Campaign camped by one Vampire DK Emperor

In one sentence, tell me exactly how vampire is overpowered.

Another thing, that particular DK emperor would probably be able to pull that off as a non-emp to some extent. A lot of DK's have builds that can take abuse and dish out damage at the same time. Being an emperor magnifies the ability to not die from things like that several fold.

If you ask me there are just way too many item sets and 'usable by all abilities' that specifically aid these builds too well.

An example of how awesome this combo makes people think they are is as follows: my guild group were off on the Pact side of the map attacking a scroll group, holding them up and generally farming them. Then this Covenant Emperor (DK+Vamp) comes all the way to the other side of the map ALONE thinking they could take us out. Needless to say they died, many times and eventually gave up.

But the fact that the player even thought they stood a chance against an entire scroll zerg and an organised group attacking them speaks volumes about how over-powered the combination is.

Yes, vampire/vampire dk groups do not even think twice about attacking groups many times their size. No hesitation, no fear and most of the time, they win.

There may be something to this post, I don't think you intended to put in. An accidental insight into your "problem" reread it a few times.

No they don't, DK is balanced. Unless we are going to nerf stick&dress sorcs, with their huge magicka buffs and light armor damage mitigation that acts like plate armor? You need to L2P. It is just that simple.

This problem was most definitely not resolved in the last patch. Sunday night on Hopesfire, 3 players, 2 of them DKs. Managed to enter a keep using DK abilities, literally fly up onto the outer keep wall, then from the outer keep wall onto the top of the inner keep, kill everyone in a group of at least 12 players, all the guards at the flags and take the keep. They did this without using any siege or knocking down any walls. I hid and watched the whole thing and reported them. I am not sure if they were actually breaking any rules or using any exploits.

Yes. That happened. I blame the Internet for giving these people a public forum. DK is not the problem. One forum over everyone is crying about Sorcs. When they fix NB, I am sure the world's problems will be their fault.

The real answer of course, is "Learn to Play".

He wasn't a vampire. The DK this post was written about, had a crew. I ran with him. He was a vamp for like a week. Dropped that *** cuz it made he weaker. This post was posted a while after he went back to being normal. So the vamp dk combination wasn't the problem. He was just a good player. He doesn't play anymore but hats off to Murder Thumbs. One of the first DK s to know how to kick ass in large proportions. Although he was a lil bit of a ***. haha. But most good players are.

All i can say OP is l2p, I read the first page, and I seen that you constantly combated every persons attempts to help you, so come to the end of this epic whining thread and I see its still ongoing.

Your pvp grp and yourself, no offence, are low skilled, if you cant take one enemy emp by himself with no backup.

Not long ago on Azura`s, fair enough I was the last one standing in a group of 8 of us, but I managed to kill a DC Templar Emp, after we killed all his backup, and yeah it was difficult, but its manageable.

I'm the DC Templar EMP your talking about, There is not a holy hells chance of you killing me as the last 2 people standing. I probably disconnected.

Well wasn`t gonna name names, but since u said, really?, as you were weaving about in circles, spamming your blazing bs and batwswarm, and you most defo were not disconnected, and my group wiped your group out, you were the last one standing, then you wiped out my lot, and they put a massive amount of damage in, I just finished you off, you did not disconnect.

Just saying..
