[*] Lack of end game Dont rush content in this NEW game
[*] 15 minute long 'raids' Game is still new. Dont get mad you rushed content.
[*] Inventory GUI is horrible Same as every other ES game
[*] Rapid Gear Decay.Lol...dtop dieing
[*] megaserver/phasing/sharding system better than having ghost servers
[*] Lack of an real open worldIn other more open MMO's you still are subjected to your lvl range.
[*] not seeing enemy players due to them not loaded on your screenStop playing on Wabbalag
[*] No underwater swimmingWould be pointless.
[*] No housingRoad to come, not a big issue. jsut another time sink.
[*] No options for floating namesTheres a mod for it.
[*] No way to preview gear on your character before actually equipping it.Google is awesome
I'm not normally a quitter, but I have to admit that thought is bouncing round in my head. When Blizzard, Trion, CCP said they were going to fix things, I never found myself doubting that. I don't have that confidence in Zenimax !
Honestly... I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel. Like I said I'm not ready to quit yet. I'd still consider renewing my sub (maybe reduced from a 90 day to a 30 day though) Or maybe it's just time to take a break?
Ah well, that's my thoughts thrown out there. (feel free to Rage, Flame or Comment)
Seems like the less employees game has, the better job it does lol..
Trion - 200 employees
Zenimax Online - 250 employees
Blizzard Entertainment - 4700 employees
I'll agree with you only about Trion.
Blizzard and I go way back, and I for one know very well WoW is far from being a polished game, never was and never will be. (Looking at you bugged Wrath quests, even though it's been 5 years since then)
If I take out their horrible graphics art, I can begin with their PvP, it's one of the worst in the whole genre, they promised fixing and balancing it for 10 years straight (Yep empty promises, the last expansion had worst balance since the vanilla days).
But fine if I take PvP out of that game as well, all we have left is PvE and that is only one thing - Raids.
Exploration is non-existent, quest and profession system is crappy at best. There are only 2 things Blizzard does well Marketing and Raid System, all other things are average or beyond average.
ESO might not be all I wanted it to be, most of the time I feel like there are many things still missing from the game. But I can't get past the fact how rich detailed worlds are, they feel incredibly alive and immersive, something I never experienced in any other MMO..
I think people thought they would get whole Tamriel since Day 1, I think they don't understand it takes 10 Skyrim games to get that done, it's that huge. Perhaps in the future we will get all that, as for now I'm very happy which direction this game is heading too.

I'm coming to the realisation that most people complaining don't really know what they were talking about when they even discuss teso and it's set up.
I'm an old veteran from vanilla and was a hardcore raider for a long year . I will repeat what people used to reply to these threads.
Have you completed cadwell journal ,
Have you completed all the solo Dungeouns
Have you completed all public Dungeouns
Have you cleared world bosses and dolmens
Have you completed vet Dungeouns
Have you done a trial or experienced that
Have you grouped in large scale PvP
Have you maxed out your guilds so that you have access to a few hundred online guildies
Until you have done all of these than you haven't experienced the game. The game begins at v1 not v12. Don't cry about being unable to skip all the content to trials this isn't wow
Now for WoW these are your choices
Boring faceroll quests that 9 yr olds can solo
Faceroll Dungeouns that you can sleep through
To level cap
Grind honor to get your gear grind arena to improve it
Spam LFR to faceroll raids ina toxic environment to gear up
Hit up flex instead if you can in a toxic environment
Join a raid team - do that over and over
Join a heroic team - maybe hit upper levels of gear .
That's a grind rest - but very different we need to stop with the blizzard mentality
My main issue with the game is that they still have not fixed the Mac Memory Bleed bug. Other than that I enjoy everything else about it. Although I am just breaking into Vet content. I have heard that it gets ludicrous around V6

There is a fix for the Mac Memory Bleed Bug. It is called PC.

lol
Ironically, the game runs longer without crashing on the Mac OS side of my Mac Pro than on the Windows 7 side. Then again, it's a dual-processor system, and ESO isn't friendly to dual-processors.

- The power gap between levels in Cyrodiil.
Not everyone plays the game for PvP- Lack of end game
Typically, MMO's never really "end".- lack of a real auction house.
While I agree with the sentiment, it's not a game breaking thing.- Near empty PvP / The pvp is the most badly designed pvp i have ever played.
In EVER single MMORPG this statement is made on the game's forums by someone. When will people learn(this includes game developers) that PvP is not meant for RPG's. Keep it in the FPS and RTS and MOBA's.- Lack of feedback from devs
Not sure how much skooma you've been doing, but I've seen plenty of feedback.- impossible to find any roleplay because of the way the phasing system works
Again, not sure what game you've been playing. I've stumbled across several open world encounters.- Bugs/crashes
The only time I came across bugs in this game was during closed beta stress tests and shortly after launch. The game has to date....never crashed for me. I'd look at the mods you're running or perhaps software conflicts rather than blame the game.- class balance is utter crap.
If all classes should perform the same...why make more than one?- 5 guilds system sucks
This I do agree with. I'm not much of a guild person though, to be honest.- Inventory GUI is horrible
I have no problems with it. This is more likely a personal taste issue than a game design flaw.- being forced into solo play quests
Another thing I agree with. Rather than force solo play -in any form-....it should always be an option in an MMO.- No way of changing skill morphs without a full respec. Also, crazy respec cost.
Another thing I agree with. We should be able to respec as far back as we want to, instead of being forced to start all over from the beginning.- 15 minute long 'raids'
Another personal taste issue. Plenty of other games have "raids" that last longer than fifteen minutes. Just because -you- have ADD doesn't make this a game flaw.- Alchemy... just all of it... the fact that only 3 potions are of any real benefit, the fact that 2 completely different potions have the same name just because their 1st effect on the list is the same, the small amount of reagents...
Another personal taste issue.- Lag
I've never experienced lag.- Rapid Gear Decay.
Personal taste issue.- Overall direction of game
Personal taste issue.- Reasoning behind changing things because of bots
You'd rather they just let them proliferate and thrive instead of changing things so they aren't viable?- megaserver/phasing/sharding system
Personal taste issue. Although I'm not fond of it either, I've adapted and overcame the problems it comes with.- VR1 - VR12 Farming (Anomaly, Balmath etc)
I cannot comment on content I've not yet experienced. Keep in mind I'm not racing to the "endgame" content as well. I've been playing since release and STILL haven't gotten to VR content.- Broke abilities and passives
I've not encountered these "broken" abilities and passives in my gameplay.- intimidate/persuade but it does not translate to the other players choice if they cannot select it...
Buhwha? I'm not even sure what you're trying to say here.- instances of grouping are sometimes not working
- Bad grouping tools
Redundant much? The public instance nature of the entire game does not -promote- grouping, therefore grouping tools are not really needed.- Memory leak problems
With 9 gigs of RAM, I've never come across any "memory leak" problems.- the 'quick'slot system designed for consoles
Another personal taste issue. While I don't play on a console...I've got no problems with the system.- Tiny banks / Inventory space minigame taking about 25% of my play time
More personal taste issues.- guild store gui is bad /guild store does not work
Seriously. Personal taste issues.- Unresponsive combat
More personal taste issues. Combat is just fine for me.- the lack of direction and interaction from/with the devs
More redundant repetition of gripes. I'll answer the same as above. I don't know how much skooma you're consuming, but I've seen plenty of interaction from devs.- Bad guild banks option
Personal taste issue.- Lack of an real open world
You really need to lay off the skooma. This world is massive compared to the other MMO's out there right now.- not seeing enemy players due to them not loaded on your screen
Can't comment on this, as I don't engage in PvP.- Can't reply in mail
Skooma. It's bad for you. Learn to use the UI.- No dueling
This is a good thing. I'll call this another personal taste issue, rather than expound upon the vices of single combat with other players.- poor atrocity that is VR leveling. / would like to see more possibilities to level from v1 to v12.
No comments on content I've not experienced yet.- No underwater swimming
Another thing I agree with. However, it's not game breaking.- No law system
Personal taste issue. I can see whatever Zenimax implements either not being good enough or being abused to the point of griefing other players. Thank god there's not something currently in place.- I don't like the part where I can't login for 4 days because of Error 301.
I'm sure I wouldn't like it either, if I'd ever had this "Error 301" problem. I've never had any problems launching or logging into or playing the game.- No housing
I agree with this one. Would like to see player housing, but it's a personal taste issue, not a game design issue. At least -I- can distinguish between the two.- Lack of user friendly GUI
Personal taste issue.- No options for floating names
Personal taste issue. I hate floaty names and am glad they're not in the game.- No way to preview gear on your character before actually equipping it.
While it would be a nice thing to have, it's a personal taste issue again.

You are right. This is the entire problem... Oh wait it isn't the entire problem until you include the point that the game is so poor in so many aspects that nobody wants to do anything you listed to completion.
Most of my posts are negative about this game. You can make me angry or sad and I will get over it but I find it very, very hard to get over something that simply disappoints me. It's a character flaw I admit.
Soo much potential wasted with bollocks game mechanics, a UI only made moderately functional with addons and generally lacklustre content. Such a pity.
For every guy like this who sees the sky falling, there are 50 players *playing* who are thoroughly enjoying the experience. They don't stop to post "this game is great", they just play.
My main issue with the game is that they still have not fixed the Mac Memory Bleed bug. Other than that I enjoy everything else about it. Although I am just breaking into Vet content. I have heard that it gets ludicrous around V6

"I think people just complain just to complain"
Yeah, no problems I can find.
Considering most of your "problems" are personal taste issues.....yeah. People complain just to complain.

There's nothing.....I think people just complain just to complain about pointless things...
It's too hard for them and they can't adapt from the other mmos to this one so they're going back to where they feel comfortable.
Yeah, I'm sure it's just the adapt thing you mentioned. What else could it be?
- The power gap between levels in Cyrodiil.
- Lack of end game
- lack of a real auction house.
- Near empty PvP / The pvp is the most badly designed pvp i have ever played.
- Lack of feedback from devs
- impossible to find any roleplay because of the way the phasing system works
- Bugs/crashes
- class balance is utter crap.
- 5 guilds system sucks
- Inventory GUI is horrible
- being forced into solo play quests
- No way of changing skill morphs without a full respec. Also, crazy respec cost.
- 15 minute long 'raids'
- Alchemy... just all of it... the fact that only 3 potions are of any real benefit, the fact that 2 completely different potions have the same name just because their 1st effect on the list is the same, the small amount of reagents...
- Lag
- Rapid Gear Decay.
- Overall direction of game
- Reasoning behind changing things because of bots
- megaserver/phasing/sharding system
- VR1 - VR12 Farming (Anomaly, Balmath etc)
- Broke abilities and passives
- intimidate/persuade but it does not translate to the other players choice if they cannot select it...
- instances of grouping are sometimes not working
- Memory leak problems
- Bad grouping tools
- the 'quick'slot system designed for consoles
- Tiny banks / Inventory space minigame taking about 25% of my play time
- guild store gui is bad /guild store does not work
- Unresponsive combat
- the lack of direction and interaction from/with the devs
- Bad guild banks options
- Lack of an real open world
- not seeing enemy players due to them not loaded on your screen
- Can't reply in mail
- No dueling
- poor atrocity that is VR leveling. / would like to see more possibilities to level from v1 to v12.
- No underwater swimming
- No law system
- I don't like the part where I can't login for 4 days because of Error 301.
- No housing
- Lack of user friendly GUI
- No options for floating names
- No way to preview gear on your character before actually equipping it.
"I think people just complain just to complain"
Yeah, no problems I can find.
Those are just your opinions, not everyone dislikes most of what you listed.

I can't even say that I'm eagerly awaiting Monday's fix. Honestly.. my main thought about Monday is "What else are they going to break?"
...
I never have that problem .. right now I have 6 'current' MMOs I play, usually at least once a week and many every day or other day or two.Just realised (not that I'd actually forgotten) I have next week off work. Think this may be the first time I have time off and have zero plans to play my 'current' MMO.
