While we at it, throw some wings on my vampire scion while you at it. Make them a true vampire lord.
Oh and pets. Sorc pets (warden too) are in serious need of a graphics overhaul or the ability to change them somewhat.

Vampires used to have those wings on the Blood Scion, and they used to have blood spatters on their mouth and chest whenever they fed on someone, which looked kind of similar to the blood spatters you get when using the Blade of Woe. Werewolves used to have a much fluffier player model (mentioned earlier in this thread), and they also got their maw all bloody when feeding on corpses.
Here's an example of what the old werewolf and vampire feeding effects looked like:
Unfortunately, it seems both werewolf and vampire have received downgrades to their appearance, but perhaps it was in the name of performance. I hope that these elements return as they were but in a more optimized state, because they looked really cool and added roleplay value.
Ah, I hadn't realized that's the only place to see it. I know it doesn't show up when biting NPCs, so I had assumed it was removed from the game entirely. Still, I know for a fact that player werewolves don't get their old blood effects even when biting friendly players.Panderbander wrote: »Vampires sometimes still get that visual effect when biting another player.
That's an interesting way to look at it. Regular players purchase all these cosmetics and they get to show off their style as they wander Tamriel, but they don't see any of it when they're transformed. Considering the werewolf subclass is designed around staying in-form for as long as possible, we should also be able to customize the look of our lycanthrope form.Panderbander wrote: »Blood effects would be cool, but also just giving us some customization options for when we're in form. I mean, why do I care to purchase any sort of cosmetics like skins or markings when they're moot for 95% of my gameplay?

I'm in a werewolf focused guild with over a hundred members, and we would all love to have some new features for our favorite playstyle. Thanks

What the heck why did they not use this one? It’s much better than the one in game! 😩
Why ZOS why!?
It's all about performance. And why they slowed the jump down. And disabled the emotes. And disabled certain effects in large gatherings of players.
ZOS has been chipping away at the code for years, modifying or outright deleting things deemed bad for performance (like achievements for alts, anti-werewolf/daedra/undead glyphs, deer in Cyrodiil, companion and pet visibility in congested/performance sensitive zones and areas, iconic skill animations, maximum group sizes, etc). They have stated that performance is the reason for many changes in the various patch notes. So asking for more complex skins for our transformations and pets will always be met with silence. You get black or white, and that's it.

If they want to do something, add an option to change/update your appearance, a polymorph, a setting, something.

I saw an animation of the change from humanoid form to behemoth in-game somewhere so I know there is an animation for it. I remember mention in lore that there was more than one type of “werewolf” like the were-bear and maybe another that I cannot think of at the moment.
Give us a werewolf reskin (for me undead including dire wolves, please)

Devs are well aware, as this has been an ongoing request for years.
Their silence tells more than any simple acknowledgement of player desires would.

I'm sure, but I don't want to give up so easily, there have been several threads asking for this over the years that just get buried and forgotten, most people do not like how current werewolves look in the elder scrolls online. I'd even be okay if they restored the 2014 beta model, or made it an optional skin you could get..
