    What do these people think anyways? Do they really think its even a decent option to ask someone to play a new character till something is patched? I've never rolled multiple toons in any game. I learn what I want in beta. I have been bugged since the 2nd. That 8 days. 8 days is double the time it took me to get from 1 to 50. I have been bugged that entire time. I've been surpassed by people that were level 10 when I was VR1. Its almost so pathetic you gotta laugh about it. I'm not even the kind of guy that cares about the 60 odds dollars I spent on the game. The principle is they havent done anything to fix game breaking issues for over a week. They owe everyone who has been hung up SOMETHING for their time. It should be based on the severity of the issue.

    What I'm confused about is none of the bugged quests in their 'high priority' list were fixed in this downtime...

    Maintenance. Not even a patch fix. They know people are stuck. If you though the bug department was slammed wait a Few weeks and be in the billing department.

    Hi there,
    I have the same problem with this quest, tho not sure if its the same issue. When i have to fight the summoned skeletons at the end of the quest i somehow jumped out of the invisible wall that surrounds the combat area and cant get back.

    Ticket num: [Incident: 140404-014833]
    The last email I got was 6 days ago, it said that the ticket is being transfered to a specialist.

    I'm only lv 40 at the moment so its not exactly blocking for me, but it would be nice if it could be fixed before I reach 50 :)

    So how long till this coversation bug is fixed? Next year? I've been filing a few reports and no answers ofcourse. But one might think that bugs on thier MAIN story line should be their absolute priority. Heck it should be tested enough to not having any bugs at all..

    I just spoke with the GM again about this issue, he told me no date for the patch. Told me they wouldn't grant levels to a new character so I could continue playing, and would not grant me the 9 days of game time I lost on this quest. I'll have a video and post up on youtube and reddit shortly. Link incoming. Will be going for my refund tomorrow

    Did they said they have a fix in next patch or still working on it? Otherwise it's won't be soon, main quest bug are know since beta...

    They could fix people one by one if they want to...

    This particular problem with cadwell stuck out back cannot be fixed individually. Of that I assure you. If your scene has already started more then likely you will wait for a patch with the rest of us. They gave no indication at all of patch times or intended fixes, just to wait or reroll on a "different faction" to see other areas.

    In short, It could be a while, they cannot fix it individually and I promise you, you will see little to no effort to rectify the situation from either in game employees of zenimax or their support.

    As far as I understand it, the support tools available to 1st line support is very little (account actions), then GM's can only do things like teleport players to fix spawn issues or try to reinstance them. The actual game developers (who aren't support - think coders etc) will need to fix the actual quest to get affected players past it.

    Can be fixed individually, it's only a valor in a database.

    If Caldwell is stuck and not moving out back no one but the devs have the ability to fix it. For all intents and purposes it cannot be fixed individually. I know for a fact a gm cannot. That being said if your conversation never started a gm may be able to move it forward.

    I don't think you can call someone Game Master when they have no power on core game. Devs can do what they want, if they want to.

    Agreed. I'm not debating semantics with you. Just letting everyone know that a "gamemaster" tried and could not fix it. Devs fix will always be a global one although they should not wait to push big patches they should push small ones at any given time if it does not require server downtime or should have done it during the last maintenance.

    Just got off the phone with support. The patch will be pushed Tuesday according to Edward, a customer service supervisor. Also I will have been stuck on this for 14 days come Tuesday. I asked to have my character deleted and have another added to my account with vr levels. Not max or even equal to my current guildies who were under level 20 when I hit vr1. He told me they have no way of leveling a character, that they lacked the tools despite the past betas having preleveled characters. They said "at best we can credit you a week of game time" despite having proof this has been bugged for two weeks.

    Tomorrow I will call gamefly for a refund or despute the charges with my credit card company. Not because the game has bugs like all MMOs do, but because of the sheer disrespect, lies and blatant disregard of the zenimax support staff with their customers.

    I will have a link up on reddit and YouTube soon warning new and future players of what they can expect from this company. It will have the number of times I have emailed them, their number and quality of replies. A video of a GM telling me they do not refund game time or advance characters and to top it off, the notice of a refund to a gamer and clan leader that has played every mmo since 99 with a guild of 200 actives and never once considered asking for a refund on any game. ESO is a decent game, its customer service is complete trash.

    Worst costumer support i have ever seen, and thats from someone who has seen WoW Private Servers..
    And to make sure, I dont mean the people who are helping us sucks, I mean that the structure and the system behind the Customer Support sucks..

    GM's can have whatever tools they are given, the devs could easily give GM's the tools to give items/gold, to transport players, to add level's, to ban bots and griefers on the spot, and a myriad other things that are possible. The problem I see is that the GM's don't have these tools and that is a problem as well as poor planning.
    What is written above are my honest opinions. If you agree then; "Great!" If you disagree; "Great!" I really couldn't care less either way.

    I cant agree more. Principle is a hard thing for people to understand. Some people can deal with whats not fair, or right. Some people can deal with excessive bugs or issues. Some people can deal with both. I can deal with both. However when I am told I should deal with both, for 12 days, and be refused any kind of compensation for that lost time. That is when I have found my limit.
