That effected European servers on ALL platforms. This is platform specific, and it look especially sketchy considering it happens only to PlayStation servers days after Microsoft officially owns Bethesda.

Do you really really really think that they are doing this deliberately to a huge portion of their players just because Microsoft inked a deal to buy them just a few weeks ago?
No.

So would Microsoft purposely have Bethesda make the QOL for PlayStation users worse in order to get them to buy an Xbox or PC and buy an Xbox Games Pass?

Don't be a fanboy. Corporations do this stuff all the time, and Microsoft is chief among them to do it.

Apple admitted to purposely slowing old iPhone speeds and reducing battery life in order to force them to buy new iPhones. So would Microsoft purposely have Bethesda make the QOL for PlayStation users worse in order to get them to buy an Xbox or PC and buy an Xbox Games Pass? If Apple does it to their own users, then yes, Microsoft could do it to PlayStation users.

The difference is that there's logic in a (purposefully) reduced battery life leading to the purchase of a new phone. It makes less sense that severely poor communication, time-management and laughable compensations would lead to anyone going for another round of torture on a different platform... They'll just have customers walk away from their product entirely
