Just checking: For me the earring showed up in inventory under quest tab, I had to actually 'use' the item before the quest progressed though and hadn't realised this originally...Seemed odd as most quest items just 'work' with no need for the extra step. If it just isn't in the quest tab I apologise for suggesting you might have overlooked it the same as I did.

I spend a whole day at the puzzle yesterday with different groups and don't know if it is bugged(EU server),some people think it is.If so,could you let us know.Thank you.

Hi all. I noticed in the patch notes that they added a fix for the nightblade abilities becoming unresponsive in combat. Well I hate to say that its not fixed on my nightblade. I still have to open the map to get them active when I lose all control. It is very frustrating to me it seems like Im gonna be paying for Beta of which it really looks like this game needed to be in for a few more months with so many things that don't work in it.

It looks like you're the one doing the whining. It's a brand new game, it's got bugs. Report them and wait til they fix them.

Lots of games that have been out for 5+ years that still have bugs. Deal with it.

I'm just here to show my support. They are aware of issues, they're working it, they're not going to fix every single thing in a single patch. Complaining about something not being fixed in a minor patch isn't going to get it fixed any faster.

Having an issue with a quest at the moment, a mage guild quest called Simply Misplaced. I am not sure its the quest in itself or some other problem since the patch but every time I try to get through it I get kicked out of the game at some point (always some time during the quest).

It wouldn't have bothered me extremely much since I can just log back on, but the whole quest occurs through a series of portals on Shivering Isles and I always logs back on outside of the quest area back in Tamriel being forced to reenter the portal and redo the entire quest.

The items I recieved from killing monsters inside is still with me, but the quest itself has to be redone.

But then again, maybe the server is unstable tonight and I just happen to try this quest each time I get kicked. Never been kicked before this quest though.

EDIT: Waited 24 hours and now I could finish the quest with no problems, it was probably just unstable server after patch.

Hopefully this one gets fixed soon. I have a problem with moving on since I've already started the quest (OCD). Until then, I will just continue to dance on the table and do nothing else (also OCD).

Also, please remove some of the cracks in the roads. My horse refuses to jump over them all and my mother already has a bad back (OCD).

"Knowledge Gained" quest from the Mages Guild is bugged. Have done Selene's Web twice without any progression, stuck on "search for signs of Selene", have been able to kill Selene but no progression or completion.

Thanks to Muggy for the advice on "The Colovian Occupation", the fact there is a quest pointer to a location asking you to "wear the earring" is a misnomer, I'll try your advice tonight but would still suggest it's bugged if it a) doesn't tell you the earring has been placed in your inventory b) has a pointer to a location for a task that requires use of something in your inventory. Not major but im sure im not the only one.

a small update on "The lost city of Na-Totambu group challenge puzzle"
It appears this is actually achievable quite easily when there has been a server reset.
But after it is completed 1 time the button on the wall was no longer interactable
Neither for people arriving at the spot after we completed it.
So perhaps this challenge does not reset properly

Then I also managed to trigger the bug on my templar that non of the skill work anymore(found it odd that it happened alot on my templar)
I managed to trigger it several times in less than a minute,had to /reloadui several times because of it.
So you are not supposed to be able to cast reflective light of the dawn's wrath line without specific target(s)?
because when i try to cast it on a hill and there is no mob it sometimes goes off(maybe because there is a mob behind the hill)
I think it doesn't neccesarily have to be on a hill,because it also happened on flat area's
but there is ofcourse no animation to the skill when it goes off with no target(s)(the animation seems to start but gets interrupted after a second)
In this manner the skill reflective light has been able to trigger this disabling bug several times for me in less than a minute
Hope that helps,perhaps for others to test this as well

Maybe the skillbar disabling bug is able to be triggered with other skills too if they are cast without target?
Maybe it is a target focus issue that freezes the whole skillbar?

After completing the quest Striking at the Heart in Greenshade, I am stuck in the shadow realm viewpoint (drab and gray). What can be done to fix this? It is not enjoyable to me to play in this manner.

This isn't an issue with eso. Spammers get your information by using harvesting software. You could cancel your account and be wiped from the face of the game, but you still receive spam email since your email is now associated with eso. Any word on how the Super Secret Special Team is doing on fixing the Cyrodiil Grouping Bug? Must be secret since it is almost impossible to get a single answer or mention of it from any one at Zeni.

Disclaimer: He never mentioned anything about a group working on it in the last email...just more Customer Support deception

As for the skillbar disabling bug,I died once today because of it but I discovered that when you open/close inventory,all skills are able to be casts again.
Wondering if it is the targeting that loses focus now somehow

One thing that should be priority and did not see it on the list. The constant falling through the world bug. I have talked to friends of mine and even guild mates, all noted they have at one time or another experienced this bug. I can not go without 20 minutes without encountering it. It makes it hard to play for myself, a bit annoying, but trusting it'll be fixed eventually. Yet reading that priority list did not see it there. This honestly should be on it. Falling through the world is neither minor or low priority. It affects user(s) in how they play and engage your world. And this bonus playtime that was given was automatically applied to my account. Though the email made it look like I could apply it any time i wanted. I would prefer to use it in 1-2 weeks and hoping around then, this playability bug is semi or fully fixed. I have sent numerous screenshots and bug reports. So you can tell its truly happening. I understand new games have issues. Though have to wait until this is fixed. Or just a lot of running back, paying repair bills, etc.

IE I do not get how ESO mails a free 5 day game time, gives a code like we can apply it, then say its automatically applied when you go to the website. I would have liked this time at another date. (actually just when I know its more stable to play on world wise, falling through has become that annoying)

I just got around to doing this quest, and I too have him in Wayrest, unable to continue. I know that I can still access veteran content, but as a quester/achievement hunter, I can't help but have it bother me.

Also, I first sent a bug report in about a week-2weeks ago about 3 of the achievements: Ally of Azura, Dreamslayer, and Hero of the Spirit Wardens are still not registered as obtained even though I completed the quest about week 2 of launch.

Also, summoner world bosses in both Alik'r and Bankorai are glitched

Just wondering where stuff is with the above.

[UPDATE] Customer service helped me continue "Messages Across Tamriel"
Great help and props. Also said that in case they haven't been notified, the bugged achievements will be reported. Thanks for the help!

As for Galerion, I was contacted by tech support. They reset this quest for me. After that it was fine.

Please fix the dk ultimate dragon leap. I know quite a few people plus myself are having problems with it. And when it happens it almost always ends up getting me killed as I cannot block or attack until it fixes itself.

I was getting this error a lot too no matter what character I tried to log into. I finally cleared it up by flushing my dns. You can try it. Go to the start button, type cmd (command) in the search window. Launch the dos command window. Then type ipconfig /flushdns and then hit enter. You should get a confirmation about dns cache being cleared and try to log in again. Hopefully this will work for others or I just got lucky.

That isn't spam from ESO or anyone having your email address (directly other than ESO). That was spam from when Gold Sellers abused the private message system on the forums. The spam you see in your e-mail is a COPY of the PM sent to you on this forum.

No one ever pays attention to the source and the part that says that it was a sent message and to click the link to view the whole message.

If you don't want copies of PMs sent to your email, then you need to edit that option on the forum.

Also that SHOULD be fixed.

I have been dealing with a bug in Cyro for the past few days, specifically a nonstop blue unique item. I completed a quest, not sure which, but it dropped a unique pair of boots into my next "Rewards for the Worthy" attachment, which was awesome at the time, but now every single "Reward for the Worthy" now has this unique item in it. I have deleted over 30 of them now, and only decon'd the original pair of boots. I emailed support to raise awareness to the situation, as it could be abused to duplicate items. I just want it to stop, it's really annoying to have to delete every pair.

EDIT: Also, changing campaigns did nothing to stop it
