Would like to know it to. Sub numbers that is, not box sales.
looks like Box Sales have been good, but also no hard numbers available.

Maybe it isn't that big a deal yet for eso since the game is mostly single player mode with the phasing design in pve and the zerg mode in pvp.

WoW reported they had 7.6 million subscribers on March 31 which was 0.2 million lower than on December 31. That is a pretty good number considering the Mist of Pandaria expansion is 18 months into a two year expansion pack cycle.

And an even fairer amount of fanboys keeping the game in a state without progress.

Only ZO knows this.
As for Blizz, there are many people with 5 or more accounts, almost everyone I know has at least two, plus the amount of Asians and bots so yes the numbers are very high, but they don't really translate into success or actual human players. I would guess there might be 2-3 Mio still playing WoW which is still a lot, but there are F2P´s with a lot more.

I don't agree with you on that. Blizzard said in the past that Asian players were more than half of the subscriber base. So if that trend hasn't changed, there are around 2-3 million WoW players in North America/Latin America/Oceanic and Europe. The rest are in Asia, in China and South Korea. There is no WoW megaserver so the WoW player base is separated into different servers based on geography. European WoW players are on servers in Europe, the Chinese play on servers in China, and the Koreans play on servers in Korea.

ESO has been out for a month... a singular month, in that month they have made some obvious progress.timebandit_b16_ESO wrote: »EinionYrthb16_ESO wrote: »

The game isnt allowed in CHina for one because of undead. The chinese have culture laws that prevent depicting honored ancesters in negative ways, ie skeletons/zombies. Zenimax would have to redesign the game for a chinese market.
