    Yep, keep this topic on page one. I have sent countless emails and support tickets. Each one getting progressively angrier as my patience winders...

    i have been talking to friends that have finished the quest and they say that they see him as soon as they get out of the haborige or w/e the *** its called so we might of missed him the first time but for a quest to be reliant on people talking to the with a limited time is stupid if you cant do anything to go back and complete the quest specially if you need to finish it to continue playing the *** game!!

    Bottleneck how i would call it. 1 Quest that can stop the hole game, rly smart.... nothing happens only copy past messages. And than a 4h down time with a patch witch fixes lvl 15 quests...woooohoooow baby ... interessting.

    I did see him appear when i came out of Harborage, but as soon as i saw him he disappeared and said "Meet me in Elden Root" (My capital city)

    I am honestly considering phoning the customer service just so i can actually hear what they have to say without taking the time to write an email that is probably copy and pasted from a document.

    Seriously can't they just remove the quest from everyones quest log who has, Messages Across Tamriel quest? And allow us to go back to Harborage and re-take it?

    This is ridiculous. There are official responses to so many pointless bugs and non gamebreaking quests but this one still hasn't even been talked about. THEY WORKED TO PATCH THE MAIN STORY TODAY, WHERE IS OUR FIX?!

    I don't want to make a new character and play through the same content i have just done for the past week, and go through Rollback-Shade. So no i won't make a new character i want to experience NEW content and continue playing the content i PAID for. I am in UK and there is a law called Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 and in my opinion this purchase isn't as described or satisfactory.

    Reply to them telling them to go *** themselves. Tell them you won't start a new character, They should fix the problem and support their customer as that is their job. There job isn't to advise us on how to play their broken ass game. What kind of response is "Start a new character". If they said that to my face i would break their *** nose.

    I wrote a ticket in game where I asked to reset the quest for me. I guess they did it.

    They can't do anything. Seriously. They don't have the tools. I've been stuck on a level 10 quest (now 40) since day 2 of the early release. They straight up told me they don't have the tools to advance the quest past, 'observe the scene.' Hence, I'm screwed until they develop the tools. I imagine you folks are in the same boat.

    Then I have no idea what helped me. I just teleported to ER and the dialog was active.

    Maria did you change your game client to FR? then changed it back to English?

    Any information you can give us on what might have fixed your problem... ?

    I chagneged to German logged in and no luck. Then I changed back to English, made a full check and logged in. And it started working.

    P.S. And may be I just logged in a right mirror there is works. I don't know how to fix it. In my language such things are called "shaman dances with a timbrel" :D

    Thanks maria that might be a fix, everyone try changing their language updating client. Log into client with new language check NPC, change back to English and check again. Ill post back if it works for me. Might be awhile since its 5gb update for FR.

    It`s nice that the mods post in the other mainstory bug but here not :) very interessting, i had now i think 10 support tickets and non helped me right now really right :F 7times FAQ Copy/paste answer, 1 we have no solution, 1 no answer and 1 will send this over to a specialist i mean the bug ist reported over 1 week ago :F its a damn contentblock bug!

    the language reset worked for me. I just let the FR patch start and quickly switched back to english.

    In EH he doesnt spawn, lagnuage switch and co doenst work for me. I ported 2 days ago to cold harbour, there i can play the main quest but i cant complet it at all ^^ because i can find vanus at the lvl 43 quest....

    Still bugged. This is a gamebreaking bug, guys. This needs to be fixed in priority since it blocks progress. I still haven't had help except from some semi-automated message that seemed like the person didn't even bother reading my ticket.

    Must I send in multiple ones just to get it fixed properly?
