well the 00000 worked for me as I live in Canada and it doesn't recognize my postal code. They did say you could always change your address later so maybe just use a different address for now. Once you get to the creditcard screen its all good.

Problem is the basic information must match the credit card. Which includes zip code

Yes and if It doesn't It will kick you back to the billing address screen, and put a 14.99 hold on your credit card. Even without confirmation

I don't know if anyone suggested this in the tread yet, but I ran into the same issue and resolved it.

At first, I was using Firefox. I kept running into the Billing Address issue till finally, I switched over the Chrome. Then, it was successful on the first try.

It would not surprise me, based on the competence of any team outside of gaming design and development, that the billing site does not work for Firefox.

    Good luck!

I have tried every possible Browser, Computer/Device type, And combination of my address from abbreviated to non abbreviated words. To no spaces, I have no special characters, no apartment number, Just one simple street address. And it will just not accept it.

The only thing I can figure out now is Elderscrollsonline.com links with google maps database for my address, which is wrong in google maps.

I don't see why they can't just get in their system and validate the zip manually.

Well finally got a call back at 4:30 pm. They were able to activate my game code, and my 30 days free time. although I didnt get a subscription set up. I'm hoping they will have this problem fixed by the time my 30 days runs out so I wont have to deal with it again.

Well here's to hoping they can do some similar magic for me. I've seriously fallen off the leveling train with my friends, and I was hoping to be able to smith some armor for the lot of us :(

I had the exact same issue today, now that I've finally received my imperial edition. Windows 8.1 Waterfox no worky (64bit firefox) no matter how I formatted the address. IE 11 worked flawlessly the first time, including *with* the special characters . # I added those in as I do on any other purchase just to see if it would work in IE and it did.

EDIT: I thought I'd add it did cost ESO though. I was going to sign up for 6 months, but changed it to just one. The 'force people to pay in advance for their free month' ticked me off. I'm seriously considering just canceling after that first paid month and jumping to Wildstar when it comes out.

Worst case, you should be able to set up a prepaid card by that point, and give it your work's zip code on your address.

Received a phone call from support - they said it was escalated 2 days ago. Haven't heard a thing back since. If it's not taken care of this weekend I'm done. I give up.

Same thing happened to me, but with an email. Said it was "escalated", hasn't sped up the process whatsoever. It really frustrates me that I can't take the game back because it's a digital code, and I've got friends and a guild established now. A guild that's suffering because I can't be there to promote people and update things. It's almost been a week now, if they still can't straighten things out I may try to sell the codes and just find some f2p mmo.

I also had this issue, early when I first tried to pre-purchase the game. Turns out that Firefox, although you allow scripts for the ESO site, still was doing some blocking during the purchase information phase of the page. I managed to get my address and CC info with no issues, using Chrome, and allowing scripts globally for the site.

    Hope this helps, good luck!
