Timbercrow Wanderer costume - graphic error?

Just got this new costume from IC.

What is going on with the bum area? That line down the cheek? Looks like a graphic error... tried dying the outfit, but that lighter part of the bum does not change colour. So ... I guess now I have a tanline?

That is a No-No zone ESO, or better to say that is the zone that was left out from applying any skins, skin colors or renders and made as underwear, since the original model was not made taking into consideration that there will be so skimpy motifs (which I support lol).

1. They need to update character models in a way that textures are applied to more revealing zones and "underwear" is replaced with Thongs undies.
2. They need to "nerf" motif to cover that area.

Yeah, this is one of those outfits that had so much potential, and just... ugh.

Right now, the dye channels are feathers, leather, and trim. I get why they didn't make the undies dyeable - can't risk people dyeing them the same as their skin color since the modesty police will come down hard. And ironically they picked a default color that could blend in with some skintones...

It'd be better if they did make that dyeable though - at least making the underwear something that matches. I think it'd be best if they just added the undies to the dye channel of the leather in the first place so we could have them the same. I've seen some pics with the leather dyed black and it looks great, but then the light tan undies really stand out badly.

The PTS forum thread linked above had someone make mockups of the costume just photoshopping in the default underwear, and it actually looks much better. Problem is that different races have different amounts of skin covered, and female beast races naturally have the least skin covered by default (and male beasts have the most in that area). See the default underwear on ESO fashion on any of the skin pages.

For me, the biggest issue is the sports bra the men have, I'd really hope that could be removed. so at least we can have some shirtless barbarian types. After all, we get so many body markings from crown crates, and no good way to show them off.

For everyone. All the time. So from then on, we won't only have fat male orcs in wedding dresses, but also fat male orcs in thongs.

I concur with this. Next to the Hide Helmet button, please add a Hide Panties option.

Personally, I prefer to dream of other things than fat male orcs in thongs, but to each their own!

🤔 this would perfectly suit one of my khajiit who’s fashioned after my old lady cat. She too has a bald spot on her bum.

After submitting feedback with pictures, I hoped that at least something will be changed about this promising costume... Thank you for posting live screenshots This costume remains a wasted opportunity, and thus it's not worth buying.

In a mature rated game full of promiscuity, innuendo, and off color ribaldry, a little bit of gluteal exposure shouldn't be the big deal that it's made out to be. It's more disturbing to see adult characters in diapers than it would be a more appealingly streamlined thong.

Yeah I agree. Or they could just use default underwear, khajiit/argonian model would work well with this outfit.

Problem is that the underwear under the loincloth is larger than the female default one.
And yes now its an useless outfit unless your skin color match the non dyable underwear, and even if you could dye it it would work with most skins, if you have full body tattoo is an Khajiit or Argonian with some pattern.

Now imagine dev and 3d artists team updating player models to wear thongs, problem solved for that, and any other a bit more revealing costume, that would probably break all records in crowns store sales.
