How disappointed will you be after todays stream? (Poll)

Today we will hopefully get to hear some infos about the upcoming pvp features and maybe about the 2 new companions.

After the last q3 housing feature, many were really disappointed by a feature, noone asked for. Pvp is a sensitive topic over the years, so i expect a huge outrage if the feature is not what players asked for. How you think you will feel after todays stream?

I expect nothing at this point and only hope it's not something that's going to make the game worse.

I expect it to be underwhelming. But, it doesn't really impact me since I don't PvP all that often anyway. I hope for PvPers sake that I'm wrong.

If this game doesn't get SERIOUS PVP update and balancing overhauls so people actually DIE, I'm retiring this game and al l5x accounts for my kids.

Sick of throwing cash at this game.

So ready for a proper MMO with proper Heal/DPS/Tank trinity.

I have no expectations, pro or con, but I shall remain open to whatever the preview reveals about the update. It doesn't seem very productive to get myself worked up one way or the other without even knowing anything yet.

Not their target audience with the game anymore for years so not expecting anything but further fragmentation of the community leftovers. They need to build the community first from the ground up not relying on people going back because small bones here and there with years apart. Idk but it's strange that they've tried to chase every audience possible into the game but didn't tried to integrate them enough or build strong groups in place of old players who got disinterested with the game due to performance, homogenisation and balance issues.

PvP has been completely neglected by ZOS since BGs in 2017. So yeah my expectations are underneath it all.

Regarding the companions... Well - and it's just my personal feeling of course - I've always thought it was the most pointless content ZOS has brought in the last years (compared with the antiquities system I personally love, and the Tales of Tributes I quite enjoyed). I've never found them interesting, and only used them to farm their questline at Skyreach in order to get the collectible you unlock when you get thei related achiev.

Oh and regarding the companions, I can't figure out how ZOS has chosen the french voice actor that dub Sharp-as-Night.

I still want to watch and also stream it live with commentary. This stream will be the decision maker for me to really put eso in the fridge or kickstart it... Lets see tonight...

I can't really vote as I don't know what they're going to announce.

I don't PvP so have no interest in what they're going to announce for that, but I can predict with almost 100% certainty that whatever it is the PvPers won't like it, they never do ! It sounds as if it might be more BG-oriented which will frustrate the Cryrodiil crowd, and I guess vice versa would also apply.

I love the companion system, it's added a lot to my enjoyment of the game, so I'm hoping they'll announce a couple of interesting additions in that respect.

For the rest, I'm just hoping they won't break something else in the game like they did with achievements. I'm always mindful that one player's QoL improvement is another player's game-breaker, so I always anticipate base game changes with some trepidation.

Finally, as always it isn't just about what they announce, it's also about how they implement it.

I wish there was another option of “don’t PvP but they should get a good update.” I don’t PVP but I want PvPers to get the update that they deserve to have. They have been crying out for a serious update for a LONG time. If it’s anything on a similar level to Home Tours it would be almost insulting.

I don't do PvP outside of Zerg-surfing during Mayhem, so I couldn't care less about PvP updates.
That said, I hope it is something nice for the PvPers out there. But if not, I'm sorry to say, it won't bother me personally.

I'm curious about the new companions, as always. But since I doubt they can manage someone that is more perfect for me than Bastian, anyway, I won't be disappointed if I don't like them. (The only thing that would annoy me was if they had a permanent boon that I'd want, but a completely dislikable personality, so I'd have to skip the boon or drag some jerk around to level them to get it. But the chances of that happening are very slim, so I'm not worried about it.)

I just wish we get something new for cyro after years of being neglected... Instead we'll get ranked XvX bg and theyll call it the big pvp update.
The pvp community is getting smaller and smaller and instead of pumping fresh air to attract new players they're splitting us even more.
What makes Eso special from a pvp perspective is cyro, and we're running around the same trees since 2016, the devs had a gem but probably lost the vision down the road

I'm not wary of disappointment (we're pretty conditioned), I'm more scared of ZOS' penchant to sometimes do things that are unnecessary, when they are thing that are pressing and necessary. At this point, I'll count us lucky if they don't delete PvP altogether...

the PvP feature being related to Battlegrounds might be nice to me too, but i don't know.

There's no need to guess, it will be either a new map for BG or a new mode for BG, that's it. And it will be new content for us for the next 6-7 years

I try to not expect anything. But I like to imagine nice things even without expectations

I want a customizable companion, especially who can wear polymorphs. Skeletal/Xivkyn servants!

I also want Skinned Hound combat pet/companion, because I had 5 or 6 of them in Oblivion (I think 6th made my game crash)
Or at least some necromancer/Daedra, who doesn't disrespect my character and doesn't get negative rapport from my normal gameplay. Basically, my perfect companion is silent most of time, and praising their master (and saying "Yes, master" when I command them to attack)

As for PvP, even the fix for "in combat" bug would be nice. Can't be a healer in PvP, because after healing allies I'm forever in combat.
But based of preview picture, I think it might be custom Battleground lobbies/group vs group. It's not bad, but as I'm lonely player, it would make no difference to my gameplay.

I hope they stop nerfing things and just buff stuff instead. The only way I will be happy is if ZOS declares Necromancers playable again with a much need class buff and/or class overhaul.

Battlegrounds still the best pvp in eso and I’m glad it’s getting some update, as for cyrodiil and ic I don’t care that much because I burn out from both after series of events and I don’t see how new content would motivate me to return there before next event.

Agreed, I don't care for PVP but they deserve something at this point, and if it's interesting enough, I might even try it myself for the lols.

I expect nothing, but it probably be the bg format change some people speculated. Nothing Cyro related, maybe outside of new skin/costume/mount/pet that will cost another 723642746 medals/telvars.

People do die if you build a character that can kill.

You can't stack resistances and expect to steam roll others who are doing the same.

Equip Knight Slayer and Pyrebrand with Jeralls instead of a whole bunch of defensive tank sets and people will die just fine.

I do not think anyone cares if your kids' accounts are subbed my friend. Not sure why that was mentioned.

I have no expectations, just hopes that it will be something fun and some killing will be included not just running and trying to get out of fights.

I don't feel any of the options describe my feelings about this exactly, but I just wanted to say that while I don't PvP and don't particularly care much about it for me, I really hope that this announcement is massive for the PvP community. I'd love to see them finally get some love from the Devs.

Oh and hopefully this is the last batch of companions. We have too many already in my opinion.

Based on the pet reward for watching, it's likely BG-related, and I don't really care about BGs anymore. Maybe it'll be something that brings me back to BGs beyond the daily XP? Most likely it won't. Either way, expectations aren't high to begin with, so I won't be disappointed.
