I had 25 mins queue and it wasn't even prime time. I also tried on healer thinking maybe there's no healers in queue...

A better question: What is a reasonable timeframe to expect ZOS to acknowledge that they are aware that there is an issue with the group finder on PC-NA?

Not really. GW2 and STO are very active and offer just as rich an experience as ESO.

GW2 has restrictions for F2P players such as not being able to access raids or other features of the game. Hardly a good comparison.

STO has never been close to the quality as ESO. Cryptic games are fairly low quality. Their active populations are also fairly low in comparison but it is because the games are not that good. Ok stories when there is nothing else to do, but not very good. Granted, from a ST fan perspective it is fun for a bit but that is about it. No really knocking the games, they serve a market which is either people not wiling to pay or ones that go for heavy P2W.

I carefully thought about this.
I cancelled my sub for the only reason that ZOS is not supporting, monitoring or communicating at all. Days with a major issue like this, nothing at all. They should take a great example over other games where they communicate even in the game hub to reassure people they're aware and working on it. I even saw compensations to players waiting for that specific fix. 2022, gamers expect more.

It's not like in the past where WoW and DAoC players would happily wait hours just to get in and happily give 15$ per month for nothing but bad experience.

I also opened a ticket with no success. It shows to me that ZOS is not a company that cares about the service they provide.

Hey all, just a heads up that we just posted a thread about this issue right here. We can confirm there are indeed some issues with the Activity Finder, as many of you have noted, and we are actively making some adjustments in an effort to prevent this from occurring again today.

For what it is worth, the "CRAGLORN" or "Pre-group" fix seems to work.

Tried last night solo, did Mage guild dailies while I was waiting and bowed out after 20 min or so.

Headed to Craglorn, saw someone looking for tank. Said yes, they brought in the rest, and we got in within 2 min.

At that end, 3 of us hung together as a group, someone brought in the fourth, queued for VoM vet, and again got in relatively quickly.

But tried this morning solo on Group finder, and bowed out after 15mins.

This is what I am trying to get across, we had a FULL group of 4 and the que would pop instantly as normal but it took 12 tries before it finally let us in so no, the tool will NOT always work.

They are closing posts in the bug report forum, so it appears they are aware of it and working to fix it. That is good to know.

Can confirm solo queue still isn't working. Someone got 3 person queue though

At one point ... couldn't leave queue on a different character

It's still not working. The strange thing is, the day the patch was released, early that day, it worked fine, but by evening it was broken.

Waited 10 - 15 plus mins as healer and tank. One account with cp the other without

I do a random normal every day at around the same time. I've been doing this for months. I normally never have to wait more than 20 minutes for a dungeon.

Yesterday it took me well over **2 HOURS** to get into a dungeon, and when I finally did get a ready check on my screen, hitting the key to indicate my readiness was not working. I had to hit it repeatedly, and it would not accept my input. It finally went through mere seconds before the time was elapsed. I nearly missed out on the dungeon I waited over 2 hours for.

The previous day I had a similar problem, but that time my input didn't take at all and I was booted from the queue.

Today I've been waiting for nearly an hour and a half so far. Who knows if I'll get in or if I'll get booted again...

Very frustrating, to say the least. I don't know what ZOS broke this update, but something major has gone wrong.

Edit: I give up. I guess no more dungeon queue until this is fixed.

About a hour ago it was working just fine (at least for me), queued for the 2 new dungeon with healer in few minutes each. Now, a hour later with another healer, it does not seem to work...

Still broken.

DPS here, it never has taken more than 10 minutes to get into a dungeon.

Since update rolled it's been impossible. I cancelled queue after 30 min. I don't have the patience.

Not really anything to argue about here, its undoubtedly broken and they have acknowledged as much. I'm a little surprised there isn't a little more urgency in a fix given they just dropped a new dungeon pack and many people will get into said dungeons through the now broken group finder... But who really knows whats going on behind the scenes.

So normal solo doesn't seem to work on tank or healer, but with 2 people it's instant queue.

Finding replacements isn't working...I am sure there's DPS in queue but none ever pops

Veteran randoms works on solo queue. Instant on healer or tank. I heard DPS in zone saying vet times are good too.

37 minutes in queue as a healer for Random Normal before I gave up and logged out.

40 plus mins as a healer on normal random

Solo queue on random normal is very broken

I can queue with stadia ally no problem and get instant queue while they are DPS and I am healer

P.S
So vet queue works but normal is broken and you can't even get replacements on normal, but no issue vet.

Finder tool for random dungeons on NA is only working with pre-formed groups.
So, the "solution" is to ask in your guild(s) or in zone chat(s) if anyone wants to run a random.
