One request I forgot to include in my survey is color coding the changes in the roster history. I used to be able to tell at a glance whether someone joined, left, or had a rank change thanks to an addon, but now everything is the same color.

If anyone was unable to finish the survey because they chose "Prefer not to say" when asked for their age, then deleting the cookies for "bethesda.net" in the browser will allow them to take the survey again.

    Example:
Firefox > Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Manage Data > select "bethesda.net" > Remove Selected > Save Changes.

I took the survey but omitted to add a comment about Guild Houses / Guild Halls, so I'm sticking it here in the hope it gets picked up :)

It would be great to have the ability to appoint a home as the official Guild House, potentially with a higher player cap and features, such as:-

    1. A wayshrine marker on the map for appointed Guild Houses (guilds in which you are a member)
    2. A specific "location" in the Roster to show a player location as Guild House when they visit
    3. Tools or furnishings for spectators to Dummy fights and/or Duels (scoring, encouragement, etc)
    4. Crafting materials stores for guild member access - possibly a subset of the Guild Bank or a group chest
    5. Guild Bank and Guild Store access from within the Guild House
    6. Armour repair from within the Guild House
    7. Horse Riding upgrades from within the Guild House
    8. Ability to gain buffs - e.g. sleep in a bed for improved health of 2 hours, etc.
    9. Ability to engage in mini-games within the Guild House (e.g. hide and seek; treasure hunt; etc)
    10. Within improved guild comms, the ability to flash guild members to let them know there's a gathering.

    Hope this helps :)

    PS: 11. A HIGHER FURNISHING CAP !!!!!!! ;)

This is an idea another player gave me last night, make it so the outlaws refuge traders are one single network.

No one goes to outlaw traders, it's a gigantic hassle. Multiple load screens just to get to a trader that has nothing in it. Give players a reason to visit them.

Make it so all the kiosks in the Outlaw Refuge are linked. If you visit one trader anywhere, it lists the items from every Outlaw Refuge. Sort of like an auction house, but a good middle ground to keep the trader system and offer players a reason to visit outlaw traders.

This will also give smaller guilds the ability to compete with the bigger guilds in the game.

The survey didn't let me go back to correct previous pages answers, but filled it best I could.

1 Few already mentioned it too, but more guild slots would be nice! It's sad to pick between a friend's guild and big stonks trading guild. (I'm sorry friends, the stonks always win)

2 Also seconding ability to hide guild tabard, and/or updated way to style it. I would personally love a sash/belt type guild tabard. More symbols to decorate them with would be really nice as well!

    3 And bigger guild bank!
Or a craft bag sort of thing, there is so many crafting materials I want to share with new players, but they clog up the guild bank so fast.

4 Is there going to be a fix for that bug that makes some guild messages pop up in the notifications constantly even if it hasn't been updated?
Someone said it happens if guild has same name both in EU and NA servers, but don't know for sure.

5 I'd want a guild store for smaller guilds too, that you just can't get a guild vendor NPC for. Would be a nice way to teach beginning players the basics of trading.
Or even better! If you have guild store, give us a way to appoint a guild vendor NPC inside your guild hall!

Age thing is funny. Wouldn't a simple "are you are over 18/age of majority in x country" do? Don't think anywhere has 25-35 year olds being considered kids.

Yeah, I blinked a couple times when I saw it. It was actually the hardest question on the survey, at least in terms of the time required to decide on an option. How old do I want them to think I am?

In the end, my feeling is that if they are doing a survey, they must feel really out of sync. People have been complaining about guilds, on and off the forums, for years. I doubt much has changed.

I agree. Since launch over 10byears ago player have been requesting very cool guild features and way to give guilds meaning. But ZOS hasn't really listened to any of that feedback. And at a certain point, you get burnt out telling them what you need to run a good community.

The survey did that because our privacy policy requires us to ensure we're collecting data only from those who verify they are 18 or older. It's a data safety protocol.

Then why not just have the survey ask "Are you over 18 years of age"?

Also, nowhere does it state or inform the participant that selecting the response "I prefer not to say" will halt any further participation in the survey.

The results will be shared with the Dev team. We don't use team resources to make surveys that no one is going to read. We will be sharing this this thread along with the survey results.

Not everyone works on the same things and multiple teams review this information. So we have teams working on performance and bug fixes, but those are not the same people who work on systems, like Guilds.

We built this survey after talking to some ESO guild leaders (across PC and Console) at some of our in-person events. The goal it to get feedback both from leaders and guild members (both current or lapsed) to better understand pain points and see how we can better improve the experience.

Hi everyone! In a continued effort to improve our systems and provide the experiences you desire out of our systems, we have a survey available to collect your feedback. This survey is focused on the Guild Experience for ESO. The survey is estimated to take about 5-7 minutes of your time on average, but that will also vary depending on how much feedback you provide. The link to the survey is available below. We'll also leave this thread open for any additional feedback on guilds that the survey did not cover. Thanks in advance to all who submit feedback on your guild experience and how it can be improved.

Questionnaire survey is a good mechanism for self-improvement. I hope the questions raised can be more targeted, so as to be more helpful to the improvement of the game. I think it is necessary to join more different trade unions, and some themes such as trade union war will be more attractive

So no Verified Guild leaders.. ok.

Basically if you want to keep up with new games like Throne and Liberty, I alone have listed hundreds of features in the last 10 years. About 12 of those ideas were eventually implemented. Years after I pleaded with you guy on the forums.

I suspect unless ZOS does something amazing, it will be too little too late. Players are tired of begging for something only for some other unrequested feature to be added.

Give guilds real meaning. Give them life, let them grow and be built how their communities see fit. Right now they're little more than trade guilds or expanded friends lists.

    Guild competition Leaderboard or something.

As I see right now only real competition between guilds are who has the most gold for best trading spot.

What about if Guilds could actually compete for something in game thats not gold related?

Maybe diffrent entrys so a smaller 100 player guild wouldnt have to compete against the big mournhold guilds.

And dont do *kill 10 or revive a player* thing, but something that the guild can work towards that feels meaningful and gives some kind of glory to the guild and the players participating.

A type of weekly/monthly Guildpoints system that can be earned by guild/players that would benefit both parts in some way.

Also I would like to be able to make my own *Guild quests* for my members in my guild like a weekly or monthly give away that im running now. Instead of just give stuff away I can put a quest up that members can complete which the rewards comes from my own pocket as GM.

    ## Improved Guild Feature Suggestions for The Elder Scrolls Online

    **Guild Management and Community:**

    * **Blacklisting Players:** Allow guilds to exclude problematic members and maintain a healthy community.

    * **Expanded Blacklist:** Increase the size of the guild blacklist to 5,000 for effective management of disruptive players.

I agree or am intrigued by a lot of what you wrote, but I'm confused by this. The first point sounds like you're asking for the ability to blacklist players from guilds, which you clearly know is possible since you made the second point.
    * **Role-Based Guild Roster:** Categorize members based on their primary roles (e.g., tank, healer, DPS) for easier group finding.

Are you looking for ways to do this other than guild ranks? Like maybe just display the role in the guild roster the way it is on the group page?

Yeah, I basically used chat got to combine all of my posts about guild features and that kept getting put in there. More blacklist controls would be nice. Like the ability to put a permanent ban or a 30 day ban.

Please add more guild slots. Khajiit cannot imagine how a few more slots would impact anything in the game, and it would allow for even more social interaction, which in this one's opinion should be encouraged.

I would say add more guilds as an eso plus membership perk. For the increased revenue

But outside of that, multi-guilding generally decreases loyalty to communities. Why be loyal when you can just join guilds at random and hope for a better one? It's the grass it always greener idea.

Survey complete. Something not covered in the Survey but would be nice to see is adding systems to make guilds actually mean something outside of the social aspect of the game.
    Example:
Daily crafting writs done by guild members have a direct impact on any keeps claimed by that guild in Cyrodiil. The more writs your guild does, the stronger the guards are, or the walls are, or takes longer for flags to flip. Something to add some depth to the guilds we are in. Just a thought.

am glad that there is an official request for the wishes of the players in the guild area. In the survey, I forgot to mention a couple of details.
Daily Guild tasks: The guild master can set a task for different PVP and PVE activities for daily tasks at will, with an additional reward in the form of a new unique guild currency (and you need to add a new item merchant for this)

its not really any different than pretty much any age verification thing

whenever i go to the main eso website news articles and it presents and age gate i never type in my real birthday, just something that is at least 20+ years ago (partially because i dont like using my real info, and partially to see how easy it is to get around)

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    • A guild crafting bag is genius! Even if it were limited. A new player might need Kresh, and has no idea they can ask me for it. If an unlimited bag would be too database intensive, limit it to a single stack of main mats (each type of wood, metal, etc), provisioning ingredients, and the main 9 style trait materials. No need to include hackwings. 10 each of alchemy ingredient and enchant stones, just to get someone through a crafting writ they need mountain flower for.
    • Hide Guild Tabard option. I too would wear a tabard if it didn't cover the outfit I spent in-game gold to create. I do sometime wear a costume in order to show my guild name via tabard, but not very often.
    • Official Guild Halls supported by code, not just putting a housing link in a MoTD.
    • Better voice chat options. I know ZoS has no control over PSN, (or the equiv services on other platforms) but when group or guild voice chat fails (which is incredibly common) we move to PSN. But PSN has a limit of 100 people in a channel, and a guild is 500 people. So if a guild keeps a dedicated PSN (or 3, which one of my guilds tried for awhile), it also becomes a management issue. Can you ask Sony to create an option to "invite everyone in this group to a PSN" option? (Yes, I know PS5 is adding discord. Still lots of people on PS4, and discord's voice chat has its own issues.)
    • Option to set the guild to auto-expire people who don't log in. One of my guilds just did an inactivity purge. 150+ people were removed. That could be automated so easily. Allow the GM to set a time: no login for 6 months? Maybe 2 weeks for huge trading guilds? Auto-kicked. Also have an option to never, ever auto-kick anyone.
    • ^^ Bad idea. But, how about tools that make inactivity purges easier? For instance, sort the roster by last-login-time, that takes into account marking oneself offline?
    • - - -
    • More guild slots. I'm in two large (capital) trading guilds, 2 trial guilds, and a social guild. I've had to prioritize, and have lost contact with many folks because of it. ^(this assumes no changes to the guild trader system. The guild trader system drastically needs an overhaul, and if that happened, this point could be dropped. Even as simple a change as giving console players the same functionality as PC guild trader add-ons would be a VAST improvement. For instance, it takes over 5 hours to price check 2 items on every guild trader in the game, if you're on console. See this comment and this comment for more details.)

I agree. Being able to search for guilds by name in guild finder would be good QoL.

There have been numerous times in the past where I've been unable to find a specific guild in guild finder even though I know what it is.
