i think the mushroom book from the treasure map antiquity leads in telvanni/apocrypha is openable lol, so at least 1 of those items already does exist lol

The Mushroom Book has become my most sought new (Necrom chapter) lead.
But given that the lead only drops from Telvanni Peninsula or Apocrypha Treasure Maps, it doesn't come easy.

I rarely get to play with the sound on so I'll likely get more use from the tome than the music box.

I'm surprised it's one choice for everyone though, when I first read it I thought they were saying each player gets to choose 1 or the other. Since I assume they've already made both that seems like it would be a better way to do it.

There are already plenty of music boxes in game. On the other hand, a cool magical book fits the Apocrypha theme nicely and there aren't many of those around.

The book, it looks cool, and it makes more sense to favor that sister, she has the ambition to help get the family's status back, and that is what you are trying to help with. The other sister wants none of it, so why favor her? If you pick her, you're choosing to not aid them. You might as well just not do the quest, imo.

There's so many music boxes already and I'm not a fan of the bulky/in no way a box design of the newer ones anyway, so the tome by far is the superior option.

I need to be able to preview the song from the music box. No matter how cool it looks, I only buy music boxes if I really like their sound.

Based on just pictures, I would prefer book, because it has nice effects

I don't really like glow-y things and I already have a beautiful, openable non-glowing book (the mushroom one). So I'd prefer the music box. But then again, maybe the music box sounds really awful and the glow on the book can be turned off. Wish we could preview what we're voting on.

It will be interesting to see how the forum poll result does or does not match players’ voting in game; in zone chat (PC NA), the music box seems to be most popular (or have the most vocal supporters).
