Did the hotfix break Group Finder?

PC/NA, 0600 MST, Solo Healer for random normal - 3 attempts, 2 at 15-20 minutes, last one at 1 hour when I logged off. Never popped.

I am not here to defend the ZOS team, but usually the problem in the queue concerns the vet dlc (which, to work with the random group, should have a different entry system with different loot) and not the normal dungeons or the veteran dungeons not dlc, said that the bugs are there but I think this problem will be solved soon, better you focus more on the vet dlc queues

PC/NA 0400 EST, Dps, waited for 4 hours and 15 mins. before I gave up for a random normal.

I tried queue for all of them.

Tank for random normal. Then tried random vet. Then tried vet pledges. None worked.

Same for DPS. Random normal didn't work, random vet didn't work, vet pledges didn't work.

I think it is very clearly a bug.

Ty for info. I only run my random vDLC, and it popped pretty fast, (twice dd less than 10 minutes) so it might be that the more people queued the more [snip] it is.

PC NA - healer (four different healer alts) on November 19. Waited for 15 minutes to 30 minutes on each alt. Never got a group.

PC EU, i do dungeons daily, at least two random dungeons solo, one on a healer and one on a tank. The issue has been present since the changes to dungeon finder, don't remember if last year or two years ago.

In two out of three days, the queue does not find me a group from the first try. If wait even two minutes, the queue doesn't find me a group. If i cancel the queue and just rejoin it, after a few leavings and rejoinings of the queue, it finds me a group instantly. One day out of three the queue finds me a group instantly from the first try.

EDIT: i think there are two separate queues, a "ghost" queue remained after the changes, and sometimes it places players there. Probably a group stats there when more players are accidentally placed there until eventually it forms a group. So people must leave the group finder and rejoin it until they are assigned in the proper queue which finds them a group instantly.

PC NA Both healer and tank queued solo for 20+ minutes with no match. Nov. 19 and happening again today.
happens with selected normal dungeons queue and random normal.
Probably irrelevant, but my ESO Plus was renewed on 19th.

Oddly I have not had any issues queuing with 2 in my party or solo (as DPS on every occasion).

I saw guild and zone reports of endless waits for a solo tank and a solo healer, both on PC/NA, queuing for a random normal (different people), starting on Thursday Nov 19, after the group finder hotfix had been had been done.

This has been going on since last night (Nov 19th). I was queued for 3 hours as a solo dps on PC/NA and the queue never popped. talking in zone chat a lot of people confirmed they were getting the same issue even as tanks and healers. I tried again today and was in the queue for an hour and 30 mins before I just logged out. If you queue up with a party of 4 it will pop, but 3 or fewer people it will never pop.

I actually remembered (as I said in a previous post), that I did successfully got groups with my first DPS of the day... Then nothing.

I'm not sure if an account is somehow getting "locked" or it was just bad luck that I couldn't get groups afterwards.

But when I first logged in yesterday I did a random and 2 vet pledges. After switching characters, no one else got groups.

Started yesterday, solo group finder never pops. Only works when pre-grouped with 4 and even then it is spotty.

All 3 tanks I gave up at around 15-20 minutes being in the queue. kept re-logging and trying again, adding a dps, re-logging more, until it finally worked.

Than I alt f4'd and played dead by daylight which is somehow LESS broken than this one

This has been going on for a while, full group with healer, tank, dds and it wont pop. We keep switching leads until it does, happens almost every day. Sometimes we get a pop and it's a "vet" dungeon, not really a vet but under 5 0characters cant get in...

Supposedly that is what yesterday's hotfix was supposed to fix, but now it just broke queuing all together.

Wow that must have been some hotfix, been trying all day to use Group Finder on NA PC with no luck. Lets hotfix the hotfix please, before the Undaunted Celebration event.

Queued right now, didn't time it but it's been close to an hour I'd say. I seldom wait more than a few minutes (and that's rare) as a healer.

So, just went back today. Queue DOZENS of times with DPS and Tanks. Not a single queue.

Tried unqueuing and queuing again dozens of times with tanks for random normals, still no go.

Literally 0 groups in almost 3 hours trying.

Solo que as healer. Couldn't get a group even after an hour.
Started after hotfix. Yesterday and today wouldn't work.

Saw players in a guild asking for a dps for random normal. Quickly joined as a dps. Instant pop for dungeon. Was able to complete it.

From about 7-11pm EST.

Also getting a couple CTDs a day just standing doing literally nothing, but that's a separate, even worse issue, I suspect.

i suppose 11.19's patch make group finder broken.

PC, NA, DD 11/19 q'd for an hour as solo DPS.

11/20 q'd for 15 minutes with tank, healer, DPS. Re-Q'd 4 more times after 2 minutes each time and finally popped. Of course 2 crashed on 3rd boss in Wayrest 1but that is more common these days and a different game breaking issue

PC, EU, tank, solo;
got it for the first time right now at time of posting.

just 10mins before this one got stuck, another one character, also tank solo, got the pop in under 1 min.
thus, bug unlikely to be related to server state or queue load, and more likely to have to do with a looping unmatched state despite having compatible players in queue.

tried leaving/rejoining queue several times.
relog did not work either.

pls hotfix kthx.

Just fix the problem. It happens to A LOT of people, in EVERY role.

Tried queuing on many different characters in different roles yesterday for the majority of the day while I farmed nodes and solo dungeons, and NOT once did I get a random dungeon. I'd say about 8 hours of total queuing. In guild chat, it seems the only way folks were getting randoms was to get 3 other players and queue up together, and even then, it wasn't reliable.

This is a big deal. Please fix ASAP.

If they are not able to fix this issue, then please just rollback the hotfix done on Nov 19 until this can be sorted out. This new problem is much more severe than the issue that was being hotfixed.

This is basically when the problem started. As those changes were in a related area, it seems quite likely to be the culprit.
