On endless character loading screen, watch your cpu usage , it goes up fast and my graphic card temp climbed dangerously hot. shut it down to prevent a costly problem, thanks ZOS. The problem is more complicated than " too many players".

I was able to get on for 20 mins or so but then made the mistake of switching characters. So for the last half hour its been endless loadscreens, drop outs, "1 second" queues again all over again.

Though even when I was on, bank, guild bank, guild store, mail was really unresponsive again.

This is totally inexcusable for a game that has generated this much revenue and is now owned by Microsoft. I try not to complain but the last few weeks have been nothing short of pathetic. Does Microsoft know about this? Are they even involved?

Well I guess I need to post, I'm not one to post but since I am having endless trouble trying to log on only after the new update and the backend account database changes which I feel is causing these issues. (Unsure if this has been actioned on the megaserver but Zos has posted these changes)
Problems I am getting after update 33
1. Log in Queue - fails to log in at all and DC the client - endless attempts to relog only to hang
2. Error message unable to connect make sure you have a valid internet connection ???
3. New one - Repair client - unable to match version of client - Went to help page and tried all didn't work only made the client ask to repair all the time in endless loop - I reinstated the deleted files and repaired gain - Allowed to see play button on launcher again but then only to get the above cycles all over again.

So I feel the backend filtering of old and new has caused an account mismatch and causing this trouble to log on and queue time also adding the error unable to connect as well...

Its rather sad that after years on finally finding a game that I enjoy playing again only to be broken from these ongoing problem after updates. Yes I know this happens but you have a PTS
An old saying "if its not broken why try and fix it."

Anyway that's my plug.......

I see many others having the same trouble.... So what are you able to do and fix this asap....

This is definitely screwed up. I hope ZOS isn't undergoing some sort of DDoS.

Same issue as everyone else. 3 people crashed during a HoF and could not log in.

Same. 3 times I've tried to get into the Festival Arena. It just sits there, and then logs me out.

If they were being DDoS'd, they would benefit from just saying it outright at this point, because then I would feel sorry for them. Right now, all I feel is rage that I keep giving this game a chance.

Just when you think you've made it and you are in, the next load screen has a 90% chance of bumping you out. The real challenge is staying logged in.

Hate to tell you, but token pets don't cut it. I pay for three subs. I don't expect your service to be up 24x7x52,
but I do expect reasonable service. Hire better programmers or buy better or more equipment or whatever you need to do to make it more reliable, or you can expect to see your profit margin going in the wrong direction. Seriously. We're not here to be your friends. We're paying to be entertained in a minimal stress environment. And while the game itself is great, it is not a minimal stress environment when we have to deal with these issues on a semi-regular basis.

Just wanted to say: thanks for this thread.

I honestly was worried that it was something on my rig's end. After Title Update 33, I started getting the Error 209 message repeatedly. Finally got so sick of it yesterday that I uninstalled and reinstalled my game yesterday out of desperation. Seemed to work, until today.

Error 209 over and over, Error 304 over and over, brutally long load screens, etc.. A darned shame, because I love this stupid event and I hate to see it marred by technical mishaps.

Here's to hoping the gremlins reveal themselves to you, Zenimax Online. In the meantime, I'll keep trying to chisel away at this event while reading a book during the load screens. It's about time I earned that darned Dubious Cameron Throne recipe, and I was hoping to pull it off this year by guild trader or RNG. Guffaw.

I was able to get in and play yesterday, but no go today. Endless loading, several different error messages…. It was trying to load my character finally and ended up kicking me for inactivity because it was taking so long. No tickets for me today!

May as well turn the new card game into a solo/solitaire type thing with physical cards so you don't even need to log in.

I tried logging in for 30 minutes, failed. Getting kicked for inactivity while requesting character load.

Crashed four times trying to just go through the cave in to kill the king boar, where I saw multiple other people also stuck crashing before that same cave door. after getting kicked multiple times trying to log in to that character again, im going to try swapping characters and doing a different jester quest just to get my tickets. *if* I ever am even able to get logged in.... I'm on try number three now. Debating which quest has NO doors or log in screens, maybe stonefalls pig quest or running across Auridon. This has what this event has turned in to.

Please for the love of god if youre going to post saying you fixed the issues with the server actually fix it. I have been trying to log on for an hour and it’s honestly just sad at this point.
