Those buffs work mostly on pve. Its easier rotation for noobs just activate empower and hold one mouse button to deal damage. Similiar to skyrim where's heavy attack was good attack.

It seems like ESO devs are ok with animation canceling and weaving or they'd just eliminate this mechanic since new players can't do it. The only debate now is: how much should light < medium < heavy (fully charged)

Get it now? Hope that cleared up some of the confusion. 😁

Medium attacks don't restore resources, only fully charged heavies do.

I thought the damage AND resources returned scaled, based on the length of time the attack is "charged", up to a fully charged HA that does the max damage and returns the max resources.
We are seeing 7k+ parses over LA too after just four days of practicing. It's hilarious.
