U41 Guild History problems

    Uh, this is PS5 NA after today’s patch/maintenance. It was already bad after U41 but what even IS this???

    It might finally be time to hang up my Trade Guild GM crown. I run my guild purely for fun - it's not profit-making and I fund everything myself on the premise of giving everyone a chance to trade in a decent spot without fees or quotas.

    Trouble is, it's just hard work and doing anything with this part of the system / game always seems to play second (or third) fiddle to other bug fixes or problems, the current zoning crash issues being a case in point.

    I love the game, but I can't help feeling like it would be more fun to play if I wasn't constantly fighting it to run a trade guild !!

    I think many of us are feeling this. The leadership of my trading guilds is burned out, no question. As are a significant number of our top traders. It's depressing. And sadly it seems the problem really isn't getting much attention, as it has an outsized effect on a small number of players who put in a lot of work to create a good experience for many others.

    So I did a little test.

    I'm in five guilds:
    one of which is just a personal guild with almost no history activity;
    two more of which didn't get a trader this week so have only minimal history activity;
    and two of which are major trading guilds with a high level of history activity.

    I spent an hour last night deleting my cache files and reloading all of the data in all of these guilds.
    It was all working properly ~12 hours ago.

    This morning, every single category (except the ones that have no activity to display at all) in every single guild is stuck displaying only a small amount of history with no option to load more.

    I think it's actually getting worse.

    Have you tried using this new option to delete caches?

    If it's just one category stuck, I only reload that one bar in history menu, but if it's more I don't bother and delete all.

    You also don't really need to load entirety of history after you delete it, just what your addons are missing (at least all that I use are saving data in their own files after they pick it up). So, i.e. load missing day in LibHistoire and then hit refresh in MM options.



    I've been having fairly smooth experience after all the updates. It seems it is more likely to break if I was logged out in abnormal way like disconnect or error, but I've been going for days without cache breaking.

    I absolutely do appreciate the attempt to help, but I think the addon stuff is a bit of a distraction as many seem to be having these issues *without addons* (including people on console) and are looking for an official update from ZOS, which we were being told was being looked into on April 2nd.

    Although I am on PC myself, the guild history issues I have been reporting and trying to get acknowledged occur without any addons.

    But again, thank you for the info as I wasn't aware that libhistoire had added those new settings.

    To reset individual category in LibHistoire use Clear Cache option on that bar. Reset all is in addon settings.

    For MM, I meant this, after missing data is synced with LibHistoire:

I now have no data from the day before an am now writing names down in a notebook to keep track. :(

    Still broken and people are just getting more and more pissed by the day. Would love literally any communication besides "yeh they workin on it" because a lot of us are tired of this and TRYING to work thru burnout.

    Just chiming in that this issue is still prevalent on PS/NA. Guild history is very glitchy and bizarre. Tried the uninstall & reinstall, delete XYZ tricks. No dice.

    Problem exists and is strange on XBox-EU

    I'm an officer for a notable trading guild (Vivec City)
    * Saturday afternoon : I can see guild gold bank deposits as intended
    * Sunday afternoon : I see only 1 (or occasionally 2) most recent entries. A 2nd officer sees the same 1-2 most recent entries, **but** a 3rd officer can see the history normally (as it appeared to me on Saturday).

    This has occurred regularly (weekly / Sunday afternoon) for my account since U41 release on XBox.

    It's not a crown, it's slave shackles. And I agree that the time is coming when we will decide to remove these shackles, because they are already bleeding. Will ZOS lighten our burden?

    An additional issue has been identified with merging segments of guild history when two or more segments exist. This leads to only recent information being displayed after login and subsequent pages not displaying when they should be merged.

    Some fixes have already been completed and more are planed for the next incremental patch.

    our applications are backed up, we had almost 60 in one day. Wonder what the heck happened.

    The trading history seems to have something to do with the guild trader being active or not.

    Last week 2 of my 3 trading guilds didnt have a guild trader and I couldnt request more data the whole week for these two guilds.
    Now all my guilds have a trader again and all are working fine, can request up to a month back of data.

    I personally thank @Sharlikran , and I agree that it should be ZOS who informs us about the progress in solving problems, and not an addon author, who is not paid at all by anyone for his efforts.

    It's not like I have any privileged communication with ZOS. The developer most directly involved is very collaborative and communicates with mod authors.

    Since sirinsidiator any myself have been providing feedback and reporting issues then we are aware of the situation regarding Guild History. I don't know but maybe Kevin and Gina and others that post here more often simply don't have communication with every ZOS employee. I would think if they knew they would say something.

    I still have a frequent issue when some of my guilds refuse to load Trader history. Either there's no "Show More" button, or when I press the "Show More" I get the loading indicator and nothing happens. As a result, I have unmerged libHistoire status for a few guilds. The only way I was able to fix it was to clear the cache - but this way I lose the data and the problem just reappears later anyway.

    Looks like ZOS fixed it with today's update. I was able to link all 5 of my guilds.

    It appears that Guild History is stable irrespective of current outstanding issues. Players should be able to request data without guild categories breaking and requiring you to clear the cache.

    For anyone that has been waiting, now is the time to request all 30 to 180 days of data. (depending on category and LibHistoire settings) Try not to clear the cache unless you actually need to do so.
