My hopes are mild at best. I really thought last year was going to be it, given some of the occult-flavored hints dropped. I am prepared to accept that again, but still enjoy the hype regardless.

Make it smaller so there’s less horse riding.
Use new assets from Blackwood, Gold Coast, Skingrad (possibly) to update landscape, architecture and forts with unique layouts (while still being mirrored with other factions.
Make Bruma, Chorrol and Cheydinhal closer to the mainline game and get some more in depth PvE in there too.
Add new siege weapons and Daedric artifacts
Make the faction bases reflected of what they’re bordering such as the Elsweyr gate incorporating assets from that expansion

I know people always jump on the slightest hint that could point to it! Although at least it’s more reasonable than the expectations of sea-faring in High Isle!

It is inadvisable generally to put all one’s hopes on any one thing. Spell crafting could be interesting, but I’m not expecting it at this point. My excitement has been increased by reference to Bosmer and Ayleids, possibly Falinesti (although I realize that too is probably a long shot), and some of the Daedric princes I find more interesting. I just hope for a unique zone with interesting story and characters, including two new companions, and if there’s a new system, hopefully it is something integrated with the world of the game. Also looking forward to hopefully seeing new dungeons and additions to housing.

I love cyrodiil deeply, and have explored nearly every inch of it. That said, I'd be all for them remaking it, or even deleting it entirely if it means giving us a new zone to PVP in that is structured in a way to avoid the behaviors that cause performance to be unbearable. Every time I'm running around a new zone, I think to myself "Man, it would be so cool to have some unique battles in this terrain". Apocrypha in particular - some of those twisting labyrinth style libraries would be incredible to fight in.

It's a shame it's been 5 years since we've even gotten a BG map.

Your preference, but worth knowing that Twitch is free to watch without an account, like YouTube.

It's fun being there live for reveals—it has an energy like something is about to happen. Usually I keep the chat on to see everyone go 😮😮 with every new detail lol, but it's optional.

If they do add Spell Crafting, it won't be what everyone wants. It will most certainly be restricted to a specific, instanced content. That way they can control it and remove the issues with it impacting other parts of the game.

That is an interesting point. They could create a new Arena/Dungeon/Trial where spell crafting exists, like Visions and Verses in Infinite Archive, but we get to make them.

I don’t see additional weapons being a good use of resources, especially given all the additional designs for all the motifs. Spell + 1H at least would not require that. I don’t feel that spears or crossbows would add that much, personally. New skill lines like Psijics or even additional abilities or morphs for our existing lines could potentially be more interesting IMHO.

As for vet overland, while I would like there to be more dangerous areas of the world (and especially Oblivion) and for story bosses to be tougher, I don’t see this as a selling point, more a QoL option for some players, but not the type of thing that draws new people to try the game.

I'm hoping it's Skingrad and the Colovian Estates. I'm not thrilled for a Bosmer Chapter, the only real thing I enjoy of them being the accents.

I would've been much more interested in more Skyrim Holds, or another chunk of Hammerfell.

I would have loved some more Hammerfell, but I dont think it will happen because of TES VI

It’s obvious the big reveal is going to be a new class called the Pyromancer, who will not start out with any spells/skills but will have to craft their own in various ways with hard-to-find ingredients. 😉

I’ll pass on another Imperial zone, they are all over this game.

The only Skyrim hold I would love to see is Winterhold since it was destroyed in the 4th era, it would be in its fully glory and I would hope ZOS has some real fun with that whole area since most of the area is submerged by Skyrim’s time.

I would have loved a part of Hammerfell as well.
