Pre-launch I purchased one of the Guar plushes that came with a code.
Still have my plush sitting by the TV, but I'm xbox, so I've never been able to use the code.
Maybe one day that lil Guar will be able to join me on my adventures.
There's quite a few from various places.
As well as the ones already mentioned there were 2 or 3 which were given to people who paid for certain amount of subscription time in the first year (I remember an ice wraith and a dwarven sphere, not sure if there was another one), a pig which I think was only available as part of a real-life promotion and a mud crab or something you got for buying real life merchandise.

The rarest mount is the Hollowjack Flame-Skull Senche, radiant apex mount from the hollowjack crown crates.

How do you know that's the rarest? I didn't know ZOS had ever released sales data for the plush toys, so I'm not sure how anyone could work out which of them sold the least and therefore has the rarest pet.

Yes! These are what I consider the rarest pets.
My favorite, Bristlegut Piglet from 2014 QuakeCon.
Then theres the Ice Wrath Pet for 3 month loyalty reward~
Dwarven Sphere for 6 month loyalty reward~
Also, like the guar mentioned earlier, they had a Whiterun Wolfhound available with some "Skyrim" promotion that gave a ESO Pet code, around 2014 or 2015 iirc... Then the Mudcrab from a Con in 2016??
I know there is a few more, but IMO, these are the rarest as they were not available in game and no longer available.
And of course the Beta Monkey..Blacknight841 wrote: »Rarest pet by far is the Crony Scrib, awarded as a code with the purchase of a plush collectible.
The rarest mount is the Hollowjack Flame-Skull Senche, radiant apex mount from the hollowjack crown crates.
The rarest mount is the Stripped Sench Tiger given as a Loyalty Reward.
My Two Drakes!
Huzzah!
I use Atmoran Bantam Guar on my main character since May 2019, when those surveys were sent
This pet is also the symbol of good old days for me.
Nowadays,
when everyone can easily get old vDSA and vMA weapons from normal modes,
when all titles and skins are sold as carries everywhere,
when Champion Points have no meaning and no power,
when Radiant Apex mounts can now be bought,
when exclusive items can soon be earned for Seals of Endeavors...
...this little buddy is still priceless

Have the Bristlegut Piglet from 2014?
And the Mudcrab that came with the irl plush toy (2015? idk...). Gave the plush toy to lil niece or nephew lol, kept the code ofc.
Have some very red firey guar from a Quake Con a few yrs ago, which oddly looks almost exactly like the red glowy guar they released to everyone like 6 mos later rip lol.

I spent a good amount of time collecting images of the pets. To be exact, it took me over a year to track down someone with that pet. Any pc pet from before the transfer is rarer than the ones you could get on all three servers once One Tamriel came out. PC pets that were awarded as part of a physical item are rarer than those that were offered as a digital item in game. Let 7 years pass by and they will be the rarest pets on the servers among the active community. It’s not some elaborate equation, it’s mostly common sense. Those pets are not being recycled, so they have a finite supply on the servers, while pets like the purple bantam guar or twitch rewards are give out with every passing stream.
Based on the source of each pet… The number of players still around after 7 years, that happened to attend Comic-Con in 2014, and purchased the plush fighters guild journeyman is by far the lowest number.
I'd gotten the beta monkey.
When the game launched, someone in our guild had the alpha / closed beta pig.
I'm not finding any information about this pig. Does anyone else have it or know what it was called?
That pig might be the rarest of the rare.

That would probably be a Bristlegut Pig. I believe that these were originally give out by code cards.
They may have been from an early Quake Con
Later on, these became a monthly login reward.

Yes, those were given out at the Quakcon 2014. I had a hook up and got 12 that I raffled off in my guild. What was offered later in login rewards were different than the originals. Different skin. And yup, they are rare.
