Hello, all good, but two questions.

    1) what about our jewelry grains ? we will have no more grains, but platings... yes. What about existing grains ??? Will they be transformed into platings or will they be deleted from our crafting bags?

    2) will we have jewelry hirelings too? they are strongly desired and needed !!!

    @ZOS_Kevin

Yes, all grains will be converted to platings.
    It was mentioned on stream.

    Happy about Jewelry! Nice change.

Mixed feelings about Endless Archive: most things are good but I hoped we'd have revisited locations instead of staying in Apocrypha all the time. Also, it felt maybe too long to complete an Arc (?) Everything else about it is cool.

Really happy for Custom Group Finder! We'll finally be able to complete Direfrost Keep as "solo" players! I'll take whoever happens on board just to fill the sticker-book as a duo + companions XD

Master Crafting Stations are welcome but I'll probably never use them, playing solo.

I'll add that having more events celebrated worldwide in Tamriel altering the ambience would be pretty imo, a welcome revamp.

All in all, good job! And thanks. Keep good things coming, pleeease~

During the stream, it was announced that the first lineup of class sets were only the beginning, and that at the very least we can expect another 2 sets per class to go with the the other class skill lines at a later time.

When the Winter’s Embrace set comes out, there is a strong likelihood that it will focus on mitigation, control, or damage, like the actual skill line.

I don't like the jewellery change. Getting enough platings has provided me with a challenge, and with the rewarding feelings I get when I succeed at that challenge. The change will eliminate those things for me. I'll have so many platings I just won't have to try anymore.

There is the DK class set, which appears to be universally useful for any dk (though not necessarily BIS) then there are all the other class sets.

They range from being niche to bizarre.

-Warden class set is team healer set. It is for healing yourself and other people. Nothing else. That's not all that wardens do

-Sorc set is a complex tether maze. Whether or not it's good depends on the tool tip, whether or not it's good it's going to add a ton of visual effects to any fight that it's used in

-Necro set has potential especially in PVP by letting them self cast corpse skills. It's versatility is destroyed by being all survivability bonuses

-Arcanist set is an underwhelming support set.

-Nightblade set allows you to spend ultimate to make swallow soul hit hard, and boost healing at a huge opportunity cost... no ultimates... no Balorgh

-Templar set, once you get to 50 stacks it looks amazing. 50 stacks is a lot of stacks especially if you get one 10 second stack per dawns wrath skill.

There's still time. These are a huge thing to decide to include in the game. You can scrap it, or make the sets more broadly useful for their classes, viewing the dk set as the standard.

It was a little unclear when discussed in the stream.

Does the new Custom Group Finder allow for full, 12-man BG lobbies? I.e., can my guild finally have pre-made nights without having to try and cheese the queue system for everyone to get in the same match?

Would love some clarification on this. If so, I'd highly encourage advertising this aspect of the group finder tool, as it would be a HUGE win for the BG community.

@ZOS_Kevin could you please answer this?

I would categorize the changes as "nice to have", not as "must have".
A "must have" would be to revert several damage nerfs.
After all classes suffered from nerfs within the last years, I "converted" them to HA builds, but with the changes to lightning staves in U39 even this playstyle is no longer fun for me.
So for now I prefer a commando build with handmade and Nuka-grenades, and see no benefit for me in those changes.
In case some nerfs get reverted somewhen, I might enjoy ESOs combat again, and then be happy about the "nice to have" features. But they are not enough to bring me back for now.

Unfortunately, no. The group finder only helps to form the group participating in the activity. Once the group is formed, the queuing for the activity functions as normal. The custom option helps you to create groups for activities not defined in the provided list of activities, or set up a group for activities without a player count restriction.

So it's not creating a private lobby nor overriding how an activity function. So in this case, the group finder will help you to gather three other teammates for your 4-person team. Then you would queue like normal into BG matches. If you to use customs to group up 12 people and then queue for BG, the queue will tell you there are too many in the group.

I read in some other thread that these were just the first ones, there would be three sets for each class. Not sure where that was now, sorry!

Yeah I feel like the sets were the most underwhelming part about the reveal, and DK was the only standout... unsurprisingly.

The update has very interesting potential, but so far I don't see why I should play it yet.

I didn't realize until recently that I can do a random daily dungeon on multiple characters for 10 transmutes per first run per character. I've been doing them on 8 characters a day during the Undaunted event and gone from 3 transmutes to 500 in only 6 days.

I could take all 19 characters through but 8 is about where my patience runs out.

Yes. I really want to know before I just throw up my hands and get rid of the blue ones on my mains. I'm silly - I can't stand to delete them (unless they require the more expensive traits - because that just makes them too expensive to bother with).... and with 6 mains (3 accounts both PC megaservers) I have a LOT of blue writs....

Are you saying that everything in the Endless Archive has to be killed before you can advance? That is unprecedented. You can bypass trash mobs in the last 10 years worth of content, which can be helpful when mobs get stuck in walls, fall through floors, summon you into ceilings, and so forth.

If what you say is true, and just a single trash mob being stuck in a wall can bring an end to your hours worth of grinding because you are unable to kill it, then I predict some very unhappy players running this content in the near future. Especially since ZOS removed workarounds that have been used since the beginning.

Thanks @ZOS_Kevin. As Camera said, please pass on the feedback that the ability to have a custom bg lobby would revolutionize the bg system and draw back many players who have left. The bg community shrunk by about 75 percent in 2018/2019 from my observations, and then again in half or so back in 2021. Many left because they couldn't group for bgs (this was the case at one point), couldn't choose their game mode, and others because it is so dang hard to get 3 teams into a bg.
We will have 3 teams of 4 in queue and sit there for 45 minutes sometimes and it won't pop. Or we get 2 of our teams in and the 3rd team is random players who avoid combat and end the game in 3 minutes.
We would love to be able to avoid teams like that and play against other teams who want to fight. Because we can't choose our game mode, this would be a solution. The other solution would be to add a "deathmatch group queue" option, and not allow it to pull from the "random group queue" option that currently exists.
Please pass this all on. I really really hope the devs and owners will throw us small scale pvpers a bone.
    Thanks.

I'd like to know if the Jewelry master writs will be modified in light of the platings changes?

Their writ voucher values were significantly increased to match the hefty price of platings needed to create them and I'd like to know whether there are plans to bring them down again.

jewelry master writs are being updated

i believe going forward there will be no blue jewelry writs (not sure what they are going to do to existing blue jewelry writs, but i assuming their writ value will be rebalanced)

This is the one thing I'm really waiting for news on. When writs were rebalanced last time and massively increased in value, existing ones weren't touched and made effectively worthless, so seems a bit mean if they change them all this time

They shouldnt do anything about existing master writs. Few times when they fixed "bugged" writs that were giving 0 vouchers as a reward they only changed new ones and old ones stayed the same. They werent deleted or changed. I still have 1 Master Writ like that in my collection.
Like imagine, if u would want to "rebalance" existing writs it would be a massive amount of work as u would have to change every single one manually. It just isnt worth it. Some ppl will benefit from this a lot but its not enough to have a big impact on the market. Like 1-2 days of Zenithar event would have a bigger impact. So its just not worth an effort.

So just wait for the U40 and enjoy some very good Master Writs.

First, it was a breath of fresh air to see the enthusiasm that your team has for the new content, and the follow-up with Deltia afterward was perfect. My number one question when I first saw the sets, was whether they would have weight variations, and that question was luckily answered within that follow-up interview.

Just curious, what was the answer? 😊

When asked, Mike Finnigan replied to Deltia with a confirmation that the sets can be obtained in any weight, for example, a medium and heavy armor version of the new Templar set could be obtained.

I'm not sure if that is better or worse really. That would drastically increase drop RNG.

Hey Kevin. I’m excited for it to drop but I can’t be the only Stamblade that feels kicked to the curb. I hope the sets will include us in the future.

Anybody know what happens to those of us who already have all current 77 crafted sets in our house? Will there be an item we can purchase from Writ Voucher vendor that we can then FEED our 4x stations into? I really hope I don't have to just completely re-farm 77 item sets again :(
