My first report today was in battle. The second one I think was near one, but not in the thick of it (can't recall). On another note, when I am in the other zones questing PvE, my client seems to be holding for at least 2.5-4 hrs. Thanks again for these. Was it in a battle or just moving around in Cyrodiil general? I found in testing last beta weekend it was fine riding around and questing but once I got in the mass of a castle attack it was 10-15 minutes to crash.Publius_Scipio wrote: »@Moonraker another Cyrodiil crash report.[reporter]

Thanks again @beng for posting these. In Cyrodiil, I tried to lower the setting to "low" and "none", but same results as medium settings. Tried many combinations, addons OFF. Crashed about every time in big battles, sometimes just when opening a keep door with nobody around. Confusing. I wish I could help with some of the crash reports I copied today. I can report that the ZoCrashReporter can crash sometimes too which results a double wheel of death.[reporter]

Good info. That time scale appears about right in PVE now. I expect it to increase over time as player density thins out. When I am not testing I watch the game process via Activity Monitor in the process window (i button) and when it's getting up towards 2.6GB RM and/ or 3.7GB VM I quit the game and relog. Just so I can avoid crashes in a fight as much as possible.Publius_Scipio wrote: »My first report today was in battle. The second one I think was near one, but not in the thick of it (can't recall). One thing you should do is update to 10.9.2 as it does have slightly newer Nvidia driver version:
You: gfx.driver = 2.1 NVIDIA-8.20.15 310.40.15f03
Me: gfx.driver = 2.1 NVIDIA-8.24.9 310.40.25f01May the Nine Divines help us all...Either way @Moonraker you are our greatest hope of ending the Mac issues once and for all.
Maybe different cards thought I would have assumed each Update installs them all and that the drivers work for all supported cards. Bit weird but I would have to read more.Publius_Scipio wrote: »Few things to take note of.Good info. That time scale appears about right in PVE now. I have been updated to the latest OS since it came out. Not sure why the discrepancy (maybe because different cards have different drivers?). Checked now again and there are no other available updates. Also both you and I know that the way Apple works is different from PC. On PC we could hop onto Nvidia website and download drivers. With Apple we have to wait for them to release software updates.
PvE is at 2.5-4 hrs BUT remember that's with medium shadows and textures, not high.
A strange occurrence just happened before to me for the first time. I was in town and all the sudden some players running around turned into this weird transparent colors (whole character head to toe) green and blue. Then a few seconds later I crashed. This crash was different however, it did not bring up crash reporter like before, it brought up a small dialogue box where I clicked "ignore" to close it (should have read and paid attention). Is this the Apple specific crash reporter? this strange occurrence is ESO acting up or my graphics card overheating or something?
Thanks.

@Psychotius Thanks for posting this and details. if it is crashing on launch and from the report it is not the memory issue. Possibly a server issue. if you keep posting examples I will check for see if they are memory or not. There is nothing the report to indicate why this is happening in the way you describe.Try rebooting the Mac might help.Psychotius wrote: »Crashing every 5 minutes, or sometimes as soon as it logs the character in. This means that PvP is basically unplayable if you are using a Mac. Very disappointing.
Edit: i put my crash log in quotes rather than spoiler.
Thanks again. If you can add any comments about what you were doing at the time will help also. Looks like a memory crash.voxtor_turak wrote: »Another crash report:[reporter]

@cmagiepreub18_ESO The report posted shows around 17 minutes.
Can you post your current Video settings in game, then I may be able to offer advice on what's best to tweak. Have you tried reducing the resolution in Fullscreen mode?
All the details and reports are being passed onto the development team and they are currently working on improving the current fix.
The ZOSCrashReporter does not seem to store logs, it only generates the report and send it.Is there any way to access the crash reports after the fact? Because the crashes seem to crash the report as well. I crash, without fail, every time my virtual memory gets to right around 3.9gb & the real memory 2.8gb.
In PvE, this is a good 3-4 hours. In PvP, this is usually every 30-45 minutes. I am in a PvP guild & it is beyond frustrating to get a crash every time the action is picking up and I can't ask my guild mates to stop & wait for me to reboot the client after capturing EVERY keep.
System specs:
Macbook Pro Retina 15", early 2013
2.7 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB (with CUDA Driver version 5.5.47) (2.1 NVIDIA-8.24.9 310.40.25f01)
500GB SSD
~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/eso_2014-03-01-142343_xxxusernamexxx.crash
Everything under "Graphics" is set to Medium except Water Reflection which is set to "Off." I've tried playing on low & minimum and it doesn't seem to help at all in Cyrodiil, it just gives me maybe an extra 3-5 minutes or so.
As for the crash logs, I have over 20 for ESO in that directory, I can post them all if it will help in any way, just let me know, but here's the latest three:

Good details, thanks. Can you do me a favour and just make a .zip of the reports.
Right Click one in the Console and then Reveal in Finder. Select all and then Right Click > Compress to make the archive of the ones you have and you can attach them to a post here is easier with these Apple ones. Not the .hang ones just the .crash ones. Just give the .zip file some relevant name.
Just to see what the difference is, can you lower the resolution. Also in windowed you can dynamically resize the window and make it smaller which increases performance (less for GPU to draw) It's not a workaround or anything but just to see how it effects the issue.
