Today i have encountered many loading screens that don't stop loading.

Before the last patch I had the issue very rarely, but it did occur very occasionally. During the 5-day early access period I also had this for a couple of hours, but then got resolved after the servers where restarted in maintenance. Currently I'm facing this issue close to everytime. As a matter of fact, just a minute ago I wanted to enter the harborage to continue the mainquest and it dropped me again with an infinite loading screen.

Oddly enough, my girlfriend who is literally right next to me, does not have the issue at all, or at least very rarely.

My windows install is a completely clean install of Windows 7 ultimate, barely 3 weeks old and installed with all of the latest drivers.

There has rarely been instances where loading times were working "as intended" since the last weekend before launch (beta) where it was like butter. There is a ton of timeouts and latency when client is trying to retrieve gamestate from server (i'm assuming). However since this last patch I'm having issues even logging into a character (i get to character selection just fine), it certainly seems to be degrading.

Error 303 for days.

This is completely new for me since patch. If i alt+f4 and restart the game it'll load, but of course that's not a real fix. It doesn't happen on every load screen, but at least 40 percent of the time (estimated).

First time for me stuck on a forever loading screen trying to exit after defeating the boss in Wyrd Tree quest. OMG I hope I don't have to do it again .... WTB a healer. LOL

Got any addons? They may need to be updated after the most recent patch. I was having long loading screen delays but after updating the lootdrop addon, they went back to normal speeds.

Lol .. managed to get a broken quest working (after 2 days of not being able to progress) .. advanced a little bit on the quest chain, maybe 20 minutes of gameplay .. then infinite loading screen kicks in entering Hectahame Grotto, and when I try to log back in after ctrl+alt+delete I get an 'error 301' about excessive log-ins.

.. what a joke ..

Happened prior but much much less than the infinite loading screen bug that currently afflicts TESO.

In case yall didn't notice, this happens every weekend and is caused by an overload of server resources during the most popular play hours, including weekends. The servers are not able to send the loading data to all players at the same time quickly.

I have been noticing this a lot. It seems to happen when I am going from a dungeon to the outside world. Sometimes the other way round and sometimes houses. But Nearly everytime I go to leave a dungeon first and sometimes second try of leaving I get a loading screen that goes on forever.

I can't say its only happened since the last patch but it has become a bigger issue since then and far more noticable. Once or twice an hour it doesn't register but every time and you start to notice these things.

It's the latest patch that seems to be causing this.

SO now in every place where I get a loading screen in Glenumbra I have to log off and on to get passed it, except...... now I can't log in! Please sort this out.

I barely had any of these before the most recent patch. Had several of them today alone.

Actually had the failed to transfer error a lot more since the patch also. I'm assuming this is almost the same issue though

One thing i also noticed is that after the patch i sometimes cant use wayshrines and i never had this issue before either

Similar to the OP, I'm having difficulties when loading into a new zone. This is a "new" issue for me ( I'm on the NA Mega server ) that is occurring within the last day or two at best. I walk to a zone entrance, click "e" to enter, then sit there and watch the "loading" screen cycle. I've waited for roughly 10 minutes on a couple occasions now, then finally reset the client to login again. Uncertain what changed between the last patch and now that would affect this, however, it is somewhat of an issue as finding a dungeon group can take a good amount of time as it is. Finally getting one together only to crash on zone load is somewhat frustrating at best.

p.s. Love the game.... and am fully aware that it will go through hiccups the first couple months until the rough edges are smoothed out. Just wanted to throw my 2 cents worth in.

1.) Yes, this is happening across all of my characters
2.) Character select screen doesn't seem to be a problem
3.) It appears to be a problem when zoning into a public dungeon or instanced area for a quest. However, today I'm stuck (right now) at a loading screen when wayshrining into Eastmarch from Shadowfen.
4.) This is questionable. Sometimes after about 4 or 5 relogs it finally works, so maybe it's an instance issue? This is speculative.

I've only experienced this once before patch 1.0.4, and that was the night (I think it was on a Saturday) that they took the servers down for long maintenance because it was such a problem for everyone. No issues since then until this patch. Now it's very consistent.

Edit: Also forgot to mention. The only way out of the loading screen for me is to kill the ESO process via task manager and relog in.

Edit #2: I guess I spoke too soon for item 2 above. After taking a lunch break, I am now sitting at a loading after login trying to get to the character select screen. Been about 10 minutes on the loading screen as of this writing.

Had the problem occasionally but now it's every hour or so. Trying to go through doors into dungeons can also go to a short loading screen before chucking you back to the entrance with a message about not being able to load the zone.

Yes, but not as much as after it.

Yeah my group and I also encountered a lot of loading screen bugs today..
We all just alt+f4 and get back in, but it's really annoying.

Mostly in shadowfen , the lower level maps were ok , at least for me it began with the latest patch

1. I move my items a lot between my chars and have experienced this on more than one of them.
2. Yes. Many times it happened while I was changing zones.
3. Many different zones. Last one was while I was trying to get out of dungeon.
4. Yes. But it depends for how long.

I'm in a 5 minute plus load screen for Glenumbra right now. This happens every weekend. I rarely have long load screens during the week.

No particular zone. Happened to me when using wayshrine in eastmarch

Haven't tried that yet. I'm still sitting at the loading screen trying to get to get from one Eastmarch Wayshrine to another. Been waiting over 5 minutes now.

Only have one character so not sure.
Yes after ctrl alt del and ending task and reloading game, I'm able to get back in.
Happening in vet zones in glenumbra and stormhaven seems kinda random but mostly after exiting a dungeon back into glenumbra or stormhaven.
Yes I'm able to get back in, but annoying to have to keep restarting when it happens.

1.Got only one character so far.
2.Yes, it happens when zoning in and out of dungeons.
3.Grathwood at the moment, it happened in many occasions, in different dungeons.
4.Restarting helps, i noticed that if i disable some visual effects, like siphoning strikes, i zone faster.
