Missing Bank Items, Bank Slots, & Skill Points

    Supposedly should fix things. Will continue monitoring thread before I'll be able to breathe a sigh of relief. Now to see if anyone gets their items returned any time soon.

    I'm a bit confused about the 1.0.4 patch notes:
    • Fixed an issue where your characters could lose bank expansions you purchased, including the items in these slots.
    • Note: This will not return any items or slots lost prior to this fix. If your character was affected, please contact Customer Support.

    So, since my last incident ticket has been closed as "solved" yesterday, when in fact my 20 purchased bank slots have not been restored and, according to the latest information above, will not ever be restored automatically, you would now have me contact CS again? What will they do? What can they do? Close another ticket as "solved", when in fact it isn't?

    I don't even want to start about any missing items. I'm not sure what I lost and was hoping you could help me recover it, since you have the database transaction logs (at least I hope you do). Yes, maybe the items where all placed in an alt's inventory, but I don't know, I cannot ever be sure, and most of all, I won't buy any new bank slot expansions until I have been reimbursed.

    Please explain.

    Just happened to me. I lost everything. Vet rank 1 with a bunch of mats and quest trophies all gone. :/ I got the pre order mail again as well.

    What is odd though is that my purple weapon from Fighter's guild quest was still in my bank...but nothing else and my extra 30 slots are gone.

    As many others players my problem stand as solved but nothing is.
    Still missing bankslots from 60 to 80 x2 times and all the material form the slots. Hope the problem is solved before the 30 days paytime is up.
    I have sign up for 6 month but dont wanne pay -play if nothing happens with issues

    I have also been hit with the Bank Bug. As many others have reported I was swapping between toons to try and manage my inventory when I received all of the Collectors and Pre-Order mails. This then deleted my additional bank storage I had purchased ( was at 80 slots ), the items and gold inside ( between 500-700g)
    I reported the issue via the in game help portal and have received a reply stating all storage slots,gold and items would be returned asap. I logged back on about 4 hours after the incident and my items had been restored but not my additional storage space or gold. Hopefully tonight's maintenance and patch will fix this issue. Such a good game hampered by such a redundant inventory system and game breaking bugs.

    Patch v1.0.4 claims to fix the the issue causing lost bank slots.

    Patch v1.0.4 will go live on Friday, April 18. It is currently being installed on the EU megaserver, and will be installed on the NA megaserver starting at 8:00 AM EDT.

    I recommend waiting until the patch is deployed on whichever server you use before continuing gameplay, and contacting Customer Support for restoration of lost slots/gold/etc. after the server has come back up and you've had a chance to log in and check your account.

    I doubt anyone wants to be the last player hit by this bug, so better safe than sorry.

    Well, looks like they trying push return items/bank slots/ money over first paying date. Just let ppl pay next month and then tell them sorry we can't help you...

    What hell is this game if no traceback for character MAJOR info like bank slots?!
    You can trace ppl who sent money to wife and ban this account but you cant trace simple operation like purchase bank expansion?! Really?

    I think they can, and various comments from Customer Support claim they can as well.

    However, they aren't going to do this automatically with the patch, hence their statement that we'll need to contact support to get our stuff back.

    It's not clear whether brand new tickets will be needed to do that, but I'm guessing that will be the case given the ill-conceived "auto-resolve" policy they've applied to prior tickets.

    Here's hoping all the staff members involved are learning from this experience and will be able to better communicate with us and help us out in the future.

    I apologize that you had to experience such a frustration. I understand just how irritating it can be when you lose your bank expansions.

    A fix for the issue regarding bank space is currently being investigated. We will be able to return your belongings to you in a future patch. It's best that you don't purchase additional bank spaces, as they may be lost when this is fixed in an upcoming patch. I apologize for the inconvenience and ask that you please bear with us as we work on a solution.

    What I did while waiting for this to get patched was to create temporary characters to hold my extra items. There are too still to many crafting ingredients for a 60 slot bank. So I shift out which ingredients I want to actively use. Blessings of the Eight upon you ___ and keep your blades sharp, friend!

    I experienced this bug on the 14th and sent in a support ticket right away. The CS told me that my ticket would be forwarded to another team and the status was marked as "unresolved".

    Last night I finally got a response but it's the same copy/paste as everyone and the status was marked as "solved".

    How is it solved if I still don't have my bank slots back?

    I have received no correspondence about this ticket at all, no emails, no in-game contact, nothing. I'm glad I wrote the ticket number down because if I hadn't there's nothing else to show I had ever placed one.

    Lost 2 bank slots with all associated items in them. Mostly crafting mats like everyone else. Not an insurmountable loss, but I'd rather not have to gather what I had all over again.

    I have also just now resubmitted a new ticket now that the 1.0.4 patch has hopefully resolved this issue to try and get the missing items restored, #140418-011887.

    Wait until AFTER the patch in the morning, THEN open a ticket asking for your items to be restored. They aren't going to restore anything to anyone until the root cause of the issue is fixed with the patch...that would be a waste of time because it would just happen again.

    Well gonna join this thread aswell...

    I have not recieved any mail, saying it have been resolved, however it is now 9 days since I submitted the ticket, and in the very top it say:

    "We will assume your issue has been resolved if we do not hear from you within 120 hours."

    So yeah, its now well over 120 hours, so can only assume its considered resolved.

    I know this patch is meant to fix the bank bug - just wanting to check if we should immediately reopen tickets regarding this issue or give them some time to work through the back log -

    So let me get it straight..

    We've been asked to post on the forums and lodge tickets if we're suffering from the Dreaded ESO Bank Trash bug and the crappy customer service - who, I might add, seem to be unable to stop clicking the "Solved" button for unresolved issues. Which this particular thread is full of examples.

    Once the fix is in place (if it actually works), we need to lodge new tickets (which may or may not actually get solved - by which I refer to an actual resolution) and hope for the best?? Seriously?

    Our current tickets on the issue aren't enough to get our bank slots and items back? We have to go through the lodging a ticket creation process all over again and hope that our tickets don't just get "solved" rather than "resolved"? Surely you have a record of all the current tickets that are open on the issue and can work through them?

    To be honest, I'd expect this sort of shoddy customer service from F2P games - not one which I'm paying a monthly sub to.

    I am writing off my items as gone and the capability to upgrade my bank from 60 measly crappy crummy slots as not going to happen anytime soon.

    Funniest thing I've heard today (or tomorrow depending on where you live).

    Paul Sage suggested that all your items in the bank may still be there. You just can't access them. Yes, that is an accurate quote. He said this in an interview on the TESO Off the Record podcast today (or yesterday depending where you live).

    I'm wondering about missing bank gold. So even though the gold tally in the bank says "0", is the gold still there too? :)

    I got told the same by a CS Rep when they finally called me back after 5 days of asking. He said he thinks items were their but couldnt answer my question like yours about the whereabouts of the gold.
    I am very sceptical on this one .. I mean how can they not know one way or the other what their patch will do ,,, have they tested it or are we really just part of a P2P beta test.

    I would love it to be the case and I log in tomorrow to have everything restored
    But even if the patch does stop this occurring until they return the gold I stored there (As I was dumb enough to store all of my gold except couple thousand my main toon had on him so 78K went missing when Zenimax gold hackers struck)
    I cannot buy back the expansion slots if there aren't restored

    On a serious note if they struggle so much to restore these items as we all think they will .. It holds very little hope for any of us when they real game hackers break their security and steal our accounts...

    At least Blizzard can restore a hacked account in less than a day 90% of the time.

    Honestly Tera has much better customer support and it's F2P if you want to play that way. Oh and wasn't Zenimax screaming before release play your way guess that was as truthful as the GW2 Manifesto

    Not much seen on my side. If I read the patch right all it should do is stop new loses - wont fix what is already gone - need to contact support for that.

    yes, after many years the game is out.
    I think you didn't try to have your account restored a couple of week after the release.

    Patch now live but still missing my bank slots for ticket 140409-038713.

    Fix this asap which means within 2 hours...
