ZOS have zero legal weight against Chinese-based organisations, their only defense was to design the server software to be resistant to botting .. instead, from the massive botting problem we see with many bot variations the game seems to be defenseless.wenxue2222b16_ESO wrote: »I know these outfits are not based in the US but Zenimax needs to throw as much legal weight as possible at them because they are making their filthy money from the hard work that went into making this game - hard work they had nothing to do with.
I found something funny as well. If you are around some bots, start typing words like GM, report, and bots. I noticed that they sometimes instantly vanish. Most likely a defense to get their asses out of there before the GM pokes their heads in.

Shutting down inter account gold transfers and flagging any suspiciously large, defined as a multiple of the vendor price, store transaction so as to stop gold delivery that way would be good.
But meanwhile it is great to see this.
A guy got banned for doing just that, it took his GF many days posting on here before ZOS_Jessica took up the case and got her BF un-banned .. so ZOS have form for banning just what you want to do.I would hate for it to be impossible to hand my husband a little gold
You do realise that can (possibly always is) caused by the phasing system where the node is visible in all phases so it's another player farming it. I've seen that three times where a player has phased out and a node he was running to disappeared a few seconds later.Gigglesnort wrote: »I hope they do something about these "invisible" node farmers. Yesterday had 4 nodes disappear in front of me as I was just getting in reach of it.

There' are two such nodes in Bleakrock for example which is literally 5 or so steps from a phase-line.
Yeah, I was leveling one of my alts (from level 10) in Auridon yesterday and in one of the dungeons I found myself facing the boss entirely alone... It was actually a good & somewhat challenging fight! I didn't get a blue loot item at the end of that fight, so I hung around and waited for a respawn, by which time one other player had come by and we took him down together. I got my blue, and left. It was great - it felt like the way a dungeon should play.I was shocked yesterday to find 4 boss spots that were completely empty.

I'm glad you saw some results. When reported a bunch of bots in same zone, I came back over an hour later and they were all still there. At least I now know that it does make a difference in the open world on occasion.Just Report every bot you come along, its fast and you can do it in under one minute, approach bot, press F, choose report player.
While i was leveling yesterday in Stonefalls i reported around 12 Bots over multiple hours near Vivecs Antlers. They Dissapeared soon after Reporting
