Did/will your character(s) become a murderer for Bonus Seals of Endeavour?

Other - Because there's always something that doesn't fit anywhere else.
I have one (out of (now) nine) who does that kind of stuff and that was mostly for the Gold Coast skill points (gotta join DB and move that skill line alone to get them), and one other who opened the DB skill line as a consideration to other pickpocketers. The others either content themselves with one pickpocket per NPC or don't do it in the first place. Those two toons are currently jailed over PTS (guilt by association one supposes), so have been cooling their heels in the digital lockup and will continue to do so until the parole board convenes and acts.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

No! My character isn't a murderer, and they won't become one, no matter how tempting those seals are.
I've never had any murderer, necromancer, werewolf and especially vampire characters. That doesn't make them goodies 2 shoes. Just not an abomination.

My characters actually 'are' each other. I've been playing the same little wood elf since 2007 (Oblivion at that time), through Skyrim and into ESO. She mastered time travel long ago so chronology/era-hopping is of no concern to her. She wakes up in the morning and decides whether to grab her staff or bow and moves among the differing versions of herself (magplar, magsorc, stamsorc, etc) as easily as she changes hairstyles or costumes. Each version of her looks identical and has only minimal different modifiers to her base name.

She is basically what D&D would call 'chaotic good'. She helps those in need and is very nurturing. That said, when it comes to protecting her friends, she is voracious and can be merciless, vengeful and even cruel. Murdering innocents for hire is not something she will do however - for any reward.

It's all good though. There are plenty of reward-related things she won't do, but also plenty that she will. :)

Unfortunately, I was tempted by the seals and my character finally completed the introductory quest for the DB because of it (so I guess I've killed one innocent), but I deeply, deeply regretted doing so. I don't like murder, but I especially dislike the DB. I find their edgelord attitude to murder just a bit embarrassing. Prefer the Morag Tong by far.

So anyway I didn't go through with the BoW endeavors, and never will.

Other, because I haven't been able to play since they started these themed Endavors. For obvious reasons...

But yes, I do have on DB character and one TG character, so they're the ones I go to for those types of Endeavors. And I'm sure they'd love to get more playtime, if only we could finally get our accounts unlocked.

    I clicked the wrong option.

I literally can't play an elder scrolls character who isn't a murderer. There's always a part of me that wants to metagame, even when RPing.

I’m sorry you went through the DB intro quest and regretted it! :( It would be nice if there were a way to remove guilds/skill lines from a character. With one of my first characters, a lawful good templar, I didn’t even loot containers not marked as “stealing” if it seemed like it would be (like the Cathedral in Shimmerene, Summerset) whereas I thought the thieves’ troves were like recovering relics from the thieves dead drops — Thieves Guild really should require an intro quest like the DB! Even the FG and MG require a dialogue, not like you are automatically enrolled by killing a daedra or reading a book! :/

I would definitely have an assassin or two in the Morag Tong who would never join a Murder Cult like the DB. I am, however, thinking of having a second character join the DB, a Shadowscale, but I can’t stand the thought of going through Amelia Crowe, because a true Saxheel should have a traditional ritual of entry into the DB and not require a tip from some soft-skin cringe edgelord.

I am particular about my characters.

All my characters are part of one large gang, led by this khajiit (my main character):

So when their boss commands, they all get to work and they better do it well :D

I personally do not enjoy seeing innocent NPCs die, but my characters roleplay differently from my personal views, so it has to be done sometimes. Especially when there are bonus Seals for it, because collecting beautiful mounts is very important :)

My arcanist was always going to join the DB at some point, but the extra seals definitely accelerated the process.

My main account had already gone there but this does highlight what I would call stupidity on part of the developers.

Personally I'm not into either thieving or assassinations. For the sake of completion I joined them last in Morrowind and didn't bother at all in Oblivion or Skyrim.

    Just don't swing that way.

Then you've got ESO which forces players to join both guilds to experience main story content and to murder for achievements and their rewards.

    That's not smart.

The content they've designed for them is very well done and among the few things where they can legitimately claim to have bettered the single player Elder Scrolls game but it's nuts to force it on players.

This. I like to hunt at the Dragonstar company stockade in Murkmire, they are enemies so killing them is no issue.
Yes you still get bounties if spotted but you can just port to an house afterward.

I have a designated assassin on my account who does my dirty work for me, created specifically for the purpose of performing his duty during such events as the DB celebration. He's not a main character, but I actually found that I quite enjoy having a character who does not think like my other characters. Creating his backstory was an entertaining delve into territory I had not explored before in writing.

Yes, I would have loved to be able to remove the DB skill line (I even wrote in to ZOS support practically begging them, lol, but unfortunately it's not possible). I do think that both the DB and Thieves Guild lines should be removeable, like vampirism or lycanthropy are, since they're not just about skills, but about morality/RP as well.
