Carpenter regret show some rather horrid animation transition (or total lack of it)

Za'ji after the first boss when jumping down the pillar just instantly change pose form standing to the final falling position then back to standing when landing also seems the gravity is altered around him as the fall speed is totaly different than if a player jumped from the same location

The ship at the end also instantly going from full stop to "top speed" looks just weird even more so the sails are totaly frozen in place, would have looked better with the sail visualy getting deployed as the ship start to accelerate to quickly reach its cruise speed

Hard to unsee once you noticed it

Interesting, pre-purchased High Isle chapter. I am an ESO Plus member which supposedly includes DLC's, yet if I want the Ascending Tide DLC it looks like I have to buy it. If this is the way High Isle is going to go it may be disappointing to say the least. Look out ESO members may get stranded on some isle somewhere.

I can access the dungeons in this DLC just fine - yes, ESO+ on two accounts. You don't need to "access" the DLC through the store, just log in normally, and find the new dungeons. I'm not in game right now, but IIRC they're in base game zones.

ESO+ has always covered everything BUT the latest avaiable expansion, every dungeon are open to ESO + members, those aren't part of the Ascending Tide expansion wich release in a few months

ESO Plus gives you physical access to the Dungeons, you just don't own them. That's why you can still buy them in the Crown Store.

the good, the bad, and the ugly:

    good:
    - the LOOK of the new structural furnitures

    bad:
    - bosmer female walking animation. It is a detail, but an important one, as you permanantly watch the back of your character. And it no longer looks "cute", the main reason to play a bosmer for many

    ugly:
    - 12-16 ancient sandstone for a furniture. Has been elaborated before, but this is a real showstopper encouraging me NOT to pre-purchase high-isle. I don't like such "innovations".

I have really enjoyed the new dungeons but I have been struggling with terrible lag now. That didnt happen before the maintenance. Is anyone else having this issue? I even lag in my house when decorating and my friends have had issues as well.

Enjoyed both new dungeons. Shipwright's Regret has an incredible atmosphere to it.

Hybridization of skills really opens up the whole class skills to every build and I am enjoying experimenting with all the skills and builds ways to build each character. It would have been nice if you gave us skill respect free for a week or two to make experimenting easier. Since console does not has a PTS to practice with nor apparently as much gold as PC has the cost can add up if you try many different things.

Not sure, the reason for Templar skill backlash did not see the hybridization as well. Two hand carve skill cost excessively much. Sure, it can have a 30-second DOT but in solo play, you do not need a DOT to last that long 99% of the time.

Like the AWA overall but you completely broke the Zone guide regarding skyshards. This is one of the things that you should have left for each individual character. In the Deadlands on an character that has did part of the zone quest last month and came to finish it but the Zone guide said I had 5/6 skyshards but showed all competed. The achievement used to help in figuring out which one I missed before but not now. I have to revisit each one to figure which one I missed. Now if I had done the entire story quest to a week period I could remember which one I had collected and not. At over a month and many other characters played in the same past month. No way could I remember which I had done and which I had not collected.

    Stay safe :)

    PS5:
Aside from a few day 1 bugs, that haven't repeated themselves yet, (being permanently stuck in a group long after it was disbanded), it has largely been uneventful.

It is noticably darker, even with the brightness now maxed.

The break free shout seems to be missing entirely. (It's always funny hearing the "YAAAAAAAAAAA!") I'm not sure if it's a bug, or yet another sneaky unlisted ninja change.

I'm largely indifferent to the account wide achievements. I never really had a main, so it doesn't bother me.

The game does load noticably faster. It takes literally like 5 seconds to go from the character select screen to in-game, and vice versa.

    The dungeons-
Coral Aerie was pretty, as is the norm with most Summerset related things. I've done it a few times on vet, and it was fine, difficulty-wise. I soloed it once on normal. I haven't tried the hard mode yet. It looks busy. The new animations for the swirling water on first boss and the waves on last boss are snazzy.

Shipwright's Regret is where I've spent the majority of the patch, farming. The general design and aesthetic is one of my favorites. It's very spooky and gothic, with a smidge of Lovecraftian vibes. The difficulty is also fine, and the hard modes don't seem nearly as stressful as Coral Aerie. I do wish that there was a way to tone down the khajiit npc fellow. It's fine for an initial quest run, but he talks A LOT. I really hope that the trial doesn't feature him this heavily. Maybe I've just ran it too many times. XD

I somewhat feel like the titles from the dungeons themselves fell kind of short. Granted, I am thankful that it's not another (insert word)'s Bane or Bane of (insert word) for the millionth time, but they just feel kinda "meh". The last dungeon titles felt powerful and had weight: Dreaded, Incarnate. There's not really any sense of that behind things like Privateer or Gryphon Handler. It's hard to describe. They just come across more as titles that are unlocked through questing, and not probably the most difficult hard mode dungeon in the game.

Randomly, I do really like the Sword Dance emote. It's a really fluid and cool animation.

That's all that I can really think of at that moment.

I have noticed that the worse FPS in towns has to do with incomplete shader cache building. Probably every player knows that after an ESO update, the CPU usage goes on 100% for a longer moment. This is because a file called "ShaderCache.cooked" is recreated, which I discovered when checking Windows' Resource Monitor. It looks like the shader compilation process is half-broken since this current update. Because the maximum CPU usage occurs quite frequently when teleporting to new areas and seeing new players. This was not the case previously. So it appears the game needs to build shaders live, that would normally be prebuilt in advance. And that this causes the major frame drops and 100% CPU usage spikes. Can this be looked into? With this description it should be possible to pinpoint the issue. Thank you!

Done both dungeons once , story mode with guildies, and I loved them. I'm biasad to anything Summerset connected, I love that zone aesthetics and landscape and all. Also the come back of two fav characters was great. Based on it I have pleasant expectations for the High Isle.

AWA didn't hit me, personaly, as much as others, but I do think it should have been introduced in a better way and with better communication.

My only real gripe is the furniture in Fargrave :) two windows that you can't match because of different colours.

Generally well done, looking forward to June.

Is there anything we can improve in the future?

    ...

So.... should i post link to the feedback on PTS that got ignored? U know, there was plenty of ideas how to implement AwA without hurting anyone.

Not only that. U KNOW what ppl want. U are just ignoring it. I could link all threads about PvP, Outfit System, Housing System, Dungeons and Rewards, Story Mode in Dungeons, Optional Harder quest bosses and important NPC, Build variety and a lot more. But why should i do it if u gonna just ignore it? If 90 pages of feedback wasnt enough for your response i dont know what we would need to get it. And there is no point saying more. Threads about problems on live will say the rest.

Sorry but even as a person who loves dungeons i cant be happy about this update.

    Legit.

Amongst other feedback threads of higher traffic volume as well.

There is zero point to feedback threads. There's also zero point to PTS.

I wouldn't say that. It's a handy place to practice parsing with free spell / battle draught pots. (Yeah you're right though, it's pretty useless as far as a route to providing feedback goes)
