    Lambert was ESO Plus, so there was a bonus. Seems that I recall 200 per stage. Maybe 400 at the end of the cycle. I didn't notice what it was at the end of the Arc, but maybe 600? So... ball park it at 4000 for the first Arc, give or take a couple hundred.

    We will find out when it goes to Live. Values on PTS may not reflect what is released when it goes to Live.

    I'm absolutely thrilled about the jewelry crafting, group finder, and new crafting station, maybe especially for the group finder. It'll be great to (a) group for things not currently covered by group finder, like DSA and trials, and (b) specify your goal/playstyle, e.g. if you want to speedrun, quest, get a certain achievement, etc. Super handy, and hopefully makes dungeons more accessible to learners. Endless Archive also looks cool, and it's nice that it's free for all players.

    My one critique... as one of the last people who doesn't (usually) play a DK in PVP, I want to beg for my life. DKs are already by far and away the strongest and most popular PVP class. 100% uptime on both Heroisms plus even more tankiness and survivability is going to just end all competition, especially when the other class sets seem more situational and/or include some kind of playstyle adjustment or handicap---building stacks, reserving ultimate, etc. If they're going to get that insane of a buff (which I'm not sure they should at all tbh), there should at least be a serious tradeoff for it.

    The sets look... meh. Can we get designs that show stat uniformity for comparison's sake?

    ie.

    2p: Adds Max Main attribute (health, mag, stam)
    3p: Adds Max Recovery Attribute (health, mag, stam)
    4p: Adds Max Damage Attribute (dmg, crit, pen)
    5p: Unique boons and buffs

    Maybe keep it clean and simple and show us the 5th that makes it unique...then tune that.


    Could even add a unique 2X feature because of the 'new' class-specific sets -

    ie.

    2p: Adds Max Main attribute (health, mag, stam) X2
    3p: Adds Max Recovery Attribute (health, mag, stam) X2
    4p: Adds Max Damage Attribute (dmg, crit, pen) X2
    5p: Unique boons and buffs

    The class sets need a complete redesign in not only what they do, but the power imbalance between them that is clearly absurdly biased in favor of the 2 currently strongest classes in PvP (one of which is also the strongest in PvE).

    Suffice to say, I would suggest going back to the drawing board for these class sets and actually listen to what players are saying about the classes with their pain points, and keep those in mind when designing the class sets.

    For Example:
    Majority of Sorcs don't want to be forced even more into pets, bring back no pet sorc which hasn't existed for years now and is seemingly getting deleted even further every time a new build pops up to bring it into D-tier.

    Sorc requires a proper heal (among other things) that is not bogged down with cast times, interruptions and otherwise punishing downsides for simply trying to participate in combat that directly conflicts with your stated combat goals of "free flowing, fast paced combat where the player feels in control and able to feel like they can have an impact in the combat" from the developer deep dive.

    Sorc needs a way to function as a class in the current game instead of the current proc carrier/pet/HA that it has been forced to use because the class kit is so horrendously designed and balanced currently thanks to being moved away from its original design of a mage with summons as a secondary option.

    I agree with others that have said class sets giving a different morph o something would be more interesting. Having them essentially just be another proc or boost but with a downside (for most anyway) does not make them wanted over other sets.

    Looking forward to Update 40!

    I plan to try the endless archive and see how I like it, and if the new sets are useful to me. Worse case, if the new sets are better than the crafted sets some of my alts are wearing while doing crafting and event quests, then the new sets will get used for them.

    The new grouping tool looks useful to me for things like 4 person arena and Bastion Nymic.

    Grand Master Crafting Stations are a useful addition to this game!

    Jewelry Crafting rebalance - finally, so tired of grains, welcome change!

    Quest and Gold Standardization - not sure of details yet, will wait and see.

    I'm tentatively looking forward to U40, especially the grand master crafting stations and jewelry rebalancing, but I will say, I'm very skeptical about the claim that this will be one of the best rewards pools ESO's added for Endless Archive, especially since it felt like it was glossed over in the stream. (Will def be checking out the PTS to see if that claim holds water.) Also, it's a bummer that the house for the upcoming event was kinda mentioned in a rush at the end; it's been a longggg time since ZOS has just given players a house (though it is conditional so again, holding my breath to see how that actually turns out for us).

    I want to be excited for the group finder, but I'm gonna reserve judgment and see how it functions at launch. That's kinda my feeling about everything brought up honestly. I love ESO, but lots of promises have been broken at this point and too many things launch super broken. So I'm very much of the mindset I'll believe it when I see it.

    Update 40 looks like what 39 should have been, outside Endless Archive. Either way, glad to see nice improvements coming to the game. If you go with a companion, you should totally get to choose their buff also in the Endless Archive. Kneecapping players that want to go with their companion.

    Only critique is wish you would have taken the time to show the controller UI.

    Regarding the Grand Master Crafting Stations. Something Rich said made me curious. He said something along the lines of: "After you've finished installing all of the sets, or crossed the final threshold, you'll get the final look." Is this an indication that there are to be no more crafted sets released? Or will the art be updated if more sets are added in the future?



    More unique consumeables from Endless Archive please:

    Small Gem of the Unseen. Using this gem will give you the Favor of Gina with a duration of four hours; slightly increases your chances of discovering a lead for an atiquity that you have not yet found.

    Grand Gem of the Unseen. Using this gem will give you the Sight of Gina with a duration of four hours; greatly increasing your chances of discovering a lead for an antiquity that you have not yet found.

    Parchment of the Improved Archivist. Using this page on a stickerbook item you have already collected improves that item to Legendary quality in your stickerbook.

    IMO you need to make golding out jewelry more expensive from the clothing (wax) and armor (tempers) simply because the items you make with jewelry use less platings overall in the new system. Not counting weapons, with clothing/armor the item needed in order to gold your gear you will need 56 wax/tempers. For jewelry you would only need 24 plates to gold all three, over time it will create a reverse of the current situation. As it sits rosen is far cheaper due to demand and plates will suffer the same drop in value. Rosen and plates should need 12 to gold IMO to keep some upgrade value.

    Although it may confuse some when it is implemented it would be better to adjust this with U40 as opposed to doing it later on. Rip the bandage off as it were.

    My biggest hope for this was that i could play it with my companions, and while yes you can you get penalised heavily for it.

    1. you get classed as a duo (don't care about leader boards so not to fussed) could be a 1.5 if use companion
    2. they done get bufs even if they were the same as yours, this is Major penalty
    3. they cannot rez you? why not let companions rez like a normal player, they can in other games, and as your classed as a duo both need to die to count as death but they cant rez you.
    4. you brought companions as a new feature and have done nothing for them since, gear system is meh, they have their set quests then that's it, they could get new ones each chapter? Just seems like such a waste of something that could be so good, and you have to put so much time into levelling them (slightly better with rapport boost) but why not give them 5% quest xp etc its grind for grind sake, feel sorry for anyone joining game and having to level 6 of them.

    General feedback just from watching the stream.
    1. Very repetitive, its like farming xp repetitive.
    2. all looks similar, when you said endless dungeon (originally) i though it was gonna be bit like sanity edge one min your in summerset next thing your in morrowind. next min your in skyrim, but no we getting few variations of apocrapher but just in stream i got bored of the visuals.
    3. yes the mobs changed and bossed changed but all look similar in same setting.

    VIP get 10% more currency meh.

    I know this is very constructive but i was expecting alot more?

    Class sets could be fun especially if have their own style etc but don't seem to have although in the pic seem to have a colour aura hope this is true.
    I know you guys could expand on this alot over time but with past features its not likely, may get an event or new rewards but its just way to repetitive, like quing for rng after rng can be a little but still way more fun that this looks.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Kevin It was a good stream; I enjoyed Finn's personality. More of him please. The content looks good, really feels like you guys are trying to make things better. I enjoyed seeing the developers play through the Endless Archive. As an idea, it seems like a good system. I think it could be made stronger as a major way to get content like houses and mounts unavailable otherwise. Class sets are interesting idea, but time will tell how effective they are.

    It behooves you guys to also be prepared to address current topics and controversies on your streams. Like gifting being disabled, PVP, and combat overhauls. I know you guys don't like being pestered, but you should know by now that people are going to ask you about those things. They have for the entirety of this game's life and I don't really see too many examples of you guys getting ahead of controversies and pain points. The strategy of "let it blow over" hasn't really helped.

    The DragonKnight set is way to much, the set will make the DK unkillable in PVP. The Sorcerer, Necromancer, Nightblade and the Templar sets are ok maybe a little tweaking. The Warden and the Arcanist is bad, as for the Wardens we have the best sets already and for the Arcanist if your trying to help on the tanking this is not the way to help. On the Arcanist set put in some health and maybe armor and it`s good. Back to the DK set, you can use the cp`s to boost the shields, use Cinder Storm and cp`s to boost the Obsidian Stance. The Molten Stance is just going to make the Ultimate pop more often, just an unkillable DK setup! Then what will happen... NERF!
