None of the choices apply to me. I am participating, so the last choice is out. I'm not not-enjoying, so that's out, too. But I'm also not particularly enthused, so the first one doesn't work, either.
1. the Vitrified Souls and Quartermaster dailies are way too much grind for the rewards. Drop rates for the objectives are too low and the rewards are mostly gear that I've already collected while running around on Solstice. Once for the Golden coffer is enough for me.
2. the Crafting dailies are crafting dailies. The reward boxes mostly just give you back the mats you expended to do them (except the style mat), so pretty much a wash outside of the first one for the Golden coffer.
3. the siege camp dailies are kind of interesting, but the Stirk Fellowship motifs were bugged (supposed to have been hotfixed earlier this morning), so the main reason for me doing them was a non-starter.

I've completed the Golden Pursuit and earned the weekly endeavor without even trying, and am able to complete 24 event quests (6 of each type) on my main character within a reasonably short amount of time, so that lets me enjoy other parts of the game instead of feeling like I need to be grinding event quests for hours and hours.
If you're slightly above neutral then that counts as yes, you're enjoying it (which is what you voted), it's just that you're only slightly enjoying it rather than enthusiastically enjoying it lolReginald_leBlem wrote: »I needed another option, because I am slightly above neutral in my feelings towards the event.

A real missed opportunity here.
Its like when your favourite football team marches all the way to the one yard line and fumbles the football only to have the other team recover it.
A better way to do this would have been if we could have attacked the wall its self and have the enemies on the other side defending. When we get a breach in the wall we could get through and attack the field general, capture objectives and get rewards. The enemies would also have the ability to heal or fix the wall as we are attacking and when we kill the field general they could no longer heal or fix the wall. Once the entire wall is down then we could have a "siege the town" quest or battle to kill the final boss and win the war. This would give it a pyp feel to it and would make it more exciting.
Although this is a simplistic approach to the story, it would still be a lot more fun than what we are doing now.
On the first day I struggled to complete the quests, but persevered. In the first box opened I got the Coldharbour Surreal Estate, which was a delight until I actually went there.
Then I remembered about the house from when the Doomchar plateau was released, that it was also just a building site. All the fun went out of the event at that point.
Today, I completed the quests to get the gold boxes, and no more, having lost all interest in the event.
There are ways to mitigate some problems people are experiencing. The biggest thing: ignore where the quests show you to go, like specific delves or circles on the map. As usual the Quest Journal > Map UX is severely unhelpful (for example we've been asking to fix THIS related issue for almost a decade?) Instead, heed the quest text: you can get items practically anywhere, so better go where there are fewer players, or even instanced areas like easy dungeons.

I discovered that today. Yesterday I got lucky the first time - the vitrified souls quest pointed me to 3 locations and the one I picked turned out to be a public dungeon with very few players and large groups of daedra so it was easy to get souls. The second time it was the opposite - I picked a dungeon where the quest circle covered one small corner and it was full of people camping spawn spots, so I went to another dungeon and managed to get it done. Today it sent me to Coldharbour and there seemed to be people everywhere, so I tried going back to the first dungeon and was able to get it done.
It was annoying at first because the 1 other person in there kept doing the thing where they'd wait for me to start moving like they were trying to play together without grouping or speaking (which would be fine) but whenever I was about to attack a group of enemies they'd rush ahead and wipe them out, then run back to me and follow me/wait with me until I started moving towards another group then do it again. So I just stayed still until they went away (it's not worth talking to them, they never reply), and then I was able to do the quest.
Poorly telegraphed seems to be the order of the day for the abilities of the bosses from this event. I fought a daedric boss in the Grahtwood public dungeon that kept giving the interruptible telegraph while channeling an ability, but it couldn't be interrupted either by bashing or with crushing shock.spartaxoxo wrote: »He was actually really tough with only 4 people. But not in a fun way because his attacks are poorly telegraphed. His health bar felt appropriate and he could have been more fun with better telegraphing.
