@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Kevin please pass this along too, the community would totally pay for werewolf skins, like 50$ to 100$ imagine if you got that per player? ZOS would totally be rolling in the dough each quarter as everyone loves motifs, skins and elder scrolls fashion, this could be another incentive ^_^

You can have different colors for the Werewolf only if the Blood Scion gets new armor styles as well, all of these including Werewolf furs would be in the special category with the Warden Bear.

When I first started ESO after having played TES V: Skyrim, the Werewolf Lord polymorph was one of my first purchases from the Crown Store — imagine how many people would pay for customization for their actual werewolf form?

I think that werewolf skins would be really popular around this time of year, near Halloween and the Witches Festival. If some were added to the Crown Store, then they could sell alongside the Werewolf Lord polymorph, since people wanting one are likely to want the other.

Interesting page that mentions the blood stains on the muzzle after feeding, this feature was removed at one point with no explanation, but I do remember it.

Just wanted to share this, it's an early version of the 2014 werewolf model, much better than what we got

Here's a comparison of the ESO 2014 beta werewolf, the current day ESO werewolf, and the TES V: Skyrim werewolf:

    33xla864ng4g.png

ESO's werewolf, from the implementation of its skill line to its visuals, has heavily drawn from the TES V: Skyrim werewolf, as evidenced by the brown fur with the exposed skin on various parts of the body, the Werewolf Transformation timer that can be extended by feeding, and so on. In fact, when Werewolf was first implemented into ESO, you only had two skills — Roar and Pounce, mimicking TES V: Skyrim's Shout/Power button which caused you to roar, and the sprinting attack, which caused you to pounce onto the enemy in front of you.

However, while trying to make the ESO werewolf look more like the TES V: Skyrim werewolf (including changing the texture to have exposed skin on the muzzle), much of the fur detail was removed elsewhere on the body. All of the fur that sticks up on the ruff of the werewolf was stripped away — a detail which the TES V: Skyrim werewolf still has, even in Skyrim Special Edition.

Further, the face looks noticeably more lupine in the beta model than it does on the current day model. It appears as if the muzzle was shrunk in an effort to look closer to the TES V: Skyrim werewolf model. But, the facial features on ESO's werewolf aren't as detailed as they are on the TES V: Skyrim werewolf; the nose, the ears, the teeth, and the facial structure around the eye sockets are lacking in detail by comparison. Especially the nose and the teeth — they aren't as anatomically correct to wolves the way those features on the TES V: Skyrim werewolf are.

In short, barring the lack of exposed skin on the muzzle, the ESO 2014 beta werewolf model looks closer to the TES V: Skyrim werewolf model, its original influence, than the current day ESO werewolf model does. Even the 2014 model isn't a perfect replica, but it goes for a more lupine interpretation of the TES V: Skyrim werewolf model, somewhat reminiscent of the TES III werewolf model.

I wish the current day ESO werewolf would get another art pass to make them look a bit more lupine, preferably by giving them more detail like a slightly longer muzzle, a more lupine nose, more anatomically correct teeth (as seen in TES V: Skyrim), and giving them back the fur detail that they originally had.
