If ZOS does nothing else this year, they should enable the minimap on console.
(edit: and make it so we don't need a mod on PC)
Greetings,
This thread has been moved to the Add-Ons & UI Mods section, as it is better suited there.
Thank you for your understanding.

I agree. I tried to play without it it once when it was acting up after an update and I was unable to do anything except housing and other things that didn't require me moving around the world. Without it I had to stop every few seconds and open the big map to see where I was. I just can't play that way.

Right. When I don't, I end up half way across the zone in the wrong direction.

The thread asks if players use add-ons, but only players who use them will see them here. Surely it has to be in General Discussion to serve any purpose.
Please be so kind as to reconsider.

I forgot to mention this in my last post but this is an important point: since the topic was moved both the poll and the discussion generally is going to be heavily biased in favour of those who do use addons because people who don't will have no reason to ever look at this section of the forum.

Has anyone asked @ZOS_Kevin or @ZOS_Icy to move it back, directly? They may not be reading untagged comments.
Agreed, moving the thread here has basically ruined the poll.Greetings,

some are even simpler as in "keeps the xp bar enabled at all times" because theres no game option to prevent it from fading out
one popular addon that i dont use is probably a minimap, never really felt the need for it though i could understand why people use it lol

If by the "xp bar" you mean your health bar, the base game does allow you to set it to be visible at all times, stam and mag bar too, it's first thing I do on new characters.
I said yes but I use very few and none that add anything to the UI I see whilst playing. 🙂

the base game one doesnt show the actual numbers of how much you need to level lol, its just a plain bar lol
one of the other things this addon does is add actual numbers instead of leaving it an ambiguous bar
