Never done Craglorn chat before.

Do you mean that they are collecting a full "group" first and then queueing for Group Finder or just entering the dungeon?

Collect a full group then queue. Don't forget to tell friends and guildmates

Just a quick FYI...

It's the matchmaking part that is broken today. If you get a group of 4 through chat you can then queue for a random and that part works fine.

It's how I've been doing my purple daily randoms today.

I was excited to grind the Undaunted skill line as its one of the few I haven't maxed out yet due to how slow it was.

But with finder down and the everyone swarming Craglorn to group up 2006 Runescape style by spamming in chat I'll pass until its fixed.

It surprises me when updates cause breaks that are so easy to reproduce. Surely they have basic regression testing before go live?

Yesterday (15th March) I queued as solo healer for a random norrmal. Quit queue after 40 minutes and did some other stuff. Logged in an hour later on an alt and joined 2 other guild-mates to queue for a normal new dungeon. We made sure we were only looking for 1 dps which in the past would have taken seconds to fill on release of a new dungeon. Still in queue 20 mins later when another guild mate logged on. We left queue, added new guild mate, re-queued and were in the dungeon with our 4 person pre-made in seconds.

The group filler part of the dungeon finder seems very broken.

Hello there!

I can confirm it is not working at the moment. I tried to queue as tank, healer and dps for 40 minutes.

Sadly, it's the part of this game I like a lot, doing random daily dungeon and undaunted. I rerolled and learned tanking just for that reason:P

Hopefully the EOS dev team is aware of this.

It was fine until the hot fix yesterday. Like I personally used group finder in the morning but broke in evening on launch day

Very sorry to hear that man

In the future, I would advice to take vacation few weeks after. I did that in a WoW release expansion (disaster, waited hours and hours just to login)

A very persistent guildie managed to queue into a dungeon after letting it run for 4 hours... so, it works...

Update:

Maybe this will help debug the issue. Random normals are now counting as quest rewards. I definitely don't recall this being true before now.

Any community managers around that can pass this issue to developers? Like at least comment here to let us know they're aware of this issue.

I only did one rnd yesterday as dd and waited for 5 minutes, our tank was fake and we glmot scalecaller peak so it left, we got a replacement before getting to the first boss (PC EU).

The issue seems to be only affecting PC NA at the moment!

Also, we had a full group that que'd and it popped instantly, but something was causing it to lag and not accept 1-2 randomly from our group, it was never the same person twice. We had to re-que about 10 times before it finally worked, then the load screen which usually takes about 5 seconds for me on my computer took about 4 min or so and I was the first one in the dungeon, had to wait a couple more min for everyone else.

Once inside we were fine but server lag for load time was insane

PC NA - queuing alone doesn't work, regardless of which role is chosen. If you queue for random dungeon with a complete group, the finder tool will work. Didn't test it with a group of 2 or a group of 3.
PC EU - queue times are similar to queue times previous to update, regardless of the role chosen.

and those F2P games have much less going on and are not worthy in any aspect to be comparable to ESO. It is why they are F2P to start with.

Battleground queue seems to work for Solo, but Group is bugged. Cannot get in when grouped. We gave up after about an hour. Full group doesn't fix this for BGs.

Not really. GW2 and STO are very active and offer just as rich an experience as ESO.
