Strange. I wonder if they are throttling your connection in the day, I know some ISPs do. I cant really see how that would cause such high pings and DC but.... Im in england but with BT and have no issues so it must be VM.

@DanBlackfyre Not entirely true, I happen to work in IT, yeah who doesn't these days, as an SDM. The problem is not local, is resides either on the network or the server.
One person who posted in this thread is with Virgin and then swapped to a BT open Wi-Fi Connection, and hey presto he's able to play. Which makes me think that some ISPs are handling the traffic differently , for what ever reason I don't know, although it has been suggested that some are classifying it as P2P not Server Client.
Sadly the complete lack of a coherent response is hampering the fault finding
