The fact that some people were getting logged into the wrong accounts is a HUGE problem. That's probably why they started off by disabling mail. It sounds funny to accidentally end up on someone else's toons, run around naked and tell bad jokes. It's not so funny to learn that someone else was on YOUR account and figured they'd mail all your gold and mats to themselves while this silly "bug" was in place.I wasn't an Elder Scrolls fan until ESO. I did like the Construction Set for Morrowind, though.3

BrassRazoo✭✭✭✭✭I suspect this had something to do with the emergency "we're temporarily disabling the in-game mail" yellow system messages that spammed across the screen in multiple languages last night. There's probably some exploit they're trying to fix.
I suspect it also has something to do with the reports of people logging in and having other peoples inventory and bank.
I assume that would probably call for a rollback of sorts after a fix was found.2 -

Edit: It turns out from whence is redundant. The word whence already means "from where". Didn't get to play any ESO, but I did level up my Khajiit Grammar ***.

I've heard that too, and I completely agree. I'm also going bug-nuts insane waiting for the servers to go up, so please don't mind the odd meme pic or sarcastic comment.0 -
Z0MBiEjaw✭✭✭Just so everyone's in the know, there was an issue posted on reddit where someone accidentally sign into another person's account - randomly, without their information. Apparently it resulted in some people doing stupid things as people are prone to do i.e. taking their stuff. Servers went down at almost the exact same time that happened. So - as far as we know, since Zeni literally has not said anything useful since Early Access started - the maintenance is proper a shadow-ploy to return the lost items to the affected characters without them having to come out and verify that "yo we messed up, people got into your account, stuff is probably missing."Luminous beings, are we; not this crude matter.1
