    I'm so glad they reverted. I always loved going solo heal into PvP to help my alliance.

    Glad to hear this. Have been quite happy to go out to Cyrodill alone on any one of my four healers and just do my thing. Look at the map, find I seige, trot out there are get to it. Very fun. If I find a group great, but if not, also great. Good news :smile:

    Hmmm... Now that the healing other people outside of the group is back I wonder what this means for everyone wearing the Pale Order Ring like myself. Wonder what kind of situations that'll cause because I already know the thing drives my one healer friend up the wall who loves seeing everyone at full HP. ((Blood Frenzy drives them crazy to! Hehehehe))

    I mean... it just means what it meant before. If you're wearing it you don't get heals from other people, if you are wearing it you do. If you're wearing it and someone else can't heal you and you die, that's a you problem, not a them problem.

    If you have numbers on, it's pretty easy to realise who you're absolutely wasting time and magicka focusing on for heals, tbqh.

    I sure hope to see continuation of the same unity with reverting the group size changes. That is also too big an issue to have let sleeping dogs lie mentality.

    Templar here. Used to like pvping. Now I don't. It seems that every change that happens worsens my experience here.Used to be able to heal anyone now I have to be in a group. Like I said I used to like pvp.

    So now when your team has the scroll or hammer and you go to burst heal the random bowtard will get the heal instead and your teammate will be dead.

    You will once again scream for magic balls as your magic efficiency drops like a stone as you accidentally heal random players instead. Better get out those regen glyphs...

    When you go to kill a terrible enemy crown they will once again have far more than 4 healers keeping them alive and be unkillable on their boward build, 100m from the keep, milking the range siege shield bonus.

    The enemy zerg of 80 pugs will never die even if they can't play as they spam regen constantly.

    But you can play alone. Fabulous.

    And NO ONE wants to go back to seeing teams of 20 people spamming purge, rapids and regen so the FOUR dps can crow about their kill count.

    So just when I wanted to get back to pvp after trial group disbanded and this happens... Sigh. Yet again my healing would go to some randoms and no one needing it would get it (including me when ungrouped).

    Edit: some prioritization optional switch when?

    Yep, it IS going to be fabulous! We get to be healers for our ENTIRE Alliance again! Instead of only 11 people! Including all the "random players" and "bOwtArDs"! We don't discriminate against people who need healing. :D:D:D

    If you're not in a group, your heals target anyone in range.

    That would keep *some* of the good effects, and remove the bad effects.

    When does this go into effect? I sure hope we don't have to wait an entire PTS cycle.

    I don't think they'll implement this prior to the next DLC, so you will have to wait until the PTS is over.
    That's just guessing, though.

    I think they said it would be part of the next test (removing procs) which is going to happen sometime in February. Which also means it isn’t necessarily permanent. Also not sure when this would mean it gets to consoles.

    Although it wasn’t exactly clear from the way it was said so I could be misinterpreting. It was something like:
    “We will be doing extra tests in Cyrodiil - disabling proc sets. This will happen in mid February. Oh and we are reverting the healing change too.”
    So it sort of implied together, but then again, maybe not, and it might just happen with the update.

    I'm chuffed that I'm no longer totalty useless if spamming LFG left me without a group. This would also be a change I could live with though. Interesting concept.

    Obviously it was both, and either way its bad for the game. But if enough people complain enough they will change things. I did feel bad for healers, but it was a great change. But I didnt expect it to last long, especially with all the complaining. Why would zos want people to think for themselves by either joining groups or building to heal themselves instead of expected to get brainlessly healed in every fight. But what i did expect was for them to try something else instead of just reverting it all together. Sometimes I give zenimax way too much credit, they dont do small incremental changes over time. Only large drastic changes, and then reverting those changes back to normal instead of continued adjustments. Idk why i thought this one would be different.

    No, that's not obvious to anyone who's not seeking to pin performance problems on healers when ZOS pretty clearly stated that none of the tested changes had a significant enough impact on the overall player experience.

    You can complain about it because you don't like your opponents getting extra heals - that's fair. You can complain about it because you feel it makes healing unbalanced - that's a fair argument too. But complaining about it because Gina was obviously lying (twice now) that group only healing didn't have much if an impact on the overall player experience of performance is not doing any favors for your credibility.

    Gina never lied to the community. They always said the changes were about behaviour rather than performance. They wanted to see if the behaviour change would then 'lead to' performance changes. They said they haven't (although i'd still like to see the numbers personally because I think there are other factors) so they will test without them.

    Also lets not forget that this will just be a testing period not the end solution. They might bring group only healing back.

    Wait, what? Grouped healing is being reverted?

    I was starting to convert my healer for PvE... this is delightful news :)
    I guess I missed the memo, where do they announce the change?
