This may not be everyone's list, but based on recent threads, and some personal bias, I've compiled a top ten patch list that I think would be real crowd pleasers. Feel free to post your top ten if you disagree!
1. The Bank
The infamous resetting bank, and the many lost items and gold. We'd love it if the expansions we buy for the bank stay, and the items we put in there are safe. We notice this
thread says the fix "Will not be retroactive". As many of us have been promised in no uncertain terms that there will be restitution, we hope you just mean the fix won't include the restitution, but that will still come later.
*UPDATE
Patch 1.04 - April 18th says this is now fixed. Who wants to be the test guinea pig?
April 19 - I was contacted by a GM who restored my lost gold from the bank glitch. Thank you! He said they feel the glitch is now fixed and it's safe to re-buy the upgrades as per yesterday's patch 1.04
2. The Launcher
In the last couple of patches, thousands of people were locked out and/or forced to completely reload the game client, due to launcher errors, and some still are. Whether losing track of which update is being patched, breaking during the repair process, or the now infamous 209 errors, we'd love it if the launcher became robust enough to patch properly.
*UPDATE
Patch 1.04 - April 18th didn't seem to have any major launcher issues. Well done!
3. The Main Story Line Quests
Are sadly still broken in many places, and frustrating the heck out of people. There are quests you can safely ignore for a while, but these are not them.
For example:
Message Across Tamriel or
Reaper's March
*UPDATE - April 21
Patch 1.05 - Appears to address a LOT of this. Any comments from players? Are there still some outstanding main storyline quests not working?
4. The Gold Seller Spam
We're getting spammed all day, every day, in every channel, through false guild invites, in game mail, and of course constantly in the chat. You have said you are serious about fixing it
here, but we are all wondering why you haven't just appointed mods to real time ban them, as it happens, because we think this would be way more efficient than creating millions of tickets with player reports. One day maybe you come up with a filter that blocks them, but for now, why not hit them where it hurts and rapidly ban those accounts over and over and over, until they give up! (PS We'd also love to be able to greatly increase our ignore limit from 100, to say 1000, if that is possible without massively lagging the game. 100 is not nearly enough)
PS How hard would it be for you to stop them posting in rainbow colors? In fact, stop EVERYONE from posting in rainbow colors??? Must I go blind in addition to being driven mad?
5. The Teleporting-Wall Hacking-Invisible-Bot-Cheaters
You have simply got to get a handle on this right now, as it destroys major aspects of the game. It's already affecting Resource Collection, PvP and causing you to expend resources re-working your end dungeon Bosses, which were frankly, the only good thing about your public dungeons. (that you could hang there for a few bosses and collect some Soul Shards, Health Pots or Weapons/Armor to deconstruct or sell). Instead of stopping the bots, you're allowing them to force you to change something that legitimate players enjoyed. We think that sucks, and hope you come up with a better solution.
Multi-Boxing, Gold Account/Farmer BotsZOS Thread - Taking action against Cheaters6. Falling Through The World
By now we all (mostly) know we can port out or /stuck to get out, most of the time, but we hope it's a priority to stop the falling from happening, as it's a real buzz kill in terms of immersion.
7. The Fleecing of the Sheep (Vampire/Werewolf Quests)
We should not be required to pay an enormous fee to another player, in order to become a werewolf or vampire, just because we chose not to speed level and participate in monopolizing the spawns. See this
thread.
Note: Once this practice is stopped, it would be great if both the
Vampire and
Werewolf skill trees worked. They are massively broken.
8. The Guild Store
Sucks. Well let me elaborate on that and say, it sucks in the worst possible way you can possibly suck. It's just plain awful. It's universally hated. See
this thread, and
this one. Now you can either A) Fix the search interface so that item searches can become FAR more specific, and ideally be done by text search as well or;

Publicly acknowledge that this is the most hated trading solution of all time, and seek player input as to what should replace it.
9. Inventory Management (is NOT so fun)
Right now your login servers are getting an enormous amount of traffic from endless relogins, as crafters like me, have been forced, by terribly limited bank space, and the resetting bank bug, to create multiple "mule" characters for all their stuff. On each of these "mules", we have to get very specific about what we store, to maximize the storage space. So when our adventurers return to the bank with a variety of loot, many of them are then doing a 5 to 7 mule login/logout merry go round to shuffle said loot to mule storage. In addition, some are using the email a friend solution, heavily clogging up your email database with gazillions of emails, specifically being used as temporary 30 day storage.
Until a better solution is found, it would be great if ALL character inventories were accessible at the bank, by any character without relogging multiple times, and if gold worked like the rest of your materials, where if we have it in the bank, any character can spend/use from the pool while out adventuring. Transferring gold to multiple characters, every 20 hours or so, just to upgrade my 6 horses, is REALLY NOT FUN.
10. Buffs, Debuffs, Mana & Stamina
We really don't understand why you don't want us to be able to see our buffs, debuffs, mana and stamina for ourselves, and for our group, in real time, during combat. Surely you don't actually expect us to be able to siphon through the graphic effects on characters in a major battle that ends up looking like chaos most all of the time? Surely it's reasonable to know when your healer is running out of mana, so you can pop a health potion? Show us that your really do love groups and want to encourage grouping and return this rather rudimentary and required group information.
11. "Neither a Borrower Nor a Lender Be!" (ok it's now a top 11)

Please add new voiceover options to allow the disabling and/or lowering of volume specific to BANKERS and GENERAL AREA NPC COMMENTS. It was really nice of them to tell us their little stories, and even sing our praises, but now we just want to rip out their vocal chords and boil them in oil. Speaking for myself, there is something about that Daggerfall Banker Lady, who says "Have you ever heard the saying, neither a borrower or a lender be" that makes me want to tear my ears off. That voice, needs to go... so please make a slider/checkbox, even a registry patch.. I'll take anything... just let me QUIET THE VOICES!!!!
*UPDATE - April 18, 2014
Borrower and Lender Mod - A Possible fix? (I haven't tested it yet)
