Rare Pets?

After looking through my pet menu and wondering about ones I don't have, I had to think about those which may not be normally available.

In the past there have been in-game events, DLC items, promo codes, twitch exclusives, and a whole lot more.

So what are the rare pets that you have and would like to show off?

I have the beta monkey on my pc/mac account, but as I primarily play on PS5, I don't get to use it much

This is Jingles, the Frostbane Guar. It was available as part of the Undaunted Event several years ago. I'm sure many people remember doing the undaunted dailies on all of their toons and still not getting the Frostbane that they were after!

Murkmire blob that was part of worst event in ESO...they learned we weren't a fan after that fiasco.

Also some pets from thinks like sign up for news letter or just login. Fawn, dwaren spider, ugly robot snake that came in exclusive colors based on system, purple arbuck from vanderfall

The Pre-Order Explorer Pack came with the "Skuttler" vanity pet as an exclusive.

There was also the Sep Adders giveaways that were unique to each server... Xbox Green, Playstation Blue and PC Red.

There's quite a few from various places.

As well as the ones already mentioned there were 2 or 3 which were given to people who paid for certain amount of subscription time in the first year (I remember an ice wraith and a dwarven sphere, not sure if there was another one), a pig which I think was only available as part of a real-life promotion and a mud crab or something you got for buying real life merchandise.

I got mine from a discord giveaway from KayPowXD, she does these things regularly so there is a good chance. And some streamers give them out via Twitter, so if you have an account there have a look at the Stream Team Partners accounts.

Sep adders had to be ugliest oets every go come in game

Tyvm! I'll check these leads out. 👍 I have Twitter and Discord. I'm not sure how a giveaway is done on Discord (still kind of new to it) but I see she has other social media accounts. It feels a little skeevy to stalk people to get a naked purple chicken. 🤣

My frostbane wolf Is literally the only pet I use these days, i love him so much.

Was the booger rare? I got that pretty painlessly, don't use it much though - or the reskinned void snot from the reach. Never did finish the grave stake collectible though.

Yea, I was a little disappointed to not get a survey for that one. Do you know if the purple one is still going to be given out or did someone have a leftover code for you?

Uff, same! I hope they bring the one from the survey back!

The purple guar is def still going (I think the hot-blooded one might be not though, at least they don't have many codes anymore). I know that AesmaTV and some other streamers give them away regularly on Twitter and kayPowXD gives them sometimes via discord. Both really nice streamers so if you enjoy nice ESO content and want a chance for a code that would be the place for you!

Rarest pet by far is the Crony Scrib, awarded as a code with the purchase of a plush collectible.

The rarest mount is the Hollowjack Flame-Skull Senche, radiant apex mount from the hollowjack crown crates.

Unless there's some sort of retro event that offers mounts from the past, I'll be missing out on some pretty cool ones. I saw one yesterday that looked like a blue horse skeleton. Awesome looking too!

I would say only medium rare since if it is from murkmire event, then it will probably come back.

I'm not saying every pet in that list is rare of course, but all the rare ones should be on there. Although it is out of date in some places, for example it says the Dusky Fennec Fox is only available from login rewards, but it's also been in crown crates, and some pets are missing.

How do you know that's the rarest? I didn't know ZOS had ever released sales data for the plush toys, so I'm not sure how anyone could work out which of them sold the least and therefore has the rarest pet.

Pre-launch I purchased one of the Guar plushes that came with a code.

Still have my plush sitting by the TV, but I'm xbox, so I've never been able to use the code.

Maybe one day that lil Guar will be able to join me on my adventures.
