Dark Brotherhood Crown Crates Look Great, But...

I noticed the preview for the next batch of crown crates just dropped (https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/66631) and some of the stuff shown looks pretty good. However, @ZOS_Kevin and others, what guarantee do we have that ZeniMax won't change a fundamental aspect of a given item to something of arguably lower quality? My question comes from soreness related to the Molag Bal polymorph problem.
If you do consider replying, @ZOS_Kevin, please do not throw that policy at me that says ZeniMax won't change released content unless it's necessary, because as far as I'm aware, we still haven't received any official reason for why Molag Bal's voice effects were removed from the polymorph - and on that mention, is there a reason you would care to share? I'm not fond of being left to speculate in the dark with other users.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you would like to skip the extremely drawn-out conversation surrounding the Senche-Raht mount, I've posted a request at #95 on the fourth page - for what it's worth - to move on from that discussion and begin discussing the rest of the crown crate.

✭In relation to the OP which asks a very valid question. Although I am a fan of improving old stuff. I do agree with ZOS' policy of not fundamentally changing cosmetics, since changing something might make some people happy but it also risks upsetting others. It is surprising that a 400 gem polymorph was subjectively made worse.
I like the concept of new things being added instead of old things being replaced. Ex: new motifs that are essentially variants of old motifs. Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

That's just a Senche-raht wearing some flowers. Flowers exist in this game, and so do Senche-raht. It's not a big stretch to imagine a Senche-raht who chooses to wear flowers. After all, humanoids can also wear flowers, and I'm quite sure we have plenty of costumes or hats with flowers on them.

it has 2 fitting items in the crate Ardor's Cascade and Ardor's Devotion. They're probably floral too.

I do not use it, but I also do not refund it yet because we were promised some solution to this situation in next major update; so I wait.
For now, this situation shows that I can no longer be sure that my beloved cosmetic items retain their nice features after purchase, and this impacted all my decisions in the game. Molag Bal lost his voice and I lost my fun... Lot of my gameplay ideas were ruined, and my inspiration was gone as well.
I am always interested in seeing new cosmetics even if I don't buy them
In upcoming crates, Minotaur polymorph makes me curious as any polymorph would, but someone else will have to make showcase video with their voices. Also, who would guarantee that their voices won't change after people enjoy them for 2 months?.. 
The flowery senche makes me laugh (together with Beast picture) Not intending to offend anyone who actually likes it though. I think it would look more cute if the black skin on his/her lower lip was thinner; also, some addition to remove frown from the eyebrows (new shading, or some fluff located higher above the eye? Not sure).
However, this is the mount I would buy and use in Cyrodiil/Imperial City as Molag Bal (if he had his voice), because the mismatch would be perfectly hilarious.
But since my characters can't roleplay as Dark Father doing funny stuff on his vacation, I don't have to buy this mount. 2 -

If I could purchase the flower power senche raht outright with crowns, I would. I’d use it on my beefiest, most aggressive-looking character (my DK) and ride it around Cyrodiil. Alas, that amusing cognitive dissonance will not happen anytime soon, as I don’t have enough seals of endeavor and refuse to buy crown crates anymore.

The mount is pictured in front of High Elf/Summerset architecture. The color mimics the archetypical High Elf stonework. It is covered in a "bloom" of colorful flowers. I guess you can argue that they did a bad job of it, but it seems to clearly be inspired by or themed with the house.3 -

Usually radiant apexes are very flashy and don't fit in with lore, but since this is a senche-raht (aka a person) I feel it is more believable. He seems to be some kind of mage, which would explain the magic. He also happens to like flowers. radiant mounts haven't always fit the crate's theme unlike apex mounts.

it has 2 fitting items in the crate Ardor's Cascade and Ardor's Devotion. They're probably floral too.

All the best Dark Brotherhood assassins ride mounts that look happy and fun. I mean, what self-respecting assassin wants to ride around on a mount that screams "I'm an assassin!" to everyone? Where's the disguise in that? Good luck gaining anyone's trust that way! ✭✭✭✭✭A person wearing flowers, even summoning illusionary flowers around themselves, actually fits with TES lore much better than undead and daedric mounts being ridden through towns without any objections from the citizens and the guards. Just because ESO has a slightly more realistic art style than many MMOs doesn't mean everything about it has to be dark and 'serious'.
Also I suspect that aside from the apex mounts a lot of the stuff in crown crates is designed independantly from the crate's name and 'theme'. Possibly with two semi-seperate processes where an art director decides which designs get made and then the monetisation team or whoever decide how each item will be released, so when they're designing each crate they have to pick from the pool of available items to fill all the spaces. I also suspect they've noticed that crates with something for everyone sell better than heavily themed ones which only appeal to one type of player.PC EU player | She/her/hers | PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!

Guessing you have never experienced the White-Gold Imperial Courser then? The first Barbie horse in this game, first hitting the Crown Store back in 2018. You summon it and this xylophone type sound plays and it emits sparkles, leaving behind glowing golden hoof prints.
