But once in a while, they give you a free and useless pet, at least something. And the free ESO+ for one week the other customers do pay for. They pay for ESO+, but in the end they can't use their paid for subscription. Sorry ZOS, but i have better things to do in my life than sitting in front of a screen for half an hour and even longer and just watch a timer passing by, to be then greeted by a "Lost connection", "Error 103" or whatever else is happening. And then i can requeue and have again to wait for half an hour to just see the same errors. If the servers can't handle the amount of connections either update the system or even better, don't hand out free games and ESO+ like candy. Unless you of course want to get rid of all existing customers.
This whole story is not getting ridiculous, it is way past this point. And it only get's worse. I don't need constantly new content (even tho it is nice). I rather have a stable game with as few problems as humanly possible. But since my almost 4 years in ESO now, it just gets worse and worse. Stuff that doesn't need to be changed is worked on, stuff that is in dire need of improvement just gets ignored. All we get are cheap, empty and meaningless excuses over and over again. Communication with the community is on a bare minimum and limited to the already mentioned excuses. This is followed by as empty promises, that are broken over and over again. The time that ZOS steps down from their high horse and stops resting on their laurels is long overdue. And it is a shame, ESO is, at least for me, one of the best games in terms of idea, story. But technically it is on par with the worst. If i would give notes out of 10 it would be:
Story: 20/10 (for me it is that good)
Graphics 10/10
Combat System: 10/10
Sound: 10/10
Voice Acting: 8/10
Animations: 10/10
Quests: 5/10
Delves: 5/10
Dungeons: 8/10
Trials: 8/10
World-Design: 8/10
Housing: 3/10
Technical: -20/10 (yes, there is a minus in front),
Communication: -20/10 (also here)
Broken Promises: Off the scale bad
Rewards: -10/10 or in other words, non-existent
Companies attitude: We won't even go there
