Hi everyone! In a continued effort to improve our systems and provide the experiences you desire out of our systems, we have a survey available to collect your feedback. This survey is focused on the Guild Experience for ESO. The survey is estimated to take about 5-7 minutes of your time on average, but that will also vary depending on how much feedback you provide. The link to the survey is available below. We'll also leave this thread open for any additional feedback on guilds that the survey did not cover. Thanks in advance to all who submit feedback on your guild experience and how it can be improved.

The survey didn't really cover this but more guild slots would be really good.

When you've played the game for years and years like a lot of us have, 5 guilds is not a lot..

Also sometimes you may need to be in a small guild that doesn't serve much purpose outside of just having access to the tabard to show you're part of a group in PVP etc.

Is there ever going to be an increase or is this not possible due to server limitations etc? I think it's something a lot of people would like, even if just ESO+ members have access to a couple more guild slots as an extra benefit?

I tried taking the survey but the very first question asked "How old are you?" So I chose "Prefer not to say" and the survey just ended... "We thank you for your time spent taking this survey. Your response has been recorded." :D

Im excited that we are potentionally getting some new guild system features!

My main guild, late night dungeoneers, has been inactive for quite a while now with the guild chat mainly being used as a chatroom for old veteran players. I would love to see some incitement for us to actually get together as a guild and complete tasks together. This system has been needing an update for quite a while.

Something like "guild endeavors" seems like a logical first step, but i hope there will be more gameplay features based around guild activities :)

More guild interaction with the world, better representation of your guild, and tighter loyalties are what need to be paramount. Having been playing the newest MMO, Throne and Liberty, a game that puts an emphasis on guilds… it changes the entire landscape of a community when guilds are truly supported.

Not only are they supported, but encouraged, you can do guild versus guild sieges, have alliances, make rival guilds, you can take over parts of the map, and do guild raids.

    6svzvbpjbd28.jpeg

On top of that, even the efficiency of guilds within the game are rated, that screenshot is from a few days ago, where our server-wide ranking was 49 real time. We are now in the 30s for the entire West Coast. Having that visible number has been a rallying cry for us, a means of marketing our guild, and a reminder of our obligations to our members.

Being in a guild should be a big deal.

I understand wanting to encourage togetherness as the vultures are encircling ESO, just be aware that there needs to be a level of commitment.

You did great with the rewards survey, as adding Skill Styles to in-game content is a phenomenal way of adding rewards to the game, hopefully guilds can get the attention they need, otherwise players like me that are currently taking a hiatus from the game as they’ve found better experiences elsewhere will remain away, indefinitely.

Hmm not sure why that is happening. Let me pass this along. For those running into issues, please do the following for me.

Try the survey in a different browser or incognito to see if it does the same thing. Just trying to figure out if this is a browser issue.

Was on chrome previously, tried Firefox and opera both with incognito and vpns (I'm probably in a no more officially supported region so makes sense) on and same issue persists.

Yeah, that is odd. It might be a region thing because we know the link is working. We have gotten plenty of responses already. We'll check back with the team who built the survey and see if anything else can be done.

I haven't been in a Guild for several years now. I just don't have the emotional energy to play Social Roulette trying to find a group of people that will click with me.

I did try joining a khajiit themed Guild once, but the sudden thrust into the Guild chat channels and the feeling of being the newcomer into an already established social circle is too much for me.

I fear I'm pretty much stuck playing solo for the rest of my time here.

I t would have been nice to know that age was a requirement as I and probably lots of others do not readily give out any type of personal information. Also being logged into to the forums you have should have been enough to ID players.

Yeah, I filled my survey out from a leadership perspective, but ZOS would do well to give more incentive to joining a guild beyond access to traders. All other benefits are subjective and can be accomplished through zone or friends, but selling on traders are only possible through guilds.

Accidently said "prefer not to say" and can't redo the survey.

EDIT: I didn't realize it was necessary to put an age to continue, and personally prefer not to give out personal info when possible. I think it should be noted somewhere and not just in this forum's comnent thread.

One comment I made in the survey, and which I'll repeat here: please improve the guild search in the guild finder page - we need to either be able to sort the guilds by name, or search for them by name, because it's very difficult to find some guilds otherwise.

As we all know, guilds play a crucial role in fostering camaraderie and enhancing gameplay in The Elder Scrolls Online. I’d like to propose several features that could significantly improve the guild experience for all players. Each suggestion is backed by data to illustrate its potential benefits.

    ## Improved Guild Feature Suggestions for The Elder Scrolls Online

    **Guild Management and Community:**

    * **Blacklisting Players:** Allow guilds to exclude problematic members and maintain a healthy community.

    * **Expanded Blacklist:** Increase the size of the guild blacklist to 5,000 for effective management of disruptive players.

I agree or am intrigued by a lot of what you wrote, but I'm confused by this. The first point sounds like you're asking for the ability to blacklist players from guilds, which you clearly know is possible since you made the second point.
    * **Role-Based Guild Roster:** Categorize members based on their primary roles (e.g., tank, healer, DPS) for easier group finding.

Are you looking for ways to do this other than guild ranks? Like maybe just display the role in the guild roster the way it is on the group page?
