The game isnt allowed in CHina for one because of undead. The chinese have culture laws that prevent depicting honored ancesters in negative ways, ie skeletons/zombies. Zenimax would have to redesign the game for a chinese market.
So its the look and setting lol. What hapened with warcraft in china? Very popular+ has undead, will travel.
Yes the chinese are very strict on cultural identity laws. If only the US was lol.Thechemicals wrote: »Ragnar_Lodbrok wrote: »Thechemicals wrote: »I am not certain but i believe the asian market might not exist because of the look and setting of this game.

The undead in chinese WoW have been modified to not resemble... undead

The reason why experienced mmo'ers watch WoW subscriber numbers is to gauge how much money WoW makes. In the end, that will determine how much money Blizzard can put back into game development, network and customer support and still pay off their stockholders.
That's why size does matter.

Sorry, but there is only one, me. The rest of you are figments of your imagination.

Wouldn't we be figments of your imagination?

And an even fairer amount of fanboys keeping the game in a state without progress.
Yeah please timebandit, explain how "fanbois" are blocking the game progress? I haven't seen anyone telling the devs not to fix bugs.
?

I would surmise the thought goes like this:
If they are fixing bugs, then they aren't working on new content. Therefore progress is being blocked.
which of course is false, since the people fixing bugs aren't the same people working on new content.

In my opinion I'd guess 4 times the people got the digital as got the physical. So that means they sold about 1.5 million copies. How many of those stick around after the first month is anyone's guess.

Didn't you know that the devs don't actually pay attention to bug reports, but just come to this forum and decide which bugs to fix based on how angry and filled with hyperbole the posts are?

Which leads me to how people like you hurt the game. You short circuit the feedback process by attacking and trying to silence anyone with criticism. Every thread gets derailed.

Few of the threads on this forum could accurately be called constructive feedback. Certainly I've seen few posts from you that are such.

That would explain a lot, unfortunately many of those have made the jump to MMOs from CS or TF through WoW (the CoD of MMOs)
You are one of "those". Few, if any, have insulted more people on this forum than you. You get really nasty and call people names all the time.

Anyways, if you want to do that, fine. Just don't try to take the high road after.
