I actually love how my vampire looks up to stage 3, and I like how the vampire skin makes the markings look faded, but that's my personal opinion, would be nice if they could update it to something better but I'd be too afraid of it ruining my character.
It is criminal how they don't have fangs though, and how it makes Redguards WHITE, even though Rada al-Saran gets to be a vampire with red eyes and normal skin color, it's surprising how few people ever complained about this.

Unfortunately, that's not the case either, lol.
Can you please update/overhaul the way the vampires look in their base-form? The textures alone are very dated. Tired of looking like some weird zombie as a stage 4 vampire (yes, I'm aware I can use skins, but I like to show my vampirism, would like it more though if they looked better). It'd be nice if they looked like the vampires in the Greymoor trailer. Also, where are our fangs? Even the older games gave us fangs when we became vampires...The bite/feed mechanic would look so much cooler with fangs!
It'd also be nice if our tattoos, makeup, and markings remained the same...

I agree with you ~ Vampires need a huge update ♥

Although if werewolves didn't get anything again if vampires got a second update, it would be bad.
I don't know about skills
but appearance wise YES. They could do with a retexture and remodel (I'm not crazy with how they look, I think they looked cooler in Skyrim. More imposing. Hated how they were only ONE color though) and I wish color was determined by hair color (don't know if they'd be able to do that though). It'd also be cool if there was some sort of change to your base form (like glowing yellow eyes or something).

I'll chime in with my top pain points for Werewolf skills:
- There are no Scribing skills that Werewolf can use yet. Hopefully the Werewolf skill line gets a Grimoire soon. Of course, Vampire will get their own unique Grimoire, too.
- You're locked out of your gap closer, Pounce, for 5 seconds if you fail to cast Carnage on anything. That means you have to hit your fleeing target with Carnage in order to Pounce on them again to keep up with them.
- Brutal Carnage often misses the target when you think it should hit them. This is because you can only cast Carnage and its morphs when an enemy is within 7 meters — the enemy often moves out of range between the range check to enable casting the ability and the second check to determine which enemies are hit by the ability. By contrast, Feral Carnage always hits the target, because it is single target and doesn't perform a redundant check.
- Hircine's Rage only gives you Major Berserk when cast at 100% Health. Werewolf will hardly ever be at full health in combat, which is where you'd want the damage buff. If you're at even 99% Health, you waste precious Magicka and don't get any buff.
- Terrified is given via Ferocious Roar, which is meant for damage dealers. Damage dealers are intended to fear enemies and put them on crowd control immunity, when really that should be the tank's job. Terrified is also useless to non-werewolves and can be easily purged in PvP. It's also a DPS loss to fit Ferocious Roar into your parse in PvE.
- Werewolves can tank (via Deafening Roar) and they can be damage dealers. But they cannot be healers as they have no crosshealing abilities. Further, they lost the healing over time from Hircine's Fortitude and are left with the pseudo HoT from the lifesteal element of Claws of Life, which is awful in PvP but extremely powerful in PvE.

I agree that Werewolf needs better customization options. I think Skill Styles for the Werewolf Transformation ultimate is the way to go (at least to change the fur color) but I'd also appreciate a model rework in general. ESO's werewolf model lost a lot of detail that they had during the beta, and it'd be great if they could have that detail back.
I don't think appearance changes to the human form makes sense for Werewolf, but if they do happen then I'd hope there'd be an easy way to turn them off or hide them, the way Vampire characters often use Skins to hide their vampirism stage.

I really wish that players had this ability. It feels so "out of context" that we are forced to expose our vampirism 100% of the time.

Back in the day, a Stage 4 vampire had a feral face because he hadn't fed for a long time, which made him ravenous: starving and therefore powerful.
With the 2020 change, Stage 1 is when the vampire is hungry, and Stage 4 is when they're sated.
This goes COMPLETELY against everything we know about vampires in the franchise.
The hungrier, the more bestial, the thirstier, you know?

This depend on which strain of vampirism the vampire have. To our knowledge it's only the Cyrodiilic strain which is indistuishable from normal people when kept well fed.FabresFour wrote: »The games have never really represented this very well, but there are countless tales of characters living in Tamriel's society while hiding their vampirism. This is how Lamae's strain of vampirism works. She made it work in the opposite way with feeding makes your vampirism stronger. The 2020 change made it actually match up to what she said in dialogue, and not working the same as any other strain.
The only error is the appearance, which looks anaemic instead of full of blood. Which they were planning to change with the 2020 change, but people didn't like the look of it.

it's now, but not before 2020
