to create characters in Cyrodiil starting at level VR1(who cannot leave Cyrodiil).
Second option should also be included in the first buying option, but again the character you can create in this way should not be able to leave Cyrodiil.

Edit to clarify: The PVP characters made at VR1 would have all skill points awarded to them for levels 1-50. Only points awarded for levels, not questing.

I don't understand why one would pay a subscription to play a game and then want to pay more in order to not play the content. Somethin' wrong in the logic here.

    No logic fail at all.

Games are meant to be fun. In this case the OP finds levelling alts not fun. So paying their $15 a month to do something they don't enjoy would in fact be illogical.

Paying to avoid doing something they don't enjoy in order to get what they want makes perfect sense.

I think the failure is in design - not just ESO, though but MMOs in general. There are various motivators (eg. classes and the skill point cap) to create and have levelled alts but lots of people get reduced or no enjoyment from repeating content.

Awesome. Encourage ZOS to make horrible grindy content so they can charge us to avoid it.

This actually does seem kind of reasonable to me. If you've played completely through the content once then it's pretty safe to say you know whether or not you want to do it again and that you know what parts of the game actually appeal to you. I look at it kind of like how you can skip the initial Coldharbor tutorial after you've done it once. Me, I still have a lot of PvE exploring to do and I HOPE they will be smart enough to keep designing new and interesting quests at Vet levels as well. But for those who are here pretty much only for the PvP, I say go ahead and let them have it.

You should just need to reach VR1 if you want to skip the leveling story and make another VR1 char. Especially if you ran alts through all 3 faction stories 1-50. Is Z planning to make new 1-50 content?

You have friends over at Goldah. I would link it for you but don't want to get [snip]ed. :)

So why not go to Cyrodiil at L10 and live there forever? Test your survival skills or are you just looking for a quick and easy route for that emperor title? I have news for you, people are going to be in your way and they will not take kindly to your ambitions.

Also from my daily experiences, I know that having a vr14 doesn't really mean you know your class or the game, at all. The number of vr14s who "stand in the red" in PvP and PvE is astonishing.

These are players who've "earned" their rank by grinding bosses in Craglorn, not by soloing 5-7 mobs over and over and over again. It makes a difference.

Since much of one's skill improvement occurs during the Vet levels I don't understand why a serious player would want to be a V14 that can be killed by a couple of V5 mudcrabs.

    This.

The problem with this "buy me a vet toon" thing is that these aren't serious players at all. They're the new "casuals:" people who just want to pay to get to the "good" stuff, and when they get there, suck so horribly at it that they're a laughingstock.

It boils down to this: to get skills, you gotta pay your dues.

I am V14, I have the skills, I paid my dues.

Yes you have, assuming you got there by questing, trials, and PvP, and not by boss farming in Craglorn. I'm obviously talking about those who ground their way to VR14 using the "quick" method. I have nothing but admiration for players who came up the hard way.
