Group finder is broken again

PC N/A - Single sign on Steam

Hi , since the New DLC Monday, this has not works. I only got a dungeon after teaming up with 3 others from guilds. The longest I have waited until I gave up and log off is 3 hours, and was on my holy healer.


Well just a heal role. But still, heals and tanks are auto pop. Why is this happening, more to the point do you know ZOS and are you fixing it? Please reply.

Im also being affected by this too. I often queue for dgns. As a healer I havent gotten one to pop. Why is there an exp increase event when the problem hasnt been solved yet?

Because if the problem were solved there wouldn’t be a need for the event…

Replacements are bugged with normal queue.

It will forget that it's searching for replacements when entering doors or pulling out companion.

Two person queue works way better then 1 person queue with a tank or healer in group.

DAMN!!! its been awhile since group finder has been so broken, but all my tanks (which are normally a max of 5 minutes to wait; healers about 15 max minute average) have been stuck for over hours ( about 2.3 hours max before I quit). It is soooooo bad. I have had to settle for normal Pledges just to get some keys from Z one chat and it still took my a few reloads before the group could invite me ( yes they had their companions put away). So horrible!

Manually group with 3 others. I find craglorn is always willing or captial cities. Maybe starter cites too to get some non dlc dungeons with a lowbie

As long as every dd keeps queueing as not-wanna-be-tank/heal, there won't be dd's to fill those real-dd spots. Everyone just queue for the roll you want to play, and all will be fine.

Additional info.

Not to do with the group finder, but perhaps associated with the processing delays.

From my earlier post where for first time I had a really terrible experience on even a premade group and dungeon, I had collected some new gear. Closed down for the night without

1) "collecting them" or
2) deconing them (which triggers the collection anyway).

Opened back up this morning, and the update that came on screen from the first toon I opened was something like "23 new sets collected". However, at max, there were only about 4-5 new sets if. Even if the system is doing this across all toons, it would only be maybe 20 sets. I have never seen this issue before when a new item, not deconed or owned, flashes up the next time - say after 6-8 hours - with such an error in the number of sets. Normally, it would be only the quantity i.e. 1-2 or whatever.

Not the first time that I noticed this since Monday.

Just incase these folks you call Devs see this if it is connected or causing the slowness in the processing, if it is trying to do something "extra" in processing a new gear pieces across all toons of the account in a different way from what it did before.

Any new "set" piece was always accessible to all toons, but it would still process as "1 set".

Anyway, for what it was worth. Logins this morning, wayshrine to wayshrine, and new toon logins were all okay. Did not even try to dungeon though.....

i still havent tried the queue outside of a full 4 person group (this works fine)

dungeons themselves seem to be running fine for me, and yesterday the game seemed pretty stable (only occasionally still getting unusually long load screen instead of majority of them)

I am missing out on 606,000 xp per day as I would be running all 3 toons through randoms during this event... And there are others who would be running 8-12+ randoms a day, who are loosing millions of xp per day!

Had a full, correct composition group last night. Queuing for shipwrights worked as expected. After that we queued for coral aerie twice. Both failed because the ready check did not acknowledge one or two persons input. We were all in voice, heard "I hit f but it says I'm not ready" a few times. We gave up and ported into coral aerie after the second ready check failed. Shortly after the first trash mobs, we got another ready check despite it saying we weren't queued anymore.

Solo queue of course is impossible as healer. Waited and nothing happened, but with more people it was instant

I grouped up on PC NA Vet with tank yesterday with no luck. Trying this morning and still no luck. This needs to be fixed.

Group Finder in ESO has always been a hot mess.

It was originally a hot mess.

It was “fixed” and that made it an even hotter mess.

It was rebuilt but it was still a hot mess.

And it’s still a hot mess.

But we have another two new dungeons so, hey, new stuff.

On PC EU it is running quite normal.

I only play Heal and Tank, no probs.

Only bug appears in pre-formed groups including Tank, Heal and DPS - the DPS must queue, otherwise you wait for hours.

I took a 2 YEAR break from the game. Dungeon finder was constantly broken 2 YEARS ago. 2 YEARS later, this is still an issue? How is this still happening after all this time?

Before update 33 I used group finder solo as a dps ever day with no problems. Now as been said it's a hot mess.

It should also be said that Battleground group queue is also playing up and also needs looking into. 30 minutes to 1 hour+ queue times when matches last less than 8 minutes are not acceptable.

Same. Sometimes you can't even get a group together as the invite sender sees everyone decline, and after hitting accept by the recipient, you get a message saying "that user is busy".

Still not getting in - my main dungeon alts are a healer and a tank - I've been waiting upwards of an hour+ on each before giving up, doing other things, forgetting I had the PUG finder on until I realized it was on and turning it off.

Normal wait time, pre-patch, was max 2 minutes. Normally it was more like 15 - 30 seconds.

I'm on the PC-NA server.

I tried to queue yesterday afternoon on healer for a random vet (PC/NA) and was in-queue for over an hour with no luck. Tried swapping toons and gave up after another 30 minutes.

Trying this morning and I've been in queue as a healer for a random vet for 20 minutes already and no sign of the queue popping.

My and some of my guildies queues have not worked since patch.

The one time it did, I was "randomly" queued with the same 3 people 8 queues in a row. We talked and found out we 1) don't share friends lists or guilds, and 2) our mutual queues would only pop when each of us, individually and separately queued.

Between almost all of my progs canceled this week due to people not being able to stay logged in or log back in, severe lag for all parties, and now queues not working, what part of this game is playable for PvE people. It is far from okay.

Weren't combining people's achievements supposed to help the servers? yikes.

Everything is busted. Can't queue for dungeons. Can't queue for BG's. I joined a group for a random normal dungeon and never got my transmute crystal reward. I'll be taking a break from the game for several days until they fix this. Really inexcusable. And, as always, deafening silence from ZOS.
